The 991 gen 1 versus 991 gen 2 911 Carrera GTS! Which one do you like more? Contact me directly at contactalexanderdep@gmail.com or 561-532-7150 #porsche #porsche911 #gts
I must say Alexander, nobody does a better job at explaining the details & differences of the 911s as you do. If you are a true car lover then a 911 is a must own at least once in your life as they are truly unique & a piece of automotive history. As they said "A weak concept brought to brilliance"
Hi Alexander. Your walk around videos are really helpful to learn about the different options and models. It helped me to order my own car. With regards from Australia.
Well done video! Considering when I bought my GTS, I had a choice between a used 991.1 or a new/used 991.2. I chose the 991.1 normally aspirated model although I am fully aware of the advantages and sometimes disadvantages of the turbos on the 991.2. In fact, I just got to drive the 992 with PDK at the Porsche Track Experience. Nice but it confirmed I had made the right choice. Plus when I bought, it had to have a manual and they are hard to come across. So I bought a 3 year, 1 month old 2015 911 Carrera 4 GTS 7-speed manual with a mere 98 miles on it. So I basically bought a new car and one I could no longer buy new (it was 2018) that came with a year factory warranty and CPO. Plus it came with $45,620 in Porsche factory options and Expel film. It is parked next to my 993.
@@AlexanderdePooter just watched all the speedster videos. I am going to.own one of.those . I like the Heritage design but would rather just have an all GT silver instead of the white paint.
In my humble opinion the 991.1 is a better looking car, and indeed a better can with that NA engine. Cleaner, with more classic 911 lines that don't try to look too aggressive.
Dear Der Das Die, Wow, challenging question. For now I would say: 1. Porsche Carrera GT 2. Porsche GT2 RS (991.2) 3. Porsche Taycan Turbo S 4. Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe 5. Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997.2)
Excellent presentation! 5 mos ago I acquired a 2016 GTS Manual Trans in Sapphire Blue Metallic with 17.6k miles. Took over 2 years to find this manual GTS in 991.1 series. No idea how many Porsche produced, but they seem to be rare, especially in this color. For me, the only item on the 991.2 preferred over the 991.1 is the black lower lip on the 991.2 front bumper. Easy to replace and no paint needed.
Thanks Alex. I just wanted to point out a stunning video I just saw on youtube of a Crayon 2021 Porsche 911 Targa 4s by Visual Car Reviews. Check it out.
991.1 will be going up in value vs the 992. The engine sounds is so much better than the 992. 2016 is the last naturally aspirated car so these values are going to start to climb!!!
Miami blue color has to be the ugliest color for this car, especially in combination with black wheels which make the car look like a car with cheap wheels and no hubcaps

Thanks Alexander, the best gen 1 v gen 2 review on youtube.
2015 Porsche GTS naturally aspirated engine. A future classic
Dear Jason, very likely
I completely agree with you Jason, especially with the manual gearbox.
I agree. The NA will increase in value and with an aftermarket exhaust they sound so good.
People were crazy about turbo 911s and now you have them at all trims. They are crying for a NA. Hmmm

Thank you so much Arty
Great content, thanks for sharing all of your knowledge on these beautiful cars.
Rick
I have owned both (991.1 and 991.2) sold the .2 and now have .1 much better
Why?

Would love to see a video of a 2019 speedster if you get one in. I believe those will skyrocket in a few years.
Dear Ed, we have delivered multiple but have never had a pre-owned since. Check out some of my older videos to see the Speedster.
@@AlexanderdePooter Yes will do. Next time I am in Florida will have to go look at your Porsche museum, I mean show room.

The GTS is a special car to drive ✌️
Alexander, on the website the silver one is Porsche Certified - but not the blue one. Is the blue one Porsche Cetified?
Dear Brian, the Miami Blue one is not Certified.
I'd like a 991 v 992 comparison. I can usual tell from the 992's headlights and the rear full length taillight.
Dear J D, I’ll def try to do so when I have a 992.
