The truth is that you do it very well! I would like to do the same but I'm already old. That adventure is very good and keeps you busy from day to day, and in the city you can't live in peace. I wish you all the good and that you continue making videos because they entertain me a lot, thank you
Anyone that says that’s not one of the sickest custom build’s ever doesn’t understand or have the knowledge of why you did what you did, I know why and it’s by far one of the coolest bow rider’s I’ve ever seen, truly happy for ya man.
Awesome boat! The only improvement I would recommend is a small grab bar on either side of the console. When steering from a standing position in the front of a boat with no rest, you want something to grab that isn't part of the controls, because you will grab something if you lose balance or have to lean over for something. Don't want it to be a steering wheel or throttle! Love the channel! Been watching since you had about 30K subscribers or less.
Awesome build . My old roommate bought one years ago maybe 40 yrs ago. He bought from a guy in Florida. We live in Tennessee an I took it out by myself with his dog an had a small stressed crack from the waves in Florida but never had any problems out of the boat . I could jump in with the dog an pull myself in no problem without flipping. I believe it had a old 25 horse motor . To fast for a canoe but loved fishing with it. He still has it . We are both 61 yrs young. Respect man .
Hey Aaron, congrats on the new boat. When I first looked at it I thought the helm station forward was odd but it made sense when you explained how the boat is going to be used and where you will be running. Great visibility and the weight distribution probably negates any bow rise getting up on plane. It's nice that you have the connect at Gheenoe to make your vision a reality. Enjoy!
nice build, definitely hit the customs that make it functional. wired navigational lights and salt water don't mix, I also use battery led that I attach to pontoon rails when dark.
Love the gelcoat bump and totally relate to the sentimentality aspect. The Super 18 is righteous! The planning for camping was brilliant and really like the compact steering wheel. Beautiful mind, my friend. I would miss the stick-steer, but that 90 will rodk. Can't wait for the build video. Go get some lobsters soon!
Man those guys at Blue Point do such great work. Glad they got a shout out. I wonder how driving from the front will be if there's anything more than a moderate chop. Seems like it'd be real easy to catch air.
Love the boat and your idea to put the helm station forward. There are many examples of this style of design in commercial fishing fleets but I have never seen it on such a small boat. Kudos to you. Even though you get less G forces at the bow I would like to see non skid behind the helm and a rail to keep you secure. That central, open space is huge but suppose it got flooded? I think big drains with jocker valves might be a potential solution. Once you are going forward the water will drain quickly. Same principle in sailing dinghies. Love the channel
thank you! love how it came out for sure. its its been pretty well thought out, even full of water the boat shouldn't sink with the amount of foam we built into it!
I love. Hard to get used to your forward console but I really like it better than your other one. There’s a reason mullet & bully net boats have been setup like that for years. Plus you’re up higher for greater visibility. Can’t wait for y’all’s future videos.
With your weight on the bow and that 4 blade, I'd imagine your draft is super shallow when running. Really stoked for you. It's an innovative and beautiful boat.
Huge congratulations, Aaron! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻What a gorgeous color!😍 When you first took off, you looked so strange standing but then the side view makes it look really spacious. Hopefully, you like standing better than sitting 😜 Looks super fun; wish you the best and can’t wait to tag along! Have a Blessed Night 😊
Thanks - very informative. Very impressed with the boat. I was concerned she would be bow heavy with you standing up there and figured that was why you went with the bigger motor. I have watched other videos and she doesn't appear bow heavy at all so "nice job". I'm completely restoring a pacific dory and your plan for a removable live well really gave me an "ah ha" moment so that was cool. She is so well suited to your life style - VERY well done.
Congratulations on the new boat!! Your living true dream of mine, I also built boats in Central Fla for many years. One trip down to the Keys and I was hooked! I wanted to move down there so bad, just couldn't talk the wife into it. She does love to fish as well, mabe now since we are both retired. Love the color, love the layout, love the motor. Bet you won't get much sleep for the next month until the newness wears off. Again congratulations!!!!!
I’m happy for you sir. You work very hard to keep all of us entertained. You deserve the Gheenoe and more! Lots of great content coming from that boat!
That is a litle fish catching machine! Gheenoe builds quality little skiffs. I wish they would build something just a tad wider with enough room to put a side console. A beautiful litle rig you imagined coming to life...well done.
She's a beautiful build! I love the helm! I'm sure that counterbalance doesn't even faze that nice Mercury, massive gear storage balancing, imho, many incredible one of a kind features Great Build!
Terrific job rigging the wiring ,controls and love the color. Never have enough open space ..needs a paddle ,first aid kit and a mounted fire ext. Have many years of fun and great memory making.
Appreciate this in depth video of the Super 18. When you posted this a while back ago I was in the market for small boat that I could easily transport from Kansas City to the Keys and a few spots I like to fish on the Alabama coast. Long story short, this video heavily influenced me to purchase a Super 18 from the factory! I'm making the drive down to Titusville to pick it up in a few weeks and cannot wait to try it out. We love your videos, keep up the good work! Rick
Great thing about the bow helm station is better vision of shallow water obstructions. Also, less chance of porpoising when running in a chop since no trim tabs. I really like what you came up with. Bless your vessel and all who sail in her!
Removable livewell is probably the most brilliant idea ive ever seen on one of these... nice f***** job dude. Im am very impressed and im certain the rest of the Gheenoe community is raving over this build. Guaranteed you start seeing forward consoles now lol
Thanks for all your hard work ! It certainly is a Sweet build ! The only thing I didn’t see was a comprehensive first aid kit, a portable, marine transceiver, radio ,a spare prop and shear pins for the same. Murphy was a wise man.
Nice looking boat. Really odd for me to see the front console and steering but watching the boat in action it is riding smooth very maneuverable and the visibility of front water is nice. ( fresh water guy here ). Wish ya smooth running.
Man that looks like fun. When I lived down there 10yrs ago we built our bully boats out of Carolina Skiffs . Fun as heck to ride around in um, just a cool feeling to driving from that position. Angelo - Charleston Sc.
I had a classic for years and loved it, but this thing is next level! By far the coolest Gheenoe I’ve seen. Amazing work and creativity putting that all together.
Dang a commercial Gheenoe, that's awesome! I'm running a 15-4 with a 15 hatsu. I can run around 23-24 mph WOT. I love my little boat but a big dawg like yours would be awesome.
Well done little brother. Very proud of the person you are. The boat is incredible and I have been waiting to see it. The design speaks so much of your experience and logic . It also, speaks to always caring for others. You are truly a wonderful guy. If you ever need a preacher to marry the two of you I would be honored to help. Again well done my friend. 🎉
a little non skid up there where you drive from...but I'm 59 and you're young! Great boat, well laid out, logical design and looks phenomenal also! Many memories ahead in her...
To be honest when I first saw the setup I was thrown off by the whole thing but after you explained it and I understood/remembered your lifestyle it all made sense....it's a well spec'd boat. I have been saving to do my own gheenoe build now for awhile since I stumbled upon your videos. The company as a whole does great work and the customization is just unmatched. Love the new rig and look forward to camping videos! cheers brotha
Bro when I discovered your channel I had my Gheenoe LT25 built from seeing your first one,I had never heard of Gheenoe here in Louisiana,i didn’t even know the super 18 existed,or that there were two different gheenoe shops/brothers,the 18 is the boat I would have really needed wanted, may get on the list for one, awesome boat
That joker is sweet. I have a 2016 classic that l mess around with in the back waters with. Hope to move up to a super 16 eventually like the one you had.
Hey bubba I see the storm is going your way as for us Floridians it’s nothing but craziness happiness. So fish on because we all know storms bring good fishing !
That's a great design for a small boat. I like the up front steering, you'll be able to see the skinny water from up there. And it gave you more space. Very cool. I'm surprised you didn't put a polling platform over the motor for pushing around and for a little fishin' tower. Plus you can put rod holders for trolling, something I love to do. Hopefully we'll see you catch plenty of fish and lots of underwater hunting on her. Buena suerte, good luck.
Neat rig. Looks like it rides well without having to trim bow up very much considering the weight at the bow. Balanced. Love the amount of useful space.
Can’t wait to see all the extras y’all can do with it. Congrats nice setup. I like how you thought about what are you really going to use it for and design around that point. Great job
whoa. what a build. long story short all of my fishing life was with a 17 ft gheenoe with a 37lb thrust trolling motor and a deep cycle battery. bought when I was born in 83 and sold when I was 36. still going strong. good call on the front console...heads will turn for sure tho lol.
As promised… here are my matching set of spear guns I made. White oak, neptronics trigger mechanisms, and 5/16 cold rolled round stock for the spears.😊I guess I can’t add the photo. Neptronics still honours your code.thanks again for your response to my questions. It was helpful. I’m off to the west coast Vancouver island area to try them out.
That boat is so so sick. I’ve always wanted a gheenoe but haven’t found one yet. Loved this walkthrough and can’t wait to see what you can do on that thing!
Another great video - I just picked up a LT25 and the Gheenoe brand was based on your videos. Love your new boat and you deserve it! Can't wait to see some back country adventures with your new baby.

Awesome boat! The only improvement I would recommend is a small grab bar on either side of the console. Reminds me of the mullet boats from Tampa Bay....that just struck me as I was watching the drone view!
Haha just like em!
Looks awesome. Excited to see more small boat videos with this thing. Glad to know I'm not alone in finding imperfect vehicles less stressful.
stoked on it!
Awesome ! The drone footage rocks ! Best of Luck with your new very cool boat !

Very unusual. It's yours and the description explains your needs. Looking forward to making memories with you. Keep the good times coming.
indeed! thanks so much
Super 18 Waterman Edition! Freaking sick!!!
haha
nice build, definitely hit the customs that make it functional. wired navigational lights and salt water don't mix, I also use battery led that I attach to pontoon rails when dark.
stoked on it for sure, and yea wanted to avoid the wired ones again.
Go get some lobsters soon!
change is good they say, will def miss the old boat but looking forward to it all in this one! thanks so much
Congratulations on your new gheenoe, saw your old one roll by while at work the other day. Hope it went to a good home!
it surely did! very nice people
Man those guys at Blue Point do such great work. Glad they got a shout out. I wonder how driving from the front will be if there's anything more than a moderate chop. Seems like it'd be real easy to catch air.
they really do! and hopefully wont be running in chop, will wreak havoc on my back. shes made for the calm days! haha
Chris at Bluepoint is a true craftsman..

already found a ton of coral heads and rock piles I've been driving right past! def is a game changer for me down here.
With your weight on the bow and that 4 blade, I'd imagine your draft is super shallow when running. Really stoked for you. It's an innovative and beautiful boat.
it should be for sure, love how it came out!
Huge congratulations, Aaron! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻What a gorgeous color!😍 When you first took off, you looked so strange standing but then the side view makes it look really spacious. That’s the sickest Gheenoe I’ve seen! I miss my LT25 hopefully I can get another one after I finish my 25 Hydra sport build!
haha stoked with it!
I’m loving the design. Excellent combination of functionality and form ☯️🙏
so happy with it!
That's a neat boat , and forward thinking as far as the consol is concerned. Maximum utilization of the space. Nice!
Wow!! Too cool man. Could imagine myself on the front driving it. It looks like a enjoyable experience. Beautiful boat. Nice color. Too cool man!
haha its a blast I won't lie!

Change is hard

@@chubbrock659 it was a nice setup and the memories
Beautiful Skiff! Congratulations!!!
thank you!
I like it. I’ve had a super 16 for years and I’ve beat the tar out of that thing and it’s ready to go. That 18 looks killer.
haha love them things
Beautiful build. The custom fuel tank… the livewell setup…. Big fish box…. The mini steering wheel. Definitely well thought
love how it came out!

I’m happy for you sir. You work very hard to keep all of us entertained. You deserve the Gheenoe and more!
Lots of great content coming from that boat!
thanks so much 🙏
I've spent a fair share of time around lake and north east ocean boats - but nothing like this... what a sweet way to think about a boat. very cool
thank you!
It's the imperfections that build a story and character , and that's what makes your boat perfect .
🙏
Congratulations homie! I can't wait to see the videos you pump out
thank you!
Love the steering at the top, it creates the perfect buoyancy given the size of the engine, very smart design.
stoked on it!
Great boat! Took me a minute to understand why you had a washing machine on your bow…. Makes sense now!
lol
I love the front steering wheel and the fact you can camp in it. A lot of memories are going to be made in this one.😊
stoked about it! thank you!
I am from Gloucester, Ma couldn’t believe you got the steering wheel from Roses. Used to see the old boat when I lived by Bobalu’s. Awesome build!
haha had them ship me one down! love it!
That is a litle fish catching machine! Gheenoe builds quality little skiffs. I wish they would build something just a tad wider with enough room to put a side console. A beautiful litle rig you imagined coming to life...well done.
def is! excited to get her workin!
@@KeyWestWaterman I know they put in a side console but would like something with at least 60" beam because I'm a big guy.

Great Build!
rides like a dream!
Glad for your new ride Aaron, as usual you have put a lot of thought and planning into your decision…. Enjoy!!!
thank you!
Nice boat man. Enjoy it. May the new adventures begin.
haha indeed!
Super cool. From LA we see these FLA style rigs chasing mullet - some Moreno thinking now applied for my own interests and applications
yea very similar! haha thanks for watching!
Aaron ! Well done on the boat design.
thank you!
Hard work does pay off. The rigging looks super pro and the Gelcoat is gorgeous. Wow, that girl looks good on plane. Have fun Aaron.
so happy with it!
Sick build! The fact that you and Madeline can lay down comfortably in it is awesome!
Stoked with it!!!
Terrific job rigging the wiring ,controls and love the color. Never have enough open space ..needs a paddle ,first aid kit and a mounted fire ext. Have many years of fun and great memory making.
Congratulations on the new boat. It looks like you got your drone issues figured out as well. More power to ya bro!
thank you!
I absolutely love watching each and everyone of your videos that I can personally connect to and learn from all of them love the new boat!!

Great thing about the bow helm station is better vision of shallow water obstructions. Also, less chance of porpoising when running in a chop since no trim tabs. I really like what you came up with. Bless your vessel and all who sail in her!
exactly my thoughts!
The new ride is awesome great setup
thank you!
Yay! So happy for you guys! Now you need to find nail polish to match your toes w the boat! 😊😊😊😊😊
haha thank you!
Crushed it! The bow set up reminds me of the mullet boys running stumpknocker and Carolina Skiffs back in the 90s. Stoked for you.
haha right
Love the new puddle jumper lol deff the perfect set up for your style. Can’t want to see the adventures you make on it!

The Mullet Gheeno. Looks like a mini Cortez mullet boat. That bow visibility is gonna be awesome.
