- When looking for a luxury condo in Thailand, the idea of it being very expensive may have you thinking you can't afford a beautiful home. But I'm here to tell you that can't be further from the truth! Beach front condos in Pattaya are all over the place we know that, but every once in awhile you find a diamond among the gold. In today's video I'm taking you with me to Skypark Lucean in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya Thailand to show you what you can get for your money on your hunt for a cheap, beautiful condo here in Thailand! Let's go!

The Edge has rooms with the tub by the bay window that opens up to look at the ocean and downtown. If you stay on the 29th floor they have multiple rooms with them. Let me tell you, you bring a friend back with you the bubbles will start in under 2 mins 😂 I have some great memories and photos from those condos

Cooper's Thai Adventures does a lot of condo videos. Check out one of his, as he has a pretty good flow to these videos after doing them for a while. He is a Jomtien neighbor of ours as well & has a local real estate guy in many of his videos.

Yes after editing and watching the video back I realized I did not go much into the details of the amenities, my apologies as this is the first condo your I've done but I'll make sure to focus more on that in the future. But to answer your question yes, the property will include everything from multiple pools, work out areas, co-working spaces and there will also be space for retail on the ground floor. I apologize for the double comment but I had a question. Talking about purchasing a condo you mentioned the payments are much like a mortgage. I always assumed with condos that you must have the full amount in cash and they don’t have any way to offer “mortgage” payments. You have X amount down at contract signing. Then are you able to have long term payments? Say the two bedroom at $340,000 that would be a 10% down and then likely around a $1,800 a month mortgage payment depending on interest rate. Is it similar over there? If so this changes a LOT for my plans. Thanks dude, this really got my hopes up for a whole new plan when I move there if this is the case
Hey thanks for watching and commenting! I actually came home last night and I'm not sure this is EXACTLY true especially for forgieners. Just like a mortgage back home, one here also will include a bank. And to my understanding this can be much harder for a forgeiner to obtain, though not impossible. @@tempustvI was kinda thinking that would be the answer reaching out to them directly. I was thinking that somehow the property owner would be the one that covers and collects the interest of the mortgage. Would be a super smart move for any developer to do that and rake in way more money for the interest on the mortgage. Thanks man. Hopefully someone else knows more than us and comments. No you cannot get a mortgage. It means periodic down payments because this condo will take 4 years to build!
Wow. 2 bedroom condo 12.5 millon baht (almost $350.000 u.s.d). Thailand condos getting very expensive. Prices getting closer to u.s. prices. Thailand cost of living going up fast. Soon will not be affordable expats leaving and others ckoosing not to retire there.
I can agree that 12.5 mil isn't exactly "cheap." But I think it would essentially be impossible to find a condo that new, in a beach front location, in a building with those type of amenities almost anywhere in the US. I still believe that the money you do have is going to take you wayyyy further here in Thailand than it would back home. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙏👌
Given location and amenities, this same 2 bedroom would easily be in the millions Of dollars at any beach front American place. $350,000 will get you an apartment style condo in Vegas with 1 bedroom nowhere close to the strip. I know first hand on that cost for the Vegas condo. 2-story for most of the buildings and one is a 3-story. Literally looks like an apartment complex

To convert just go 25% of the Thai price and call it dollars. Its roughly about right, give or take but essentially just quarter the Thai price and call it Benjamins. The guy who repped the owners, Ramone, seemed a decent bloke and spoke hella good English, I betya he is a pleasure to do bidness with.
so....If the studio costs 4 million baht, just go quarter or 25% of that price and call it dollars huh? That's 1 million dollars right>? you sure your simple formula is accurate lol?
There will be very few people living there ...just rental investments like every other new build.
So people we all need to be realistic! Living like a king? Hell no! I’m in a older big 110sq meter 1 bed 1 bath huge balcony with a good view next to the big Buddha $23,000 Baht and I’ve been here from January 9 2024 so far I would say rough estimate for me single no woman/girl friend $1,600.00 USD Rent, utilities, phone, food and I drink so an easy $300 monthly for that not to mention some great Gonja and you can deduct that $300 from the $1600 I can order in from Grab cheap street food down the street cheap. Let’s not forget this is the absolute minimum and there’s plenty more. I would say that $2,400 USD is a perfect amount to make it having fun here and there wasting and yet still able to save for shit that happens and having a good time.
