Thank you for your easy instructions. And I must say, I was quite tickled when I saw you put cans of Ginger Ale in the corners of your blocked blanket. So down to earth and just real.
I love this stitch! I’m making a blanket for my first grandchild. With my arthritis this is very forgiving!! Thank you for your very easy to follow tutorials!❤️
I just found this video… I notice it’s 4 years old…I don’t know where I’ve been all these years thinking this is a new way of crocheting but I see it’s not…very instructional video I’m going to try it..Love the way you explained it..hope your still casting on You Tube..❤️
Hello this is the first time I have ever seen your tutorials on TH-cam. I want to do some Tunisian crocheting and you happen to pop up. Thank you very much because you made it seem very simple and very easy to do. I will be following you from now on, I hope you have a very blessed New Year
Love the look of this blanket! I know you said you used a doubled up baby weight yarn- could you please tell us which yarn and colorway you used..Love it
You can make long strips on a shorter cord and then piece them together. It kind of a crochet together as you go. There are some good videos on how to do that.
I'd never heard of this style of crochet until I watched this video. Wow, I can't wait to try it! I've had a long crochet hook, but never knew what I could use it for. Thank you for the tutorial. As soon as I'm done making the baby blanket that I'm working on now, I'll be trying to make one like this, I love it! This is my first time making a giant granny square blanket, is that an afgan? I just crochet and see what comes up, but am trying to expand with patterns, etc. Thanks again for the tutorial. 👍🏻
Can you do a short tutorial video on how to do the 100 chain? For some reason I am struggling. There's only sample videos and never a complete video. Thanks.
I can’t figure out how to do more than a washcloth because I struggle to hold on to the hook with more stitches on it, I feel like it just skips around on me. I would really love to see a video of someone doing 100 stitches and how to hold the hook. Your video is wonderful. Thank you.
You rock ..You made my day ..i just order tunsision crochet hooks with long cords i paid 15 bucks for a few ..i think that the cords is tubing ..I hope they are good ...Thanks so much ..I am going to make this blanket ..merry christmas and be safe and feel good happy new year ..u truly made my day
Another question from a rookie, once washed and blocked, does it mean that everytime you wash it, you need to block it again or we can just put it in the dryer machine so it won't roll on anymore ?
I only have the long aluminum hooks, so I would imagine I can only go as long as the hook. Do you have to make multiple panels and stitch then together to make a large blanket
There’s an extension type thing with the Tunisian crochet hook on amazon and other places where it’s the normal hook but instead of a stopper it has a plastic tubing to hold the stitches and give you more room. Unless you do like making panels, which you can use an invisible stitch to place them together
I been wanting to do this so I pulled out my hook today and I tested myself and I did good at making a potholder. Now I want to make a baby blanket but I don't have the hook with the extension.
I literally taped a narrow tube to the end of my crochet hook and tied a knot in the other end. It's a bit rough working over it, but good enough for learning purposes until you're ready to invest in something better.
Hi hi, I’m looking to make a queen sized blanket using this stitch. Will the crochet hook run out of space ? Or do u need to push the stitches out to the cable for that kind of length ?
If it looks ruffly, you may be doing too many stitches. Be sure you're going just in the spaces when she says to, and only in every stitch when she says to.
Hi thanks for the tutorial. Sorry for the silly question. I have a Tunisian crochet hooke that appears like a knitting needle. Is it possible to carry out the above project with that? .
Beautiful!! Thank you for the great tutorial. Wondering if this type of crocheting use more or less yarn than regular kind of crocheting? Say maybe a half double stitch??
I keep on looking at something that looks like a booboo on it. Around the top left. The vertical bars are so noticeable but it looks like one or two stitches went wonky. I would love to make a blanket but I would be afraid I would make a mistake and not know how to fix it.
Linda Lou I’ve been trying the different ways I’ve seen on tutorials and I still get the curl 🤷🏾♀️ don’t know why larger hooks same hook as the yarn ball said to use even loosen my stretches same thing 🤷🏾♀️ , I’m not giving up I love the pattern.
@@hugettewatson2789 it's similar to stockinette stitch.. It's just something it does. I've grown quite fond of both stockinette stitch and Tunisian stitch along with the traditional curl..lol
OMG that's the tiniest cutest little skein of yarn!
Thank you for your easy instructions. And I must say, I was quite tickled when I saw you put cans of Ginger Ale in the corners of your blocked blanket. So down to earth and just real.
Thank you so much. I have been wondering about the curling. That’s a relief.

Very sweet. So are you saying that if I needed a large blanket for a king size bed that all the chains will fit on that cord?
Love the look of this blanket! I know you said you used a doubled up baby weight yarn- could you please tell us which yarn and colorway you used..Love it
Really good tutorial. Thank you so much. Will be starting my blanket next week when I receive my Birthday yarn present.
I have a rookie question, for a kind soul. :) How do you make a large blanket? Do you just need a longer cord attachment thingy? Thanks!
Yeah :) as long as you have a long enough cord for the amount of stitches you want, you can go to town
Chain 200 on the longest cord you can find.
@@bethg.5611 Thankyou. I’m a rookie too.

Where can I find the pattern...it's not on the site given 🙄

Holaaaa muy bonita y novedosa genial gracias por compartir 😍👏👌👍🇲🇽😇🙏😘🌻❤️
You should do a video on your filming set up and lighting! Love the video, I’m going to try this out, I really love how Tunisian crochet looks.
Where can I buy a hook like your using? I have checked many places and can’t find one.

I bought my hooks on wish.com and they have the cord attached to them I'm able to make a king size quilt
Tunisian interchangeable with swivel cords. Clover and tulip, ChiaoGoo, and many others. Look for swivel cords
Beautiful, yet simple to tunisian crochet.
Nice love 💘 like learning new stich. S happy thanksginviing from my family to yours
Do you have a link to the pattern?
Thanks for this tutorial atlast something that i understand
I made a back panel for the scarf with this method.thank you
do i have to weigh it down after each time i wash the blanket??
How many skeins would you use for a full baby blanket? (100 stitches by 100 stitches). Thanks!
Do you have a link to where your Tunisian needles with the cords and where to get them?
Well done… Lots of good information ..especially for new crocheters.
Love the stitch pattern. Will the blanket curl up again every time it’s washed?
not if u crochet a boarder around it.
Do u repeat row two and three or just two new to crocheting
What brand of hook did you use please?
Love this! The link to this pattern is broken.
If you work it like this: TPS 1, TKS 1, TPS 1, TKS 1 etc your work won't curl at all (TKS = Tunisian Knit Stitch; TPS = Tunisian Purl Stitch)
How do you do the purl stitch? Could you link a good video tutorial. Tunisian crochet tutorials that are helpful can be hard to find.
@@sydney9204TLYarns. She is the queen’s of Tunisian crochet. She even teaches how to make easy sweaters
Can I ask what kind of hooks you’re using. I finally found some I like that are smooth, but the tail isn’t as long as yours. Thank you
How many chains do you make for a baby blanket?
Curling is just not reducing?? How do I work upon it
Can you tell me what brand hook you are using? I am looking for a good one. Thank you
I am doing my 1st project and the edge is curling up
Any suggestions on remedy?
I love this crochet Tunisian pattern
Can u use just a 5.5mm us 9 needle

Where did you get the interchangeable cable hook set?
Knitter's Pride KP900586 Bamboo Interchangeable Tunisian Crochet Hook Set
I'm curious why you didn't cast off to finish the Tunisian crochet portion before doing the border.
I love that color
How do you stop it from curling
The written pattern isn’t on your website. 😢
Awesome show!
do you have a link to where you can buy the crochet hook you are using
How do you change colour?
Can you do single crochet as a border for a tunisian simple stitch blanket?
Nice blanket, how i wish it can be done with just a normal crochet hook😘
Do you have any info on where to get the hooks and chain, pls? Thank you!
@studiocrafti links are expired now. Could you post the pattern for this blanket?
Thank you for the video. I'm a newbie tunisian crocheter, may I please ask how many skeins of yarn did you use for the large blanket? ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ♡
wonderful tutorial. Do you have any other stitches you can teach that are Tunisian??
Hi hi, I’m looking to make a queen sized blanket using this stitch. Will the crochet hook run out of space ? Or do u need to push the stitches out to the cable for that kind of length ?
You will need a very very long cable. This may also take a very long time using this kind of stitch for a blanket so large
How can you make the stitches loose
Where did u get the Tunisian crochet books.
Great teacher.
Very good video!
Did you use bernat yarn in twinkle? I used the same yarn for a c2c blanket
How did you get so many stitches on your hook?
Can you tell me approximately how many stitches the cable will hold ? I want to make a Full - Queen size blanket 😊 Thank you in advance
Studio Crafti Thank you so very much !!
@@StudioCrafti first time doing this stitch, is it done in blocks only? Or do you use the extenders to make a blanket of twin/queen size? Thank you
I have brought a hook without the cord I got the regular one
What I do for blocking is use a steam iron. I just have the iron about an inch or so away from the blanket and let the steam ghost over it.
Is there a trick to making the border so it is not wavy? I think I am accidentally making my border too loose so it looks ruffled a bit.
If it looks ruffly, you may be doing too many stitches. Be sure you're going just in the spaces when she says to, and only in every stitch when she says to.
How do you keep the simple stitch from curling up

Hi I. Noticed the 2 wonky stitches too.
Are there longer hooks for bigger blankets?
That’s when you use a hook with a cord /cable so it can hold additional stitches
i carved my own out of log of wood, and attaches 2meter clear hosing.
Is that for your baby?
Thank u
Did you just make two tog, or is just me?!
