You're talking about a highly modded car vs a stock 4800lbs family sedan that can run a 9 sec pass 20-25 times before a charge while you can't do that on a gas engine because of the extreme wear and stress on the engine your lucky to get 3-4 passes before a entire engine overhaul and 200 more gallons of gas. I love gas engines but stop the comparison because electric is light years ahead.
@@fordflexking2014did you just say 3-4 passes on an engine 😂 that right there tells me you have 0 clue what you’re talking about. And if they’re so far ahead why are electric cars not setting records, yet ICE cars still are?
Looks like 1/8 mile. I used to watch Pass time religiously and it seemed to me that the only fast foxes had chev engines , don't get me wrong , there was some with Ford power , just something I noticed
1. You’re thinking of 1/4 mile. This is 1/8. 2. Even still. If these are running 4s 1/8, it’ll prob run mid high 6s on the 1/4 3. Even more lol, there are cars than run under 4s 1/4 mile, but they’re top fuel nitromethane cars with 5-10,000hp. 4. This car running this is ultra light and stopped down. Prob low 2000lbs ish. These sound like turbo cars so prob a fully built, turbocharged, and/or nitrous big block. Anywhere from a 427-632 most likely. Running these times on these cars I’d guess at least 2000hp.
@@MoisesSoto-c4e yeah probably high 4s to low 5s for the 1/8. Again it all depends on gearing bc an 1/8 mile car and 1/4 mile car are built different but still just for comparison sakes. And in terms of cost. Besides to car, the motor could cost anywhere form 50-150k depending if you build yourself or crate, how much hp, how many runs you hope to get (reliability) before having to rebuild, etc.
Mine is a 5.63 quarter at 268mph took 4 yrs to build and its a daily lol about half a mil to a mil to build ..cat killer on the plate . Lmao she will move

We need these to humiliate a Tesla Plaid and shut up the fanboys. They act like a 9 sec quarter mile is some sort of a milestone lol.

Can anyone explain why and how these run 4s or 5s while a twin turbo r8 or huracán or gtr gets like 7s and 8s?
