I lived in Vallejo, CA and was able to purchase this model at a gun show in Solano County in 2015. The FULL S&W M&P .40 that is NOT on the roster, cannot be purchased legally in CA.

This is not a problem unique to Readylift. Any lift without caster correction may result in bump steer or death wobble. Solid front axle coil spring caster adjustment is accomplished with a bushing that interfaces with the upper ball joint stem. Shim is not really a correct term for this part because it is actually an eccentric bushing but the marketing people call it a shim. Older vehicles with leaf springs in the front used an actual flat wedge shaped shim between the spring stack and the axle flat to roll the axle rearward. These bushings replace the factory bushing and come in fixed or variable degree increments. Double wishbone caster adjustment (F-150, Toyota etc.) beyond factory adjustment limit is achieved by replacing the upper control arms. If you take your F250 in for an alignment after you install your lift and they don't change the caster shim then they may not know what they are doing.

We also used electric motor pod clamps that use air suction, they work perfectly, no need to manually adjust the height of the two edges, the air pods flush them up perfectly, but the kit is expensive but works 😎

We use a router with 1/2” corian blocks on each side of a double fluted 1/2” straight bit, about 1” gap outside of the router bit, these blocks are glued to the router base, the bit is set back 1/32” shallow from the face of the blocks, this allows the adhesive overflow to be shaved down, this saves from chiseling it and possibly putting unwanted chips into the face side of the SS, makes for much less sanding too, just something that is efficient for our shop, good videos however

I have installed a 2” rough country leveling kit on 3 trucks all have been ford f250’s 2020 and up. I have never had any issues at all. As long as you already have a roughly 2” difference from the back to the front. It’s been 4 years and not one problem or malfunction
