I bought one of these from Leroy and a ton of other stuff I’ve got to say he has to be one of the best 6.5L guys out there he actually answers the phone himself and is so knowledgeable with these trucks and his products are top of the line I think I bought the FFM AND BCD AND FTB AND 6.6L fan and clutch up grade and fuel tap and The BRF Fittings and fluid damper and some other stuff from him about 4 years ago now and I haven’t had any problems with any of it and I got my tune from him which was actually from quad star tuning, but he was the one who helped me get the right tune for my truck and I’m glad I went to him and now I need some new stuff and I’m going straight back to him because the customer service is the best I’ve ever had thank you Leroy your buddy Robbie alprin I’m sure you remember me calling you all the time when I was building my truck with all them questions sorry it was my first diesel even though I’ve been a mechanic since I’ve been 17 and now I’m 39! I just wanted to show you my appreciation for you great service and help
Oh the only thing that I had a problem with was actually my own fault I bought the steel braided oil cooler lines and I even bought the spiral protection for it, but didn’t put it on and the frame wore a hole in my lines and them bad boys weren’t cheep so the old leaking ones went back on and are still on there and still seeping oil but you live and learn I still have that damn spiral wrap too now I just need to cough up another 250$ for some new lines but I think I’ll be going with the relocation kit this time
Thank you, just seeing this, sorry for delay. I get about a thousand notifications from YT a day so some go unnoticed. Thank you for your support and kind words.
Hey Leroy I was just wondering if you could give us a little bit more of a sales pitch. Warranty etc etc. Explain why this pump is so much better than the other pumps you've already sold and maybe talk about the fuel pressure adjustment and show us how you would do that and what other benefits this setup offers. I was wondering also what the minimum and maximum fuel pressure can be administered to the injection pump as to cause no harm. Thanks for your help.
what’s the power difference vs the stock ac delco? like is it noticable?? my trucks 96 i see there’s a relay harness or sumthing for it do i have to purchase that separately
Hi, if the engine runs good with no problems otherwise then just switching over to the Raptor BCD kit will make a pretty big /noticeable difference in the way engine runs. Stanadyne tech manuals call for a minimum of 9psi. The stock LP on its best day is around 4 or less psi. So upgrading to a LP system that can make at least 9psi (I suggest 13psi) makes the engine run better. You should run the optional Lift Pump Relay Harness (LPRH) also, even on a stock LP. The wire size and contact inside the Oil Pressure Switch (OPS) are to small and will burn up the OPS and LP. With my LPRH that is a thing of the past.
@ what do you mean if the engine runs good with no problems otherwise? i’m pretty sure it runs aight that stock lift pump that’s still in there sounds pretty lazy i got an ac delco plugged it into the the harness it friggn was insane kinda jump scare the way it took off lmaoo compared to the old one
@seanbibby2789 if the engine is running without other problems that may be presenting issues than upgrading the lift pump system you will notice a big difference
Is the filter that comes optional a replacement for the original fuel filter the truck normally has or is it a secondary fuel filter? Dont really get why the Raptor Lift Pump comes with an optional filter in the first place.
Before opening mouth maybe make sure you have an understanding of what you are asking. Try looking at minute 7:25 in video for you question. You do use the supplied fittings. Sorry if it comes off rude but putting up content takes a lot of time and thought then you say it was terrible! Did you even buy your kit from me?

Thanks for continuing to develop solutions for these vehicles

So maybe I’m dumb, but does the filter come with it?
Yes when you buy the BCD kit. You can buy the base kit also witch does not.
great video on the installation. I noticed that you mentioned that you really need 13psi to feed the 6.5. Is that with FTB mod or running stock FFM.
Bet the pump is awesome but 500 Bucks. That hurts in the wallet😅
This explanation is terrible how exactly do I connect to the hard lines if we don't use supplied fittings.
