Hello, welcome to my Pikmin playthrough! Join me as I play through one of my favorite videogame series, with 100% completion and no deaths.
In this part, we meet Captain Olimar, the protagonist, as he crash lands into an unknown planet, his ship almost destroyed in the process. Now, he must gather all of his missing ship parts with the help of the Pikmin.

I remember not finishing this game as a kid mostly cause I was sad when the pikmin died lol but im picking back up at pikmin 3 for the switch. Its nice seeing the stories for the first 2 games and im sure I'll enjoy catching up ☺

You can watch your phone to kill time for this, but every time you sprout the reds on the first day, they can over time become buds then flowers. I find it good to leave them in the ground till they become flowers so that for the next day you can get a bit of a head start with breaking the gate down faster. It's an unlimited day so you can wait long as you want
So true that is what i figured(Let the pikmins bloom to Flowers!) then on to find Olimar's missing Dolphin ship parts.
Always great to just be able to go back to these videos and just relax and enjoy again. Felt the need to watch your Pikmin Walkthroughs again for some nostalgia :D

I would play Pikmin 1 and 2 if Pikmin 3’s controls and gameplay could be retrofitted into those games like the lock on, the advanced mini map, Improved AI, and easy cycling through Pikmin types.

I bet that each Pikmin would have a different flavor. Perhaps yellows could have a zesty flavor to them while blues had a more salty, shellfish like taste to them. As for reds well I think they would have a sweet but spicy flavor to them.

I just finished my first full playthrough of Pikmin 3!
I’m a fan of how pikmin become white in the first game. Obviously they couldn’t do this in pikmin 2 because now there’s actual white pikmin.
On the first day, since there is no time limit, you can wait for the Pikmin sprouts to bloom into flowers. This way, you'll reach day 2 with 25 flower Pikmin, and you won't have to worry about collecting as much nectar.
Thanks! I'm aware and this is useful if you want to complete The Forest of Hope in one or two days.
I tried that but the archaic controls let me down big time.

Just for my own curiosity, did you have to deal with the crush glitch? Besides Beady Long Legs and the burrowing snagrets, that was the one thing I lost Pikmin to almost constantly.
Yeah, they'd often force a day reset.

Too many people can't seem to appreciate a playthrough without a voice. I'm not surprised if majority of them don't know how to immerse themselves into the game. I'm saying this because when I immerse myself into a game, hearing a person talk ruins it for me, it's like reading or watching a movie. For some reason, people tend to request these people to do voice overs (like why would you do that instead of going to another channel that has a perfectly good commentary on the exact same game?)

Oxygen can in fact have toxic effects even on us who breathe the stuff. Perhaps earth's atmosphere got more oxygenated after who knows how many eons passed after humanity died out and this new ecosystem came to be.
It could be, or could be not. Earth's atmosphere is actually 21% oxygen, majority of it is nitrogen. However, Hocotate could have an entirely different composition in it's atmosohere, maybe their atmosphere has argon as it's main component in its atmosphere.

That's impiospbile to beat this game with no deaths cus bulborbs
Landon Flame Dragon they’re easiest to keep pikmin from dying. Aim for their back sides and when they shake the pikmin off call all of them and run out of its view then as it starts to walk back to where it’s sleeping just be cautious and follow it back and repeat the process till it’s done. If you have a large amount of pikmin sometimes you can pull off not running away when they’re shook off by continuing to throw pikmin as it’s shaking them off because it’ll just continuously shake. Even then you’ll still occasionally have to call them because they will go for the legs once shaken off and cause no damage and be eaten. However this won’t work for the black bulborbs. With those you must always do the running back and forth when they’re shaken off since they’re much faster and will eat even if they’re being continually attacked. Hope this helps!!
