If I may say, Tunisian crochet is tight so it is recommended to go up in size. Always chain loosely and for a better and clear bottom, I use the back bumps. The reverse SC in Tunisian is called also the return pass for those who are new. Tunisian crochet works always in 2 rows the forward pass and return pass. I have a set of Denise Tunisian hooks which are interchangeable. Sorry for my rant but I learned the hard way with Tunisian crochet. Thanks for this nice blanket. It reminds me of an ice cream with dry fruits and "booze " from my country.
I have been crocheting since I was young but I came across your channel. Your beautiful confetti blanket caught my eye. As I watched your video I decided to give Tunisian crochet a try. This was a great tutorial. Very simple but precise instructions and very easy to follow. I am currently working on my first sinus blanket with stitches and I am absolutely loving it. Thank you so much for this video and I look forward to learning new projects. 😊
Hi, on the edging of this blanket I would like to do a tutorial on it all the way around the blanket. I like how you explain it, but I take a little longer to get it. I think you’re awesome!😊
This is very clearly explained! Nice pace as well. Thank you for sharing this! I want to try Tunisian crochet and absolutely plan on using your video for the tss stitch! 👍😁😁💚💚💚💚💚💚
You definitely move the yarn much like you would in knitting. Mainly because you have to slide it all back and forth along the tunisian hook. But SO FUN! :) I'm so excited you signed up!
these are the exact ones I used. I like them for blankets as there's no risk of the interchangeable tail coming unlocked. they're also great quality and really inexpensive! amzn.to/2GuiszM
@@Yarnhookneedles thank for letting me know where to get the hooks from and making the video. For me I was iffy about trying Tunisian only because I'm disabled from a stroke so I crochet kinda weird lol. But your video was so easy to learn. I used a long hook to see if I can do it and I can so I will try to buy the ones next month hopefully I can afford to get them after I pay everything. Thank you again.
Laura Allen my pleasure! I’m so glad you were able to work through it inspire of the stroke. That makes my heart so happy to know you can enjoy your craft! I pray you continue to strengthen and recover! 💕💕💕
The bigger your blanket is the more engaged the tail is. For a baby blanket it's not going to take up a lot of space. However for a throw size, it's going to use up a lot of space on the tail.

I found you very easy to follow. Your an excellent teacher. Thank you! I’m going to try this. First time for everything. 😂
I love this pattern! I would really love if you could create a video that shows more on how to fully do the edging, all the way around.
Yes that is what I would like too

Very nice . I love Tunisian crochet
I'm new...what I don't get is how to make a big blanket. Are the cords long enough to make an adult blanket? Or do you make sections and connect them?
Trying to figure that exact same thing out
New to this my blanket seems to be curling any tips?
Thank you for this video, very well explained
I just started learning the tunisian crochet. This is very good tutorial. Thank you❣
You’re welcome 😊

Hi, I bought your PDF and I don’t know how to download it. Can you please help out. Thank you in advance.
I was able to download PDF pattern.
What is the multiple for this pattern?.
So the hook size you’re using is an “L”/8mm? I don’t see below any reference of the types of hooks you say you like, or maybe I’m blind, lol.
I love this, l just hope l can do it!
I'm here to help and so are so many other makers! We'll be your cheerleaders!
@@Yarnhookneedles Thank you!
@@Yarnhookneedles l did it! I love it!
Why does my work curl so much? Will it get better when the border is on?
Totally want to learn Tunisian. I may give this a try! Very nice ❤️
Go for it!
I signed up for the course but the welcome video doesn’t work.
Thank you for this video. It sort of looks like you move the yarn more than the hook. I just signed up for your email course. Thank you!

Aw man….. is the giveaway over? 😝 😂
Интересный узор, у меня есть схемы с узорами
I agree about the name! They should consider renaming it Confetti!
Hi, i still dont understand the purpose of the string, i saw u just use the hook without involving the string at all

I’d prefer to see this on the actual blanket.
Great video on the basic stitch, but when it comes to the boarder, it is horrible! You are basically saying to "pretend" there are stitches there? 😂
❤❤
This is wayyy over-explained - and I'm a beginner!
I wish the video had chapters so I could skip thru
You talk a lot
