Conor Benn has boxed absolutely no one and never won as much as an Area Title. The fact Hearn & Matchroom are so desperate to cash in on this fight shows how little faith they have in his actual ability. He's the biggest hypejob in British boxing history.

Benn has fought at a much higher level than area title though, he's beaten a former world champion in CVH and someone that fought for world titles in Algieri.
The British champ at welter is Harry Scarff that would be a complete mismatch. Would be interested to know if you can name 2 British welterweights that are active and better than Benn? Or just 3 British Welterweights total?
Absolute waffle 😂 I say this as someone who doesn't like Conor Benn at all. But to say he's fought nobody is not true, he was starting to fight decent level fighters and was winning comfortably. Doing great for his age until all the drug cheating came out.
Benn and Eubank were both capable of world level, Eubank didn't take it serious enough and it's too late, Benn still could be a world champion at the right weight - he's. It beating Crawford or Spence but when they retire if he improves why not.
The only thing the public have been demanding is Conor get a ban for drug cheating.

I actually completely agree with simon on this-it’s not what the people want. If Benn is serious, he should focus on becoming a world champion and avoid any side quests until he achieves that.

Eubank jnr has failed at 160 and has never won a world title he is clearly looking for easy money, he ducked Golovkin had the chance to fight 160 champ janibek but swerved that fight had anther chance to fight Canelo but admitted he avoided the fight but his eyes light up on the prospect fighting a unproven welterweight at 160 both fighters are British level Benn is not even the best at his weight class they wont be getting a dime from me that's for sure!
Eddie Hearn is smart enough to know that Benn has already peaked as a fighter. Eubank Jr is talented but knows that he’s past his prime. Cash both these guys out because this is as good as it gets.

Simon really bugs me but is correct. I would say it's actually even more ridiculous than 2 weight differences. Eubank is struggling to make 160 and really should be at 168 whereas Benn looks solid at 147 and could probably still make 140. Naturally there is at least 20lb difference. I totally understand Eubank wanting Benn as I think it's clear now he isn't interested in taking Sheeraz (the obvious fight) and is looking at a 'cash out' before retirement and has as much chance as getting Canelo as I have. Now Benn on the other hand has 2 beatable champions at 147 in Stanionis and Barrios even if they won't make him huge $, Boots looks too good but hasn't been really tested, he should be aiming for world titles now and the money can come later.
Too much hard work and dedication for Benn to do that.

Connor Benn vs Eubank is a great fight that makes total sense. He's undefeated but not fought at the highest level, but I would give Harlem a real chance of an upset
