Great vid. Really cool group going bikecamping every month rain or shine. Also cool that as an expat, you hang with locals and cooler they're so welcoming of you. Party Pace!
Your video remember me when I was a teenager riding my bike long distances, felling the adventure. Such a great channel and video. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Now just upset that I didn't comment early enough to be top comment. Again keep it up my man. Really solid videos. Oddly I found that I started narrating like you in my mind when I do my bike adventures.
Haha nice. The narration is kind of similar to my inner monologue when I’m riding my bike anyway. Apparently some people don’t have an inner monologue?!
Thanks for the rainy chill video. Perfect as always! Saw your Omnium water bottle had a smile on my face. There are not many people knowing this awesome bike brand Have a nice day :)
@@probablyriding Yes please! Would love that. Bassi doesn't get enough love in my end of the internet, so I had to show them your buddies cool hog's back.
@8:20 .... OK ; so you got me! ... but it is precisely with videos like these that I'm looking at revisiting South Korea and exploring off the beaten cycle-paths (at a party pace! ) . Great video, great story telling - thanks
Thanks! There’s so much more than just the bike paths here. The bike paths are great but I feel like you miss all the charm of riding through little towns and villages.
Really soothing youtube channel to watch! Lovely bike you've got! I've just completed the country tour cycling from Seoul to Busan and now returned back home but after seeing your channel it is obvious that I have missed so many places I could have ride in Korea with my bike....this is now my favourite channel.
What a fun ride despite the rain. It was wet here in Sussex today and a little chilly but sadly no cool public camp spots. Looks amazing and a little spooky with the lit up joggers in Bladerunner plastic capes :)
Thank you for another great and relaxed - as Russ and now also you say "party pace" - Video. I really enjoy your content so far and am happy, that you release your video on a regular basis. I am longing for more and am a bit "sad" that I am living in Germany. Otherwise I would love to join you on one of your rides to explore the beauty of Korea. Thank you! ❤
Wuhu, a Super Cub! Our favorite scooter🥰🥰🥰🥰 It's always great to see how happy you look on these trips, even without fenders. When we are out on the fatbikes, I often forget mine 🫣But when on the bike, you're on the bike, and who cares? Just always afterwards 😅
Wow!! Another awesome adventure!! Your music choices are so epic. That looks like a great crew to bike back with! Who knew South Korea looked a bit like Appalachia!
Loving all of your stuff man, but you've got me looking at lots of boutiquey bike frames and parts now 😅 Song on this one reminds me of Ween's 'Even If You Don't', which provided additional joy throughout 😁
loved the video! I have a mini velo but dont ride it very much, I am a bit nervous to ride in Korea. I live near 아산 and was wondering where this trail is? Your video makes me want to get on my bike! :)
So jealous you can take your bike on the train like that, in Japan you have to fully pack it in a bike bag which sucks if you have wide bars and a rack etc
It’s pretty sweet but it’s only a couple of train lines you can do it on. In Japan I got away with just covering the wheels of my bike without disassembling. Probably not very responsible of me though.
Probably worth sending Monthly Bikepacking a message on instagram. Nobody spoke in English when I was there but that’s probably because I speak Korean. I’d imagine there are enough people who speak English.
Very nice video of a nice and fun looking trip and the plethora of bikes is really great but I am wondering and this is not a criticism, I did no see a rear view mirror on any of the bikes or helmets. I mean , I live in Tampa Florida and it is one of the worst places to ride a bicycle for the traffic and the horrendous drivers and I would never go anywhere without a rearview mirror as it has safe my life numerous times and it is imperative to survive to see what is behind you. IF you get to read this comment I would be interest in your response. Cheers and again, great video.
Thanks for watching. Using a mirror has never crossed my mind, mostly because I’ve never seen anyone using one. I could see it being useful in places like you described in Tampa though.
Epic! How do you deal with keeping your bike dry/clean/rust-free during a multi-day rainy bikepacking trip? Do you just save the maintenance until the end of your journey, or are you hand drying your bike and chain, re-lubing etc every night? Cheers!
Wet lube lasts a couple of days. For a longer ride, I bring some chain oil with me. I don’t clean my bikes that often because I don’t have much space for that. No problems with rust so far. The wet humid Korean summer is the only season I worry about that. I keep some of my bikes indoors then.
Perfect video. Thank you for filming everything!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I appreciate you shining a light on Korea! Somewhere i know little about, especially bike related. You are certainly making me want to visit!
A worthy place to visit, for sure.
I've been waiting all week for a new edition ! 😜
You once again did not disappoint 👍
Thanks for waiting!

Awesome, thank you!
As a committed imbiber of all things ‘bike content’ on y’tube, this is by far my favourite potion. Carry on riding, I beg you
Thanks! Riding everyday for as long as I can 🚲
thanks for taking us with you on that wet bikepacking day 🧡 I'm jealous that you have bike packing friends to do this with regularly 😅
Thanks for watching! Lucky to have this group!
This is SO heartwarming to watch. Love how it feels so cosy watching it despite looking so soggy.
Thanks!

I got to ride one in Copenhagen around Christmas. Couldn’t stop thinking about buying one for a while. Will do when I eventually return to Europe.
Awesome content. Like being along for the ride. Fenders for the win against wet and mud. Thanks!
Glad you like them! Fender install very soon.
The ultramarathon wrinkle is so funny. What a random cherry on top of this wonderful ride. Also, that bassi hogs back looked wonderful.
Definitely added some amusement to the night! Need to do some more bike checks of my friends' bikes!
