that fish you ate is called a Pearl Spotter.( Karimeen in local lingo). Its a brackish water fish, white meat and a lot of bones. its best eaten grilled or fried as whole fish and they also do steam it in a banana leaf with a lot of the local spices.

And u even didn't visit himalayan states like himalchal pradesh, kashmir, sikkim. And then the modern india like hitech cities like gurugram, hyderabad,pune, surat,bangalore etc. There r many many many more. So dont even think u covered more than 1%, I really mean it. If u think so then just open detail india map, u will understand.
