Best review of the bike I have seen. The track test is essential on anything with that amount of grunt. And referencing back to the old Ducati SF's was interesting. Thanks.
Can attest to all the superlatives , I ve had nearly all the RR’s etc and this thing on road just monsters all of them , the trick is it’s ridability and compliance on road as opposed to bum in the air fighting with the bike all the time over poor surfaces , cambers , patch repairs on the tarmac , cats eyes , road markings and the odd man hole etc , you can make such huge progress across all surfaces and it never feels your on the ragy edge whereas on others you really feel yes your going bloody fast but always waiting for that buckaroo moment . The way the engine is tuned also gets you out of the corners faster , it’s just twist and go and it fires you out of the corners like an Exocet in any gear (almost) . Altogether I d say probably the fastest bike A-B on British road currently out there , and to top it off you get off after three hours of hooning around and feel you could jump back on and do it all again .
I watch many bike reviewers, stumbled on this and immediate subscribe. I liked the mix of actual review, POV riding and not taking it too seriously (we wanna see how much you enjoyed it!) cheers
Great review Chris, many thanks. I’ll be up to renew my old BMW S1000r in July and just not sure where to go next. Love the look of the Ducati and its versatility. I Commute (well did before Covid), I do half a dozen or so track days a year and ride just for fun. Decisions decisions. Looks like you had a blast.
This dude is really charismatic. I remember his review on the Indian FTR, since then I always stay tuned for his reviews. Though this bike is really awesome, I don't get the concept.
Another great review, top class and honest as always. The head to head with the KTM will be interesting. Look forward to that. (hopefully KTM will come out top 👍)
Thanks for the awesome review! Is there any chance that you guys could post the whole track day footage?........ I was loving just watching how it was on the track with so many other bikes around!
Ok so most of the bike is gorgeous but you would think Italian, bling they would put some nice rear sets on as the standard ones look crap! Yes they have a full accessory line up and know how to charge but for £20k you want the bling in Thant price! Just look at MV
Great video... I'm REALLY interested in your contrast between the SFv4s and the SDR. I'm a Ducati guy so of course want the Streetfighter... but I look at where it makes it's power and I'm not sure I'd ever be able to actually use it (without risking my license) on the road (and I'm a good haul from the nearest track). The SDR on the other hand makes insane amounts of midrange grunt that's available even at street legal speeds... so does that mean while I want the Duc, the SDR is actually a better choice for how I will use the bike 99% of the time. I imagine the outstanding Pani suspension is superior to the SDR's... but is it worth the (very substantial) price difference if you're not using all the motor has to offer because you like having a license?
he man, I just got of an 1290SDR an hour ago and I can tell you, awesome handling bike. But if you think about keeping your license, forget about it. There is nothing street legal on a SuperDuke. The midrange is indeed awesome but a slight twist of the throttle to pass a car will hurl you down a village road doing 80mph. That thing is mental. Haven't ridden the Ducati SF yet but both of em are are going to need a lot of restraint on your part.
@@flyingdutchy01 I found the SDR decently mannered around town on the test I took. Sure, the thing pulls like an absolute freight train when you open it up.
You guys are making the best reviews at the moment, kudos to Chris especially! Also, Ducati owe you a pint (of espresso?) since I'm getting a hypermotard 950sp delivered next week, and your review might have something to do with it ;)
He looks like he enjoyed the new Superduke more when watching his review of the KTM over this Ducati review. Be interesting to see how the comparison goes.
If I had the money, think I would opt for the Aprilia Tuono 1100 factory. Yes it needs a bit of face lift, but the sound is something to die for & 175hp is plenty for road riding. And much cheaper too.
Great to see that video and really looking forward to the comparison test with the ktm,, as you rode the wheels off them on the track,, did the ktm have more track focused tyres on it 🤔🤔☘️☘️
Nobody ever mentions fuel range on this bike in tests . I took one out and purposely brimmed the tank . Guess what , 76 fast road miles and fuel warning light on . My 2020 superduke 1290 gets 125/130 miles . Shame about that because I really liked the Duck but 76 miles . I think not
1. MV Brutale Dragster 2. Ducati Street Fighter 3. KTM Super Duke R Top 3 Best Looking Naked Bike. If you looking for Naked, only those 3 can make people heads turn.
Super Duke might be one of the best subjectively, but it definitely isn’t in the looks department with that monstrosity of a headlight. BMW S1000 looks better. Even a Kawasaki z900 or Honda Cb1000 arguably look better.
You know what would make a streetfighter better? Wings...front fairing...windscreen...oh wait, what happened to my streetfigher? Wings do NOT belong on a streetfighter.
Lets be honest here. The average punter riding this with his mate on a 6k MT07 would be no quicker on British roads on a sunday ride out. I really have stopped seeing the point of super nakeds over 120 bhp. Like the last of the 955i Speed Triples 20 years ago. Call me old fashioned, but.....meanwhile the affordable, just as enjoyable, on legal Brit B & A roads, 803cc 70 bhp Scrambler outsells this prolly 100:1.
I will tell you next week. Got a test ride planned with one and I am 6ft3. Apparently it's pretty high standard but there is a comfort seat option which brings it up another 20 mm.
The best Streetfighter V4 s review I've watched so far, thanks
Chris could ride a toaster and make it look fun. Best bike reviewer on YT imo.
Viet Tran S C
Hands down one of the best journalists in the industry! Keep up the good work
I'll be honest, as long as chris is the reviewer, i'll watching
What a great bike and what a great review, one of the best.
Being neither a KTM or Ducati fan, I am surprised I am waiting for Chris's back to back comparison.
So glad I found this channel.
Love your work 👍
Chris is the closest person to Keanu Reeves with all this love to motorcycles
Best review of the bike I have seen. The track test is essential on anything with that amount of grunt. And referencing back to the old Ducati SF's was interesting. Thanks.
Explaining while speeding? This man is the man 👏👏
Great review! No! The best review so far and I have watched them all on all languages!
Thanks, more to come as well.

Cheers Andy, we like to mix things up a bit.
What a great bike 🙏🙏👌 definitely on the list to own.
Excellent review, great bike
Great review, some cool track footage too!!!
Great review! I want one. 👍😎
Another great video Bike World!
I wish i could learn track riding from him😭
Ps- great review as always, Chris, we want you in every review 🔥
I don't care if he's reviewing a goddamn moped made by piaggio, I'm watching it.
Love a bit of Chris Northover, great review. Ordered a V2 last week as I prefer sports bikes, but this did cross mind!
“Wind protection” 🤣
Just watched your H2 review today 😎. Always had that Passion when you’re with Motorcycles👍👍.
Do u have a link
Safe to say you liked it. Good test, teasing me to think about buying one :)

Watched his super Duke 2020 review and I felt he is a happy soul on bike. 🤘
Enjoyed the track and road performance!
6:06 thought your camera feel off....
But you actually took the bike for a rollercoaster ride 🥂
I am not sure how good the bike is, but your review indeed is!!
Best reviewer ever
Chris 😍😍 lovely review, as always 😀👍👌
Chris makes a great presenter. Very upbeat and enjoyable to watch! The opposite of that other grumpy Bike World presenter... 😄
Perfect review as always! Looking forward to the super duke comparison.
Another great review, top class and honest as always. The head to head with the KTM will be interesting. Look forward to that. (hopefully KTM will come out top 👍)
Thanks for the awesome review!

We will be.
great stuff dude, really enjoyed the review.
That exhaust has a serious case of G-A-P-E ......

did you just jump a 208hp beast? 💪
Yep, he did.

HerrGeneral have you looked at the 44 teeth channel? 👍
He looks like he enjoyed the new Superduke more when watching his review of the KTM over this Ducati review. Be interesting to see how the comparison goes.
Was thinking the same thing!
Really nice video, congrats!
That sir is one nice bike terrific looking motorcycle
How’s the wind at the higher speeds at the track .
Just subscribed and liked your video thank you ..
I am also curious. Was it like a hammer repeatedly pounding your chest at the track and on the highway?
very clever cut at 2:00
I think you should also have The Aprilia in the comparison.
awesome bike awesome bike sorry had to say it twice
I have this bike with carbon wheels and race exhaust. Love it! Planning to get the KTM as well just to do quieter hooligan stuff.
Nice one! Looking forward to the KTM Duke comparison. Cheers.
Nice review! Is it easier to lean and drag your knee with this bike or with the Panigale V2?
Chris is the motoguy to watch, learn from and listen to
Very nice review
Good review
can't wait for the streetfighter v4s and superduke 1290r head to head comparison...
Waiting waiting for your pick!!!
Awesome machine
AWESOME....waiting for super duke vs streetfighter v4

Superduke 1290 was more raw and brutal he told us in the review of the1290🤙✊🔥
Hello everyone, here’s the question : on the road would you pick the Triumph Speed Triple RS 2021 OR the Ducati Streetfighter V4S 2021 ?
Who else hates to see the tags on the key ring flapping in the wind, scratching the paintwork? ;^)
Hi Chris, is that the trecastle road? Looks like it.
I didn't hear Chris giggling like he did during the 2020 SDR review. It was obvious he was having more fun on the KTM.
Hi did giggle!
Beast! Want one 😎
Nice review, £20k 😳It's not the greatest on the looks front either. V4 noise gives it a few points back 👍
Aprilia sounds better man and its soo much cheaper 👌
Couldn't hear the road part very well. Liked the rest of the review
I'll have one then, thank you.
I saw one of these at Brands yesterday evening
Chris is rad
it's a shame they don't sound the as good as the competition. How did aprilia get their V4 to sound sooooooo much better?
Great to see that video and really looking forward to the comparison test with the ktm,, as you rode the wheels off them on the track,, did the ktm have more track focused tyres on it 🤔🤔☘️☘️
No more neck brace Chris?
Why did you get rid of it?
This bike suitable for long covering distances and for family yes or no
Ride it with the Akropavic Titanium Race Exhaust /up map-220-HP
the handle bars are inspired from the scrambler. if am going to this much level i would rather get a full sports bike

It is a proper race machine. In the hands of capable rider it annihilates any inline4 out there.
Not against a Kawasaki H2R.
@@fyorbane 😅against the bike that's can't turn? Do you really believe that that dragster H2R can turn? 🤣 Boy green fans are deluded.
Awesome review. Who actually thumbed this down?
Bike world, Can we expect some dragraces from you?
Hope you enjoyed your pastie
LoL, I haven't heard of on Ducati that had a tight turning circle.
Neevsey reckons it doesnt want to wheelie. Anyone know any different?
1. MV Brutale Dragster
2. Ducati Street Fighter
3. KTM Super Duke R
Top 3 Best Looking Naked Bike.

Near miss at 1:25?😕 Should be have been left?
It was a bit close, that guy has commented on here some defending his move. Chris didn't give a shit though, he's a pro! 😜
Cant wait to get one used when they are closer to $10k.
Just buy a Z900 and spend the rest on training courses.
is that v4s doing wheels
My money is on the SDR for 90% of real world usage, and with more than $5,400 difference in price too
Looks like it washes out in the corner, ie cant really follow tight lines. So much for an expensive streetfigher with handlebars on track :P
1.23 fk that was close
I thought wales was closed?
Great review. I just think it’s a pity Ducati decided to use two plastic urine sample containers for the brake and clutch master cylinders 😂
Aw. I actually thought they were pretty sweet looking.
Kapan punya motor kayak gini 😢😢😭😭😭
You know what would make a streetfighter better? Wings...front fairing...windscreen...oh wait, what happened to my streetfigher? Wings do NOT belong on a streetfighter.

PLEASE DO A DRAG RACE OF 1290 SD AND STREET FIGHTER....WE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE IT.....😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Can’t wait to see if it fits 6ft 4 me 🤔
I will tell you next week. Got a test ride planned with one and I am 6ft3.
Apparently it's pretty high standard but there is a comfort seat option which brings it up another 20 mm.
Can you put clip ons on it?
Whats yer helmet model bud?
That's a custom Chris special Shark.
