We need a “fast forwarder” of how this ended up causing shields to get in a funk, dismantle the white Sox into a rebuild, and also how the Padres got Tatis from it

It’s amazing the White Sox knew James Shields gave up a home run to Bartolo Colon of all people and shortly afterwards were convinced...”Yes, this is the pitcher we need to make us a playoff contender and will give up one of our most promising prospects to get him!”

No it isn’t because pitchers hitting home runs is exceedingly rare. All they can do most of the time, if they do anything at all, is sac bunt which of course requires there to be at least one runner on with less than two outs, which is obviously not always the case. I kinda like that the AL has the DH while the NL doesn’t because it means that unlike in other sports, there’s a difference between them. (Besides what teams they have) But no way should the AL go back to not having the DH.
