I wanted to note that if you fail the first time around with stealing the scroll off her desk, you can flee combat and return and she will be fine, Behind her is a chest that if you break or steal will do the same!
You don't need to steal the only thing that matters is the temporarily hostile tag. I just turn on non lethal attacks and attack her without any dialogue to get the jump on her. Rescue Halsin and kill the other 2 goblin leaders right after this to complete his quest. The first time I did this I long rested before getting Halsin out of jail and Minthara woke up which broke his "kill the goblins leaders" quest. I looted her after I knocked her out without thinking about it and got a laugh when she was naked during the moonrise towers cutscenes.
Interesting! I had tried just straight attacking Minthara my first go around and she didn't show up in moonrise, figured I'd show the "safe" method for a tutorial, but it is pretty funny watching the moonrise scene after fulling looting her!
You can also attack someone like the floating eye when its patrol loop puts it in front of where she is talking with the goblin. You may even speak to her beforehand. But you cannot 1 reveal the location of the grove, don't free Sazza as she will tell her the location. 2 Do not agree to help and 3 do not select the ones that antagonize her and lead to a fight. Eventually it will give you the option to leave. It changes the dialogue when freeing her from prison when you enter her mind to convince her to lash out at her torturers. She will essentially go oh its you? Come to finish the job? The long resting part is what i find many guides people do leave out and it's a very crucial piece of advice to leave out. I always long rest at the end of the party at the camp. Haven't had an issue that she didn't show up in Moonrise and I have done it with two characters so far. Some have said that if you recruit her after Halsin that she and him will have a fight at which one will leave. But I always recruit her first before doing the quest that leads to Halsin joining the group. She actually gets inspiration when you recruit him.
I murdered the Grove when Nettie tried to poison me. Then I killed all the druids, I also killed Karlock she said she was pissed at me for killing the druids at the Grove. I told her she could join them in hell then proceeded to cut her down with a great sword.
I mean that's objective, I think Minthara is an awesome character with a cool back story, if it really wasn't built for it, it wouldn't be allowed, plus in act 3 they do not share a tent, I do agree that it's not perfect and Def needs some work, but it doesn't break the game at all, her romance can still happen, halsins quest works fine, they show up in the epilog together
@@IronStandingBearGaming Yeah her romance doesn't really start until Act 3. Act 2 is basically a good spot to get approval with her. There is allot of interactions that she does gain approval from in Act 2.

I assume you have to go at Moonrise early before you attack with the people from the Inn and possibly Nightsong?
Yes this needs to be done before Nightsong
I killed Minthara without knowing I could recruit her…gonna restart the game 😢
I did this ACCIDENTALLY! LOL

i've done every step correctly but during the moon raid, Minthara wasn't in the same room waiting. Is this a bug?
If Minthara wasn't at Moonrise, then you must have done something wrong. I've used this method twice, and it worked both times.
@@gaelangaudette9576 I'll complete the game the first time, then maybe try again. Thanks for the reply.
You need to fetch Minthara before the Moonrise raid. Otherwise she's already been killed by the gaolers.
I don't recommend it because the game isn't designed for this. She even occupies the same tent with Halsin.
