RICOH GR IIIx POV Photowalk - UZUSHIO CRUISE [うずしおクルーズ] of NARUTO STRAIT (Vibrant Teal)・JAPAN

This Photowalk takes place on the Naruto Channel (鳴門海峡), cruising on the Nippon Maru (日本丸) to view the whirlpools of Naruto Strait (鳴門海峡の渦潮).
The Naruto Channel stretches beneath the Onaruto Bridge, which connects Awaji Island with Shikoku. Renowned for its rough tidal currents, counted among the world's three preeminent tidal currents, this area is famous for the whirlpools forming at sea level when these tidal currents combine with the area's unique topography. In particular, the massive whirlpools seen during the spring and autumn tides measure some 20 meters in diameter, making them some of the largest in the world. This mysterious natural phenomenon can only be seen here.
The Uzushio Cruise is your chance to experience these awe-inspiring whirlpools up close. This cruise has two ships in service: the Kanrin Maru, a restoration of Japan's first steam sailing ship to successfully cross the Pacific Ocean, and the Nippon Maru. This pleasure cruiser sailing ship casts a beautiful reflection of its pure white hull against the blue sea. Both ships are spacious and comfortable, with little sway and stable sailing, ideal for both children and the elderly alike. This cruise is filled with captivating scenery, including thrilling up-close views of the sea surface swirling to form whirlpools and breathtaking views of the Onaruto Bridge and Fukura Port from the sea. This 60-minute cruise offers spectacular views and is not to be missed! When descending at Fukura Port, you will be greeted with various restaurants, stores, footbaths, and other facilities.
I set my Ricoh GR IIIx in Snap Distance Priority to a Snap Priority Distance of 2m. The AE Metering was Multi-segment. I shot in RAW and JPG (Vibrant Teal from Ricoh Recipes).
I decided to show all the photos even though some should have been deleted because I felt it's important to always show the good, the bad, and the ugly (e.g., completely blurry photos) in my run-and-gun style photo walks.
