Hello Thank you very much for your vidéo and your help. Your setting match perfectly with my config and it s super cool….have a nice fly and thanx a lot Gary
@@adilawadilaw8248 with a 4070ti you could try to put godlike and see how it goes. For sure Ultra will work well. Set sharpening to your liking, I have mine on the default 75% and I'm happy with it.
DLSS better than TAA? it can be better in performance, you're right! but its almost impossible to read anything that moves in the digital displays. (altitude, airspeed)
I use DLSS in MSFS exclusively, it even gives me better image over TAA, as TAA does this awful ghosting on moving objects. But you must use DLSS swapper, to attach latest DLSS version to MSFS. I use some nvidia inspector tweak too, but I can't tell those are doing something valuable or only cause stutters.
@@crisk73 I set up mbucchia toolkit fps counter and get basic VR settings to 40fps on 80-90% of the flying in do. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower but on avg 40fps. The HMD does a reprojection to fit 80-90-120hz by itself. What I don't get is ssw wobbles on the horizon. Also ssw takes processing power away from the goggles, son without ssw and natural reprojection at 1/2 or 1/3 of the hz, you get no tearing and it's butter smooth. I choose 120hz because it can deal fast with the slight fps changes.
@@b6s4shelter Can you please share your exact settings?, I am trying to optimize my settings with a RTX4090 and 5800x3D for the Quest3 to get to that butter part, too. That would be very kind.
@@zumorc there's so much to say. I run mbucchia with fixed foveated rendering medium high quality setting, render scale in bucchia toolkit to 4500 or 5000x depending on type of flying, sim is DLAA, ultra tlod 250 OLOD 150, you can turn down some effects but what helps a lot is high textures x16 and find about 40fps with bucchia fps counter, set virtual desktop on godlike, av1 codec, 120hz. I have a 6e wifi so I can max the bandwidth in VD. Once your around the 40fps, the goggles with triple that, by displaying the same image 3 times. Old school reprojection, but I don't use SSW in VD, due to wobbles. Never enabled.

Grazie mille @crisk73 davvero molto utile e ben fatto! Sicuramente un video da tenere tra i preferiti ;)
Grazie troppo gentile.
Thank you!
Hy , do u use DX12 or Dx11 in VR?
DX11 because it is less VRAM intensive.
i have rtx 4070 ti oc can i put godlike ? also Sharpening i have 100 % i have to put it on 75 % like u?
Thx!

@@fsprimo TAA still has some aliasing that DLSS doesn't have. Try the Ultra Quality DLSS and you'll be able to read displays just fine.

If you have Nvidia rtx, try DLAA. It uses tensor core to do better TAA, no up sampling of dlss.
@@b6s4shelter Tried DLAA, got same FPS as TAA. I use DLSS mostly to gain some performance in VR mode, in other words to see less GPU usage
Where do I find this "Virtual Desktop"? its not on any of the app stores (Microsoft, Meta, Steam)
@@LoGoBDA it's in the Meta Store.
@@crisk73 I just checked - its not there (US Meta store) - Found it, its not in the Meta VR store!

How do you record game footage like that?
