      @@lavenderflowers1075 You people are lucky. Trees are seen as a nuisance (unless they are fruit trees) and are unwisely hacked down. The result is an increasingly hot, dusty, parched, barren landscape with issues of soil erosion and desertification that is Nigeria.

      Man, I watched a Brazil series (O Negocio) and there was footage of a city skyline, Sao Paolo? It looked incredible, like just as great as New York, Tokyo, London etc. All I've ever seen about Brazil in movies is beaches & favelas lol.
      Anyway, that's what I want our cities to look like in the near future.

      @@hussein6173 , Honestly speaking, I don't think São Paulo is a good model of motropolitan city to be followed. Differently of New York City, Tokyo, London, Paris, etc, São Paulo is very PROBLEMATIC in terms of infrastructure, cleaning, sewage system, traffic jam, violence and poverty. Our economic capital city is also to behind of other cities in terms of technology connection. Unfotunately, São Paulo is very enequal, socially speaking and you see advances only in certain areas, especially those ones where rich and high middle class live.

    I am KONAN CYRILLE and I come from Côte d'Ivoire. Sincerly I've never been to Nairobi ,but I can see in that documentary a very nice city. As an african city I wish I could visit Nairobi one day.

      Kenyan here. I've been to Abidjan. I stayed in Plateau at the Ivotel and also at de l'Indenie. I really miss Abidjan, which is also a very lovely city. I loved touring Riviera and Cocody in the orange "woro woro" and using sign language to try and communicate with the drivers 😂. I was working with MTN Technologie at Treichville/Marcory, behind Cap Sud ☺️

      It's sad that even African media just shows the negative side about other African countries. We are our own worst enemies. I have travelled to many African countries and Nairobi is way ahead of many cities. I think it's time we show the world what Africa is really about, the western media is already doing a good job making us look bad.

    The history of Nairobi is truly amazing. I would suggest the real changes came when Moi stepped down and Kibaki stepped up. The momentum since then has been breathtaking to see. Nairobi truly has become a 21st century city. Kenya a 21st century country. Yes, there are still problems but with people like General Badi, a non political person, and others like him the future is very bright.

    Nairobi is one of the most beautiful and developed cities in Africa and this video presents the city very well.
    Beauty is not to spread out a pile of concrete, and this city proves it by its attractive and varied architecture, high and low in places, and erected in green spaces, offering a beautiful landscape. The city is clean and its gutters are closed unlike many other African capitals. A city worth visiting.

      A tremendous job has more to do with the standard of living.....not the number of buildings, as long as doctors, farmers and teachers keep striking, there is no need of the word tremendous...perhaps just a great city for doing business that requires infrastructure development

      @@allanaringo When kibaki took over at the turn of the century, the countries GDP was about 27 billion, when he left after 10 years, it was about 89 billion usd, this is even after the PEV in 2007,that derailed the country, like it or not, incomes have improved tremendously. Over the last decade is when our economy has stagnated and I dont have to tell you why, recently is when our economy has reached the 100 billion usd mark.With 2021, seeming to be the year for an economic crisis, with the greatest recession ever seen in the world. I think trump was right. The future doesnt belong to the globalists! Ciao
