Does the wire on the deflector hang down like an umbilical cord when the hood is up? Looks like you wired it in right up front, so I figured it must extend from the hood to the body someplace.

No, it comes with 3m wire clamps to streamline the wire. You just run it along with your engine compartment light wire.

Little late.. but superduty is usually written across the front of the hood. Is there any way to get "superduty" in chrome?

Looks good. Wondering if this improved the ride quality at all.
The ride quality on all the new superduty's is top notch. I wasnt trying to improve the ride quality as much as clearance for the larger tires. It did stiffen up and provide a little less impact feeling over hard bumps.

How is the hood guard with the light strip I feel like it’s cheap. It definitely looks great and makes the truck look more aggressive is it worth it ?
I strictly installed it for looks nothing more. For me I think it serves the purpose I was hoping for and is definitely worth it to me. It runs around $170 at most websites so definitely not cheap. The light bar puts out nice light and I prefer having it taped on rather then drilling.
And you haven’t had any issues tapping into the headlight wires?
@@Chris-bl6hhI haven't experienced any problems they've worked flawlessly. If you wire them into your marker lights like I showed i wouldn't expect an issue. You can also attach it to your upfitter switches if you want.
Ive used AVS in the past and if you only used the supplied tape you will have problems in the near future if driving highway speeds......at higher speeds as soon as a corner gets a little unseated it will only get worse and eventually flap in the wind and snap off. Got warrantied a new one and bought more tape and covered every millimeter and it lasted forever. Just a heads up.

Do they make the light shield with white leds and not amber ??
Do you have a link for the tool box and bed cover you are using? Also does any water get in the bed?
There's a link for all the products in the description. If I park on an incline sometimes water will get in at the backside of the tool box closest to the window. There is a gasket I need to install there to remedy. Everywhere else I havent had any water infiltration. The bed has hip and valleys which keeps most anything I have dry if it does get in from that area. Hope that helps

No, I didn't have to remove the battery. I would suggest disconnecting it though. Hope that helps.

Yea I had to adjust them just park your truck about 5 feet away from your garage door measure the hieght of your lights and match that on your garage where the cut off would be.

@ DeMiDoG45 - You deleted another comment ------> "It'd be hard to find a shop that would mount any tires out of manufacturer's specs." I would respectfully have to disagree. I have seen several hundred...maybe a few thousand Ford Super duty trucks on the road with 37 x 12.50 - 20 tires mounted on the OEM factory 20 x 8 rims. Doubtful that any of those truck owners mounted those tires, unless they work at a tire shop. The recommended rim range of 8.5 to 11 inches is for the 37 x 12.50 - 20 tire size.
The data and specifications I have seen is the following. The tire manufacturer's post a RECOMMNEDED "rim range" and not a REQUIRED "rim range". Maybe I am wrong or have not seen all the available data and specifications.
There are alot of things in life that you can do. Not all would I recommend especially given a guideline of set recommendations. You can drive with very little engine oil and prob be ok. Would I do it? No....

What’s the brand for the headlights?
The headlights themselves are stock OEM came with the truck. The sport lariat upgrade comes with blacked out trim around the side marker. I installed aftermarket led bulbs V.4. If that helps.

My lower bulbs had major flickering so I had to get the module to correct it. As you can see in the video it worked and I havent had an issue since.
@@demidog4549 Headlight Revolution is an excellent source for aftermarket LED bulbs. Think they have a TH-cam video showing a stock pile of LED lights. Their video shows and explains most LED's are junk.....only a few LED's are high quality. One of the best LED headlight manufacturer's is GTR Lighting in Georgia......very high quality LED bulbs.

Granted, this is an unusual...maybe even odd ball size tire. However, this somewhat elusive tire size might be just the tire size many people want to mount on a F-250 or F-350 Ford Super Duty with a 2.5 inch lift and not have to be concerned with trimming the inner back side of the front wheel well opening. In addition, a narrow tire is more ideal for snow country...a wide tire more ideal for sand. Mud.....width is no concern...good lugs that provide clean out is preferred.
For this particular tire size ----> 37 x 11.50 - 20 ...Nitto states a "rim range" of 7.5 to 10 inches. For the tire size -----> 37 x 12.50 - 20 ...Nitto states a "rim range" of 8.5 to 11 inches.
I misread the initial comment and thus deleted because yes you were right about the 11.5 width tire. No ill will Mike, you seem very knowledgeable about tires not my specialty. I wasnt able personally to find anyone who would mount the tires I have on this truck on my stock set. The all stated they must have 8.5" and maybe they were just blowing smoke but it's what I experienced. Thanks for the comments and a time you've spent in your replies.

Yeah.....and maybe shops handle the mounting different in different states. That said, I have seen numerous trucks in Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma with 37 x 12.50 - 20 tires mounted on OEM factory rims.
Actually, I just recently found this tire size somewhat by accident. I was on the www.tiresize.com website and entered the size on the tire size "comparison screen". I use that screen along with the "gear-ratio- calculator screen".
I have this truck in a 2020. I'm putting a 4 inch lift on it and 37s . What do you think about using the stock wheels?
The stock wheels aren't wide enough to accommodate 37" wheels. They need to be atleast 8.5" wide I believe to be safely mounted. Hope that helps and dont forget to subscribe!!

Nitto makes the Trail Grappler in a 37 x 11.50 - 20 size and can be safely mounted on a OEM factory rim. Yes.......11.50 width...not 12.50. FYI - tires are NOT mounted on wheels......tires are mounted on rims...and the rim and tire are then attached to the wheel which is connected to the vehicle. Mechanics DO NOT rebuild motors......because motors run on electricity. Instead, mechanics rebuild engines...which run on fuel.

That is NOT cool.....especially if you are trying to get subscribers! Isn't the main point of having a TH-cam channel to educate and help people regarding products that consumers buy...along with the various choices, product combinations...what works and what doesn't work, etc??? The good, the bad and the ugly?
Virtually nobody likes to be wrong.....or called out and corrected when they are wrong. A certain amount of pride is healthy. The problem arises when pride is elevated too high in a person's ego. It is OK to be wrong......that is one of the ways we learn. The other ways we learn are by research, reading and hands on experience. There are many people who watch TH-cam videos on 4WD trucks, SUV's and Jeeps that have a vast knowledge of these vehicles.
You could have made a simple comment like -----> Hey, I was not aware of that tire size, recommended rim range.....and that is good information to know.

Not in any normal driving situation. If I turn it full to the right or left when going over a bump say turning into a driveway that's at an incline and going faster than normal it might hit a little as the front end depresses. That's pretty much the only time I've had or heard it rub at all.

I have a 17 platinum and debating wheel offset and width. I'm okay if the tires stick about an 1-1.5" pass fenders it just helps having a visual like yours.
