These are amazing tips! You are truly the plug. I know here in the USA many immigrants speak another language other than English. As a travel nurse myself, I’ve been to many many hospitals and us nurses are required to use an interpreter service provided by the hospital to communicate with our pts, and we must chart that we used it and or we attempted to if English is listed as the SECOND language in their chart. Many pts from some Asian and African countries tend not to get the benefit of this bc the interpretation company that the hospital uses does not have an interpreter that speaks that language or dialect. I suggest you apply for those interpreter jobs. Also a plus is that it’s usually a telephonic job so you can work from home. I hope this helps.

The 5th tip has brought me where I am now, I’m a Nigeria trained General Nurse, while I was searching for Job from back home, I came across a mental health Trust advertisement, and they specifically said “ Mental Health Nurses Only” 😂😂Out of desperation I tailored my CV to the Job Description and requirements. and Today I’m on full sponsorship with this Trust in the UK, the best decision I made. People still get confused when I tell them I’m not a mental health Nurse, but guess what? I AM PROVING MYSELF AT WORK!. 😊😊😊😊.

I also have to show the proof of support fee and i have not yet finished the 28 day I need to wait.
