Spark Amp Tutorial audio recording quality demo

- In this video I demonstrate the audio quality I am getting with my current setup. This is not useful as an instructional video for anyone, merely just a meta video for me to show how well I am capturing the audio from the Spark. I record a bit of myself playing, then I play that recording back and record on top of it to hear the difference in quality from the original recording against myself playing live.
For one small moment I thought that you had the app running on a laptop - number one on my wish list is to have a native Windows app for the Spark, ( highly unlikely I think) I really don't want to have to buy another new device that will be out of date before I can say "I love my Spark amp". For now I am using my iPhone 8.0 but I have heard murmurings of issues with the iPhone 12. Do you have anything on iPhone 12 compatibility yet?
Anyway, looks like you are building a really nice channel for us Sparkies out there. I'll have to remember to plug your channel on mine when I'm next talking about the Spark on my channel. Keep up the good work buddy.
Thanks!!! I just got my iPhone 12 pro last week but I usually use my iPad (with a case that makes it look like a laptop). I’ll try it with my phone and let you know! FWIW - I’ve had that iPad for 4 1/2 years now, and it’s still going strong!
@@sparkamptutorials2169 Thank you and good news about your iPad. Mine just just a few months too old. It would only install the iOS release right up to the one I needed for the app. So annoying but I get on OK with it in the phone.
I am very interested about the iPhone 13 though. A few people have asked me but I still don’t have a definite answer.

@@SypherLXVII-MySixStringJourney hey there! Good news! No issues on my iPhone 12 pro. I QA’ed for about 15 mins or so and didn’t run into any problems with it. Hope that helps!

Just looking at the opening shot of the tablet in Landscape format reinforces that at the moment iOS is far superior to Android. I went cheap with an Android tablet under $100 and would do it again, but the app is just far superior in Landscape vs Portrait mode and it would be great if the app could be improved for the Android users in the very near future.
It really is nice to have landscape mode...
Do the amp models and effects show up as plugins or is what you print what you're stuck with?
