    Olá Bea Quando comecei a aprender português, ficava frustrada com o número de contrações. Tudo o que posso dizer é que você apenas tem que ficar com ele e praticar de forma consistente e gradual antes de perceber que tudo começa a se encaixar. Obrigado.

      As contrações entre preposições e artigos acabam por assustar muitos alunos, visto que uma única preposição acaba se desdobrando em muitas, o que muito me lembra os monstrinhos do filme Gremlins 😅

    Hello!
    I understand that days of the week require a definite article. In the case of routine events, the example shows "Às Segundas.." but in the case when speaking about an end to a time period "...trabalha de segunda a sexta" how come De is not Da and A is not À in this case when days of the week are present in the sentence? Thank you!

      *A* Mariana sounds correct.
      Is Ezyè a female name? Sorry for asking, but it is not common in Brazil. If it is a female name, then *a* Ezè is correct! 😊
