I dont hate the game, it just really doesnt do anything different, and there are some unfun balance and gamemode issues. 2 of the gamemodes are locked behind the competitive mode where you cant respawn. Unlocking cosmetics arent interesting or a good progression for the game. New variants are not useful enough to be worth getting, but are something that will make min-maxing toxic in competition. The best part about the game being some character kits means a lot of the characters feel surface level. OW can get around this by having more of them, so the surface level heroes like Mei or Bastion dont feel too bad.
