Today I continue my quest to beat Ursula on every difficulty in a challenge I call ... THE GAUNTLET!!
The Rules are simple
1. I have to beat her to move to the next level
2. If I lose, I stay on the level I'm on
3. If I change anything in my deck, I need to go back to level 1

Here is a thought:
Fang can give Ward. If you have enough ink, it would be good to play it safe and put your characters on Fang.
As close as you are getting to winning, it could possibly make that difference in the future.

If you mean that ward will protect me from Ursula’s cheeky damage then that’s only partly true.
Ward will only protect against targeted damage, anything that does damage across the board isn’t stopped by ward.
For example, if her card says “deal 2 damage to the highest cost card” and that card has ward then because it’s targeting it Ward would work. If her card said “deal 2 damage to all opposing characters” or “banish all opposing characters” then ward would do nothing because there is no target, it’s a general effect, and most of her cards are non-targeting cards, especially those action cards. So in a few cases ward would help, but not in general.
Though, I guess every little helps and it is always worth moving a character to a location just incase.
