Ovechkin, Lucic and even Gudbranson would probably KO Chara easily, being super tall in a hockey fight is a disadvantage because the chin is so exposed. Look how Chara's opponent was able to absorb the shots so easily because of how he was shorter, his helmet blocked 90% of the open angle and the chin wasn't exposed at all. Chara's not even that strong compared to the other fighters in the league. He's smart, doesn't put a target on his back and plays the gentleman's game. Would hate to see him get laid out he's so tall it would be awful.

Chara is such a worm. He'll stand and trade punches with a guy he knows he's got the advantage over. But with a guys like Laraque he goes for the tackle right away.

When you have a wingspan of an actual airplane, you don’t have to be good at fighting.
That's not true at all. You have to be extra good. Your balance will be a LOT worse and your strenght has to be distributed over a larger area.
