I love this. I am an American trained Physician Assistant, and have been working here for 33 years, the last 10 years in a wonderful Refugee Clinic. I'm really interested in Public Health. I love to learn all about the NHS and the role of Physician Associate's in the UK. This was a great video, really helpful. Thank you!

Hey Nanelle, I love your channel. I’m so intrigued by the nurse experience all over the world. I love what you doing for us. I am a RN, originally from Jamaica but I’ve been in the USA most of my life now. I live in Ga, around the greater Atl area. I’m a travel nurse, I have multiple specialties ICU, PACU and med surg. I also am a charge nurse. I would love to contribute to the dialogue in nursing community. God bless you.

    Hey Nanelle, you are right.
Physician assistance is the same as physician associate in the UK. The PA profession has also changed its title from physician assistance to physician associate in the US.

So in short, those trained outside as PA can not register in UK eg Clinical Officers in Zambia.

Yes please that’s correct - anyone that is not US or UK trained PA cannot work in the UK

Hello I believe this was answered in the video. It was made mention that only US or UK trained PAs can work in the UK. So if you have done your training anywhere outside of the US or UK you would have to do your training in one of the two places to work in the UK

Laughable to think that you do the same job as a GP.
