Life is busy when one is at home, and things tend to get even busier when one is away on a typical vacation. In a break away from it all, Sree and I sign up for a week-long wellness holiday at Amal Tamara, a sylvan ayurvedic retreat located in the idyllic backwaters of Mannancherry, Kerala. Visited Kerala a few weeks ago with my boss. We stayed at World Backwaters, Allepy and then at Lakesong, Kumarakom. While both were serene and rejuvenating, the former was simply one of a kind. In fact we stayed at Arya Vaidya Sala for 3 weeks in March 2023 and the entire day from 8 am in the morning till 5pm in the evening it was a busy schedule with different Oil and lep, enigma et all treatments. Post treatment sleep is a must to get full benefits of the treatment.

Vlog is useful but this ayurveda resort is looting in the name ayurveda.
Please avoid such places high price and in the name of ayurveda.. hope they have doctors.. another scam and show off to cheat people.. please check there very beautiful places and help people who deserve it. This buisness people make money and this not cost so much charges per day... 😢

I will be going to Kerala soon at one of the wellness centers where I would stay for probably a month if they let me:) I have had a day-long oil therapy where they pour oil on the head, a body massage, etc but not the whole week so I am very much looking forward to staying at one of these retreat centers!!! Please do share your experience if you stayed at one of the places in India!!! Be well!!-namaste and Peace!!

So interesting to observe people eating nuts so casually on a flight we can’t here in North America due to nut allergies sadly they don’t serve them on flights anymore
Yeah I heard from my son some are allergic to nuts. But here in bangalore we have nuts all the time whenever we feel like eating that too in all flavors and colors red green yellow spicy and sweet coated. Hope you guys too can eat sometime

I am seriously considering visiting kerela Ayurvedic centre with a pool. I love mountains and water. Please give recommendations. This place looks very tranquil I like the fact it has a small number of guests.

Beware of dengue fever
visited Kerala and stayed at a heritage resort called Kayalarom it was excellent hade the best fish grilled , then had the best biryani in Munnar , went site seeing to the dam and the scantuary best spices and great food drove all the way from one to Kanyaumari and had a blast had a few therapies their as well came back rejenuvated
