Im embarrassed to admit (being slightly a older guy - HUGE car fan) - but I actually have a ritual before I sit down and watch you guys. I find a place where I can hide (i have kids and a wife) and actually turn my phone off - and then proceed to watch the entire review. You guys are amazing - you are probably what all your other fans (including me) wanted to do in life but yet you guys got up and did it. You guys are almost cult status and should go on tour. You should offer a option for your fans to join you on reviews - Keep the reviews coming and thanks for being the BEST of the BEST !
You guys one upped Top Gear/Grand Tour by just putting one headphone on and calling each other for communication instead of using walkie talkies. The little things lol. Amazing review
As a new (1 week) Carrera T owner, this is clearly the best review on the Interwebs. Excellent scripting, editing and spot-on on every detail about this unique variant of 911. I tend to agree with nearly all your subjective opinions and spec'd my black T exactly as you suggested except with the standard seats since I'm >50 and daily driving. I call it my $100K (US) go-cart too.
I think this was one of the best car reviews I have ever seen. It was extremely cool when you were talking to each other while sitting in different cars.
Awesome video. I bought a yellow T with regular brakes and regular seats. Traded in my 991.2 GT3 with carbon fiber seats. CF Seats are super uncomfortable. GT3 has too much power for daily driving. Personally i think T is better then GT cars including GT4 which i have owned as well. I have an F12 and the carbon fiber seats in that car are awesome. Until Porsche makes adjustable comfortable carbon fiber seats i would never spec them. Awesome video. Thanks
Totally agree! Sport seats, manual, no sunroof. My Miami Blue dream car. Better than all of Porsches GT cars and way more usable being a 4 seater. Carrera T is THE best 911 ever. Period!
Awesome, i was contemplating whether i should get a 4 seater or 2 seater carrera T, and was my choice correct on Carrera T or should I go for GTS instead. Looks like my choice was right. I will be collecting mine a used 2018 carrera T next week. Been cross shopping between 991.2 n 992. Still think 991 model looks better in every aspect. Besides, it cost me USD 145k for a slightly used 911 in my country.
I agree with everything except for 1 thing: PDK. After driving manual sports cars for my entire life, I experienced PDK for the first time and I am blown away! The 7-speed is ok but it's nowhere near like a Honda shifter (S2000) but better than most BMW's that I have driven. If the manuals weren't near extinction I feel most people shouldn't choose them.
Yesssssss they said it twice “I’m Yuri I’m Jacub and we’re going for a drive ” These videos are so good, makes me feel like I’m driving the cars while I watch it.
Great video. I *love* cf bucket seats and the whole concept about them. However I wanted something easily driveable in LA when going to coffee, the store and misc trips. Plus something friendlys for Bay Area, tahoe, Mammoth, Palm Springs road trips. I figure I can always get a recaro or OEM GT seat from my Porsche dealership. I Overall spec'd my car with: -GT Silver -No Sport Chrono wart on dash (default option) -Heated and vented seats for hot LA days -LCA -PLDS -Side sticker and rear logo delete
2019 Carrera T with manual transmission and Sport Chrono: the best driving car on public roads even while staying close to legal speeds. First 4600 miles of driving (since new): 28.2 MPG
I only started watching you guys consistently a few months ago, but it's insane how much your channel has grown in such a short time. You guys quickly became my favourite YT car reviewers, and it's a bonus that you're fellow Ontarian's!
I love the LWB seats. Proper way to get out: put your left hand on the door sill, rotate your body 90 degrees and swing your legs over, place your right hand on the door sill and push up/ stand up. Good luck!
Even though I can't afford one, I really respect Porsche. No matter how much technology and innovation they put into their models, it's apparent that they'll never lose sight of real driving enjoyment. Also, manual for me.
Going for the lightness. Ceramic brakes, Std. seats but rear seats/belts are gone, working on package shelf. Lightweight battery and lightweight exhaust on the way. ECU tune to 475 HP.
Please tell Porsche that you guys deserves a commission. I've been torn between an M3 or a 911 for a long time as my next mid-life crisis sport car. You guys has definitely convinced me to lean towards the Porsche. Also thumbs up for the ghetto memory seat.
Christ, I'm so jealous. My dream cars! I had the pleasure of driving a 991.2 Carrera 2S not long ago and it was an absolute BLAST. Most fun I've ever had. And great video as always guys!
Out of all your reviews I think this is my favorite so far! I really enjoyed the comparison between the PDK and stickshift and the different options. Does the bag come standard in the owner's manual packet? Haha!!
Great review, long live the manuals. I have a Spyder manual, 991.2 GTS manual and GT3 Touring coming. Much more fun to drive than PDK. Not as quick but who cares off the track.
I have a Carrera T and the standard seats are sooooo comfortable. Getting in and out of the carbon seats is the human equivalent of origami. Great video btw :)
Great review!!!! I got one and I didn't spec LWB seats. Tooooo uncomfortable to be used daily. This is DD. Had them before in my other P-cars. Hated them. Looks cool thought
the way we get out of the light weight buckets, is to put your hand on the door sill, and the other on the center armrest, and you can easily get in and out of the seats. you guys should talk to some owners.
As a Carrera T owner, I love the review! Beg to disagree about the manual. It would depend of how someone uses the car. I’ve had a few manual sport cars before ( BMW Z4M Coupe and a C6 Z06 Corvette) and I can’t tell how happy I am with the PDK. I live in a big city with lots of traffic on the streets and main roads and it’s a relief to have the best auto transmission available ( if you were caught in heavy traffic at night with rain after an 8 hour road trip with a manual sport car you’d agree with me). On the other hand, I attend to a few track days a year, where you need the best performance to get a “winner” hot lap. So for me your grey Carrera T is the best option with PDK, Carbon race seats and PCCB. By the way, it’s possible that with those options one can cut more weight of the car (manual would be lighter, but losing performance too). PDK is even faster than the advertised: getting it right it’s 0-60mph in 3.8. About the 7 spd manual, I read some complaints about it, claiming the 6spd it’s much better. In conclusion if I want a manual car ( which I don’t, not being part of that funny nostalgic trend). I would look for a new classic like the 997.1. Thanks for the review!!
I'm leaning more towards the PDK route for my first Porsche. After years of rowing gears, Id rather have the full performance my car has to offer with a PDK automated gearbox. Also, those paddles make me feel like a damn F1 driver!
I rented an X3M as a free upgrade & trust, infotainment is a must now, you never know when a good distraction may be needed. The infotainment system didn't work in the car & my long long trip in the ultimate driving machine, was lackluster. The songs popping up in the gage is awesome, no wasted glances away from the wheel.
Great review between the two. sounds like I chose wisely in my order. Although I disagree about the race shells as I ordered the sport pinstriped seats. So much better for DD and the 98% of the time it won't be on the track. Keep those fixed seats in the GT cars, they're wasted in the true intent of this model. Alcantara sucks as well. GAWD I CANT WAIT TO GET MY CAR. Zuffenhausen delivery in Sept...
My favorite 911 right now. Some say the T is kind of a gimic because it needed to be lighter, and if I was actually in the market I would want it to be a little less expensive, but I still love it. I would even radio delete to keep it extra purist. Manual, carbon seats, A.C., done. The perfect backroad scalpel.
I once interned at Porsche and for a company ski trip, a colleague had an exposed ski mount on the roof of his bright yellow manual 911 T - looked amazing
I have a 987.1 Cayman S, and I also love putting stuff in the frunk and watching people's puzzled looks when they think I store stuff on my engine. I literally did it and watched this couple walk over to the car and look at it confusingly after I walked away. Hilarious
Great review guys. Thumbs up! Got mine in yellow, manual transmission, rear wheel steering, no rear seats and sport+ seats. it's my daily driver, so bucket seats weren't an option. Love this car. how could i be 20 years without one. ;)

Amazing job recording audio from separate cars and linking them together.
Could watch all day.....slick production and natural banter is the best
You guys one upped Top Gear/Grand Tour by just putting one headphone on and calling each other for communication instead of using walkie talkies. The little things lol. Amazing review
Yeah but they have a lot of money, so they're still winning haha

Very creative way to compare two cars. Love you guys conversing back and forth in your respective cars. Great job!
Exactly the model I own... 911T, GT Silver , 7sp Manual
Nice review !
Amazing
Claude Fortin Nice! Congrats.
Same here! T, GT Silver, manual, sport buckets! Great car.
Best carrera T video I've seen, been waiting for this!
some of the best camera work ive seen on a web show!
This is the only TH-cam channel where I turn ad block off before I watch. :D Keep up the good work, gents!
Gordon Pratt these guys are too good at what they do to not support them!
just did that and re-watched
I played dodgeball with Gordon, our team was the best. We were last place. Champions 😬
10:28 Memory Seats lmao

Yuri Tereshyn it's ingenious

Yesssssss they said it twice
“I’m Yuri I’m Jacub and we’re going for a drive ”
These videos are so good, makes me feel like I’m driving the cars while I watch it.
From a collectors point of view I’d get a carrera T with a manual. Primarily because in the future they will end up selling for more.
Yep
Then you should also spec sport crono and carbon ceramics...at least according to every Porsche sales guy.
It seems like yesterday that you guys only had 30k subs, and look at you now! This show is getting really good, really fast...love every episode.
When Yuri put the seat forward and said “memory seats” 😂
Oh boy oh boy a new upload from the straightpipes!
Yuri's "Dance Mix 95" audio test. So genius. Definitely a valid test that I never thought about. Good job guys. Keep up the good work.

gtguy123 if I had to chose I’d go 911 as well. In green. But the m3 was very wicked as well. VERY wicked

Second best 911 you can buy. My favourite is GT3 Touring Package 6 speed manual.
