Because the boat is a long 52 feet, you don’t get as much of a sensation of speed as you would with a shorter boat at the same speed. That boat’s a beauty, but with a price tag of over $3 million, I won’t be a Cigarette customer unless a lottery comes in for me.
Fantastic video. Great to see you both finally get out on a Cigarette. They are the best. I worked at Cigarette Racing Team in the 80's when they were still located on Powerboat Row in North Miami Beach. I was just a secretary, but have been on boats all my life growing up in Miami. My dad was an "unlimited" captain and learned a lot from him. They would always let me go out on sea trials with them during my lunch hour. Those 38' Top Guns would top out over a 100mph...and I loved every minute of those rides! Good times back then. You two put out the absolute best boating videos of anyone. I wish you all the best with your new Bering yacht. Thank-you for sharing the journey with us all. 💙
I was amazed at how quiet the boat was at high speeds, No screaming engines and the wind noise was tolerable. I was smiling from ear to ear at the two of you having so much fun driving the boat. Thanks for the tour and video, loved it.
That’s the most amazing Cigarette that I’ve ever seen!!! The user friendly innovative features on this craft are over the top!!! This is definitely a cutting edge technology craft!!! I couldn’t help but notice that you could easily carry on conversations with the people in the second row and your voices were not distorted by wind and waves!!! This is the best sea trial that I’ve ever seen on this class of boats. Hats off to Cigarette and NautiStyles!!!

As always Cigarette does an amazing job, beautiful boat and they thought of everything. The biggest Cigarette I was on was a 41 footer, it went a little faster but not near as comfortable of a ride. Back in the eighties Mercury Marine was making 750Hp from a 500 Cu. in. Chevy V-8 for offshore racing, so you usually had 2 or 3 in V bottoms and up to 4 in Super Cats like Popeyes. Getting 500Hp from outboards is amazing to me, Your 80 or so MPH run did bring back memories. Thanks for a great video as always.
Wow. I remember way back when in the olden days, Cigarette was about as high end as any one could go for fast boat life. They where fast and sleek and able to keep the speed up even in rough sea and waves and a dream boat for us young ones. Several decades later that dream was brought back to life now. watching this video. I can remember the sound of the Cigarettes and the rumble from the engines, as they passed us by and I used to tell myself that one day I will have a Cigarette of my own. Maybe it is time to do something about that dream?
Cigarette has an excellent reputation and legacy. This is just another example of what a great job they do building fast boats. Thanks for bringing this to your channel.
Never realized that they were actually a brand. Always thought it was just a class of boat. I guess it got used so much like Band-Aid that it is now used as the name as well as being a brand.
@@heinzwolf7146 It's true the cartels use go fast boats, and some are manufactured by cigarette. But I have never seen proof of cigarette working with or being forced to build them. Exactly what I was thinking. But I bet the boat weighs thousands with all the hydraulic motors for dumb shit. Lose a couple thousand lbs and I bet it gains 10-15 mph
really cool boat all the automation is cool but seems like it would be a nightmare when those things start to fail or malfunction , and at some point they will I guess if you can afford the boat you can afford the maintenance and repairs and doing 100 mph down the coast is sure to make you forget about the cost.
Beautiful Cigarette, and I LOVE how quiet the new Mercs are. I'd wager that boat could top 90 with different props, even if it didn't accelerate as fast. I also noticed very little bow rise or drop when you guys were changing speeds. I would have liked to see a bit more chain for the anchor, it looked like there was about 20' of anchor chain? I'd like 50' for a boat that length and weight. I'll probably be the odd man out on this one but, too MUCH remote control can be a bad thing WHEN stuff gets wet and corroded. There's really no need for the backrests in the front, the wing doors or the cabin entrance to be powered. The hatch over the SeaKeeper could just have "lift assist struts" instead of a powered lift mechanism.
The super rich person that buys this boat don’t care about cost of maintenance. They want everything hydraulic to impress friends. Rich people don’t think in terms of practicality, they are more concerned with impressing others. They will probably own the boat for 1-2 years, get tired of it and get a new one.
The song "you cant always get what you want".... yes i cant always get what i want. Lolll What a piece of engineering work. This i would own absolutely
Yup. Florida. In 1955, 9 out of 10 Doctors smoked Cigarettes, and in 2023 9 out 10 Plastic Surgeon Doctors own Cigarette boats. Edit: Oh, and and 8 out of 10 Walmart Greeters got these boats.
Is there any empirical value up to what length a motor yacht can manage as a "liveaboard" without a crew? So only in the Mediterranean and in the coastal area from port to port.
Time to add a little controversy. I follow the boat reviews of Victoria and Rico with enthusiasm, especially in regard to the melding of technical design and aesthetics in many of the boats they review. But this time I fell quite uncomfortable. This is a rich persons toy with lots of glitter and little substance. It is for people who want to show off their wealth, an obese jet ski. At the very least take off two engines and donate that saving to the unfortunate people of Maui or such other sadly impacted community who have concerns well beyond instant gratification.
And how do you know that the people that can afford to buy that boat are not helping others while indulging themselves with some toys? Why is it that people are so jealous and envious of people with money? The funny thing is that the people that hates the rich are constantly dreaming of one day being rich themselves. Isn’t that ironic?
I personally hate outboard powered boats due to all the weight on the transom and all of the maintenance on 6 separate engines. Who wants to replace 48 spark plugs. I have been thinking about building a 70'-80' high performance speed yacht. I am thinking about GE LM1500 for propulsion, with 15,000 horsepower on tap it should easily be a 100mph boat.
Because the boat is a long 52 feet, you don’t get as much of a sensation of speed as you would with a shorter boat at the same speed. That boat’s a beauty, but with a price tag of over $3 million, I won’t be a Cigarette customer unless a lottery comes in for me.

3000 HP & ONLY 80 MPH?
yes that much hp is vanity. 1500hp would be within 5MPH
well maybe it has more torque
Nice blue sky 😎🇺🇸✌🏽
Very nice boat. At 80 mph on water, i might have rolled off an
😮chit also. Once again ,great job guys.
lol
I didn't see any rod holders
It says racing boat in the title.
That is a beast! We can only dream about boats like that. 👍
lose the music
We want to listen to the motor no music no talking when the boat engine start
They stole it off 'yacht buyer' channel
The song "you cant always get what you want".... yes i cant always get what i want. Lolll
What a piece of engineering work.
Definitely your funniest ep..... I liked when I could hear the engines rather than the music.
Thanks for sharing your opinion
opinion..... hmm thanks I think. @@NautiStyles
Drug cartel boats
Yes

It'll use more gas than the cargo is worth
Лол, жжош))))
Imagine being the coast guard and smelling BBQ smoke coning from the boat that's outracing you
Pair your designer cowboy hat with scuba gear for a memorable occasion.
in 100 miles the tanker needs gasoline😂
Is there any empirical value up to what length a motor yacht can manage as a "liveaboard" without a crew? So only in the Mediterranean and in the coastal area from port to port.
Where's the seatbelts that Boat isn't worth the money
🤣
That was absolutely exhilarating & WILD .....Thanks Victoria, Rico & of course Robert ❤
Thank you for watching Paul
Time to add a little controversy. I follow the boat reviews of Victoria and Rico with enthusiasm, especially in regard to the melding of technical design and aesthetics in many of the boats they review. But this time I fell quite uncomfortable. This is a rich persons toy with lots of glitter and little substance. It is for people who want to show off their wealth, an obese jet ski. At the very least take off two engines and donate that saving to the unfortunate people of Maui or such other sadly impacted community who have concerns well beyond instant gratification.
What?!?
If I have money I’m taking care of my family and having fun and the hell with everyone else.
And how do you know that the people that can afford to buy that boat are not helping others while indulging themselves with some toys? Why is it that people are so jealous and envious of people with money? The funny thing is that the people that hates the rich are constantly dreaming of one day being rich themselves. Isn’t that ironic?
@@dj5943 they don’t know. They think everyone that does well for themselves should give it away to those that won’t stand on their own two feet.
@@darthjar9117 I agree 100%. They don’t realize that people with money do donate lots of cash for social causes. It’s called paying taxes.
