What does preposition A mean in English and when and how to use it? In this episode I show you different meanings and use of preposition A (preposição A) in European Portuguese as well as I present to you its different forms that it has with articles.
All lesson is full of examples so that you can learn Portuguese grammar fast and easy!
This is lesson lesson 46 dedicated to beginners.

@@edwardwiafe224 Hi, sorry I took me quite long to respond. Ao+verb=gerund (ex. ao trabalhar we can translate as (while) working) whereas a+trabalhar (without any other verbs around) means (let's) work. It can be said Ele ficou muito nervoso ao falar or Ele ficou muito nervoso falando (but this is Portuguese from Brazil). I hope that now you aren't more confused ;)

Um A, different meanings in every sentences.... that's why, Portuguese also not speak 100% correct Portuguese, i think no one can speak, Earlier I used to think that English was the most difficult language, now i realised english is very simple and easy language...
