It's a good replacement for the Pegasus Turbo which they stopped; the Nature version is horrible so I'm happy using the Streakfly as a tempo day shoe.

Absolutely nailed it Marcus. Friends of mine got a pair of each, I couldn't believe the difference in quality and feel. The streakfly is carbage and I don't use that term often, the Sen 8 is superior in every way. Your right in saying Nike need to step it up, I purchaed the 199 Nike Zoom tempo for half price and the 100 quid price tag was still 50 too much. Adidas are overtaking them again.
Thanks! Yeah lots of people are seduced by the swoosh. You make a great point about the cost of the zoom tempo. There’s so many shoes in the range, it all adds up!

1400v6 were really great. Feels weird to see this pair in carbon era. Though I still do my speed sessions in my 1400s

Haha 😂 yep for balance, I only rate one Nike shoe! And it’s not the hypefly shoe. Hopefully they can make a better version the next time!
Excited to get the takumi sen 9 on feet once the colorway i want drops in price. But i got the streakfly on sale for around $100 and at that price, i think its worth it. Really love the feel on faster runs. Not a marathon shoe, but the shorter distances… its kinda magic (for me).
Yeah that makes sense. As long as it works for you, and it’s a decent price, that’s the main thing.

What shoes would you recomend for fast 1k , 1.5k... the zoomx destroys the streakfly and the takumi sen 8 seems to fat in the midsole? Do you think sen8 could suit that role?
Hey! I’d say. Go with what you feel best in. Whilst I’d go for the sen8 I know it doesn’t work everybody

The shoe was made for 5 and 10k road racing? The Adidas is not cheap and made for 10k- half marathon. The Streakfly doesn;t have a carbon plate? There are alot of good reviews on the web of the Nike Streakfly. Racing flats and spikes are for the track and cross-country.
If you look on the adidas website it clearly states the Takumi Sen 8 is made for 5k to half marathons. So they are comparable.
The point about the cost isn’t fully accurate, because I’ve bought a pair of new Takumi sen 8s from a retailer for less than the cost of the streakflys.
When your talking about XC are you talking about UK or USA. If it’s UK winter club season, your a brave man to go for racing flats.
I did mention a good 5k & upwards shoe not Nike or adidas that doesn’t have a carbon plate in the video.
If you like the streakfly that’s fine, many people do. It doesn’t mean they are all right. But there are people like me who didn’t like it. And the same applies. That’s shoes for you, what works for one doesn’t work for another.
Now i need a mustard sandwich!

How's the nike for daily stuff? The stack height is similar to the rincon I use now and the weight reduction seems great for the summer.
For training and shorter speed work sessions, the streakfly would be ok. But I think there’s better or cheaper options. Whilst not an official survey, I ran the Westminster mile and I didn’t see anyone wearing the streakfly.
@@marcusruns9003 any suggestions? The endorphin speeds gave me tons of issues, otherwise those would be on my feet rn. Price also isn't a major issue.

For some reason, your sound (talking only) only works in one side of my headphones. I tested in case it's my headphones but both sides work with other videos and music. Your music is fine. Odd...
