I thought of doing the same thing to prevent having to manually dump the contents of my catch can at every oil change. However, that catch can is mostly catching fuel and water. That is the last thing you want in your engine oil. I will get a fuel hose attached to the bottom of the catch can and route it next to the oil pan with a ball valve mounted nearby. That way whenever I’m doing a oil change I can open that up quick and get it emptied while dumping the engine oil. I also have a ez drain valve on the oil pan no tools required. I’d like to relocate the oil filter someday but I guess it’s alright if the frame gets a little extra oil on it every now and then.
Well I just did a big engine modification and did not put the centrifuge back on YET! I'll be doing that in the next couple of weeks. As far as oil color after 5000 miles it was definitely black but was not that "Heavy thick black" color. It was more like a gasser oil look to it. The centrifuge for sure is catching the small particles. I have a video that shows me cleaning it. Thanks for the question.
Could be a good place to drain catch can into. with a valve. Don't want pressure back feeding in catch can.

Hey Leroy can you make an update on your oil centrifuge? Does it keep the oil yellow? How does the main filter look like? Thank you
