i understand some people might see this as an overstatement, but New Orleans Is the New Vietnam is one of the best songs ever written, for me at least. riffs are out of this world.

Mike Holderbeast uploaded about 3-4 professionally recorded songs with Anselmo. It's all on his channel.
The guy on the left of the stage most of the show is EHG’s manager Zach Ohler. His band Strong Intention was one of the more crucial east coast hardcore bands of the 90’s and 00’s. Lots of grindcore, power violence, thrash elements in their music. Definitely recommend a listen for those who never heard them.
There is nothing on this planet, that is more self empowering than heavy music. These guys are legends! Hail the leaf and ride the drone!!!!!!

This video was 2016. Mike IX had a liver transplant at the end of 2016, and was back playing with EyeHateGod in April of 2017. He'll always have to take medications to keep his body from rejecting the liver, but he's doing a lot better than he was before.

Great to see Phil Anselmo and Randy Blyth killing it with Eyehategod but there's only one real front man for Eyehategod and that's Mike IX Williams. He is the embodiment of the band!

When Pantera in 93 played at the cow palace in cal San Francisco Eyhategod and white zombie were also opening for Phil and Pantera 23 years later phil is fronting Eyhategod. Drummer makes a huge difference in a band. Vinie took it to another.level with Pantera. 🥁🤘

Far as EHG live, I've only seen Sammy Duet (omg that show where IX was DONE, I have it on bootleg & will upload if I figure it out, it's a legendary EHG show,) and Phil NAIL EYEHATEGOD. Not an easy feat for a long set, I sang two in my living room ghetto karaoke style...lost my voice in two songs. Anyhow, You can tell Duet, and Phil are huge fans, Falgoust too. if I remember Ben Falgoust came out for a song too?.
I like Randy Blythe and all, but not for EHG. He treated me like a queen as a guest at Unholy Alliance, but I didn't like him with EHG, sorry. Phil must listen to EHG like religion because man, he really put on a great performance. Being it was dedicated to IX it HAD to be. I got into EHG after seeing Phil wearing their shirt (Vitus too). Was too heavy for me at first...when they say "For the Sick" it is. When cancer got my mom I became unglued a lil. Take As Needed For Pain saved me from doing something super stupid. I was like, I can't leave this earth without hearing EHG more....then began my foray into music that rattles shit off the wall, and makes the speakers smell odd LOL
I explained that to IX he was like "you GET us, that's what we're wanting here" AWESOME!!! I had to confess I wasn't a fan from like 92, but I found those swamp blues eventually. I'm Cajun so I eat up all that music down there, especially the metal scene. I won't wanna leave when I finally visit, maybe I will just STAY. All the cool concerts happen in Nawlins anyway. (Sorry for novels, I'm watching this and commenting. Bit excited when I hear EYEHATEGOD, ok...a LOT excited.

There needs to be WAY MORE Acid Bath avail on here, jamming out to it on YT isn't hurting them. I appreciate whoever added The Blue on here, and I found Sammy playing it, which was a killer bonus I needed. I ended up having to dig out the actual CD because not even streaming music apps offer the album for play, no songs on here, but live. Live is good, but albums kick. There's Paegan Terrorism Tactics and Demos on Google's music, which gets you by. But that album missing is a bummer. I keep the streaming because I don't have ANY inclinations to rip anything more from my ridiculous collection, unless I can't find it streaming. I've become lazy...ha

Speaking of spiritual, I sorta had an experience. I believe I did anyway. When I was explaining how he helped me clean myself up, my phone rang, nobody was there... and I have "Domination" (Pantera's) as the tone. It started playing while I talked to Phil. He's like your phone ring, awesome (metal horn) I was like, uh shit...nobody is even calling though. Eyes like saucers staring at my stupid phone, probably looked like I was tripping balls to him (ya know it twas dime fuckin with us, like, watch me go! *hangs up* She's gonna trip her whole life over that!) It's his way of throwing firecrackers at us now :)
Ya, I was blessed to meet Phil after the show! Second time meeting him and just the coolest dude I've met amongst many rock stars! Nobody compares to Phillip H. Anselmo!!! Arguably the greatest frontman in music history!!!!

hey guys, it's just me or Phil has recovered something of his old voice. I dont Know... since 2010 (more or less) he seemed like the coockie's monster, now his tone of voice is like the one he had in 2008/09, a better tone... I had that impression seeing a pair of videos of Phil with Eyehategod.

There is reverse racism. Especially towards white people from the south. That's why it bothers Phil so much as he is a man of the south and the south gets shit on so much. Not just Phil either. All of Pantera were proud of being from the south. That's kinda the whole point of the "Cowboys" from hell song or in "5 Minutes Alone" he talks about how people assume things about him because of where he's from.
