Next time, please visit the north and north eastern parts of India. Like Ladakh and the seven sister states. There's a lot less people there so not a lot of noise or pollution, and they're full of beautiful natural landscapes, like rivers, waterfalls and mountains like the Himalayas. It's beautiful.

Kalyana (wedding) choru (rice) it is served in weddin/special occasion. Chicken Ulli (onion ) molaga (chilli) Nulla (string) porotta Paripu curry ( yellow lentil gravy) Kerala Papad (Kerala crispy) to add crunch and texture to gravy rice.
Food from Kerela and Tamilnadu are not spicy in general. Originally, food from these two states have a balance of all flavours rather than higher spice levels. More palatable for everyone. Our food dishes may not be the most famous among the people from the west but definitely the most underrated ones in India. Jackfruit and mangoes go hand in hand they both are richly produced during the monsoon season. This fruit is richly available in south India and many other tropical climates. But Kerala has variety of Jack trees. These trees are so fertile that they bear fruits even on their roots. Also mango trees grow here in many varieties. But what ancient people say is that Jackfruit is a food because it takes longer time to digest in our body and Mango is a dessert that helps it to digest. So it is important to know when to eat what first. That is why in olden days people made chakka appams as breakfasts during the jackfruit season. At the same time made jackfruit chips and preserved it till the winter especially till Christmas. That is why if you observe South Indian Christians gift jackfruit chips to neighbors and loved ones along with sweet diamond cut chips, banana chips and plum cakes during Christmas.

Food from Kerela and Tamilnadu are not spicy in general. Originally, food from these two states have a balance of all flavours rather than higher spice levels. More palatable for everyone. Our food dishes may not be the most famous among the people from the west but definitely the most underrated ones in India.

Jackfruit and mangoes go hand in hand they both are richly produced during the monsoon season. This fruit is richly available in south India and many other tropical climates. But Kerala has variety of Jack trees. These trees are so fertile that they bear fruits even on their roots. Also mango trees grow here in many varieties. But what ancient people say is that Jackfruit is a food because it takes longer time to digest in our body and Mango is a dessert that helps it to digest. So it is important to know when to eat what first. That is why in olden days people made chakka appams as breakfasts during the jackfruit season. At the same time made jackfruit chips and preserved it till the winter especially till Christmas. That is why if you observe South Indian Christians gift jackfruit chips to neighbors and loved ones along with sweet diamond cut chips, banana chips and plum cakes during Christmas.
