When you said you blend paints after wash your brush , do you blend with wet brush or dryed brush ?
This method is so simple, it’s unreal. I just applied the first coat of 6:1 Shyish, and I’m floored by how natural it looks. Your buffing method is the first blending technique I’ve ever had success with. Thank you very, very much for making this! I’ll try it on other models in the future once my Gnashtoof is finished.

So happy I stumbled across this channel, you’re truly getting the best out of contrast paints . Your video has inspired me to paint my one of these as it’s been sat ready and waiting for months . Think I’ve just found my new favourite channel for painting tutorials . Literally yesterday morning I decided that I should paint things that I need to actually play and put away all the other stuff I'd started. Then this video appeared and suddenly my Warcry terrain somehow disappeared 😂

Thx to you for your work 🙂 Just a little question, when using the contrast medium 6:1 with shyish I got a little milky-white effect (not sure it is the correct word in english) on the gnashtoof skin, have you met such a weird effect with the contrast medium ?
My gnashtoof is primed and ready to go, so glad I found this brilliant vid. Quick question-would you get the same effect if you mixed the Magos Purple in with the DO flesh and contrast medium?

During the Magos Purple stage, you say with a clean brush, we want to lift some of that paint back off. But is that a washed and dried brush, or washed, but still wet? Thanks in advance.
This model reminds me of the Chaos Lord on Karkadrak from the Slaves to Darkness Start Collecting box, do you think you’ll pick it up at some point? Would love to see how you paint them!
I want to! In my plans for the second half of the year are things like Archaon and the Slaves to Darkness/Varanguard. Maybe just Varanguard. Varanguard are awesome! Okay I go get more minis xD

If i use gulliman flesh for gnashtoof skin instead of darkoath flesh, will it change the result really much ? Or maybe would you recommand to mix gulliman flesh with something so havé similar result ?
Great video! There is something I need to ask... since Grey Seer spray is extremely hard to find at the moment, can I replace it with something else? Mayby "normal" grey?
A sufficiently light grey could work, though I'd be tempted to try a white if you can't find a light grey rather than using a mid grey.

If you were to paint the Gnashtoof closer to a hyena, more sandy colour into orangey/brown, which contrasts would you go for? I'm aiming to use your process just different colours.
My Kragnos video might help you with the Orangey brown! Lots of Gore-Grunta Fur and Cygor Brown. I'd recommend checking that one out!

@@Warhipster Thanks, that makes sense as to why I can't find it! It's a great model. I'm just returning to painting after a 3 year break, there are so many good models now, plus these new contrast paints that were not around in my days make things so much easier!
@@Warhipster Found one on eBay, £10 on the sprue. No assembly instructions though, I'm hoping it's fairly straightforward to piece together. I don't have Greyseer, so will try the paintjob over the Wraithbone primer instead.

I wish I can find a good TH-camr guide like you but with a classic method :( as a starter, I have been hearing ppl saying that contrast is not the way to go and start, and all my friends all strongly recommend me against the contrast paint, but you are painting so much better than they are though ....
