  • The Logitech G915 TKL looks like a tenkeyless version of the standard G915 Lightspeed gaming keyboard but there's a lot more to it. The G915 TKL fixes a lot of the issues & problems we found with the G915 but there's also the price.....and that's still really high.

For those asking about how we got G-HUB to work, we have a beta version that was given to reviewers before the product was officially on sale. Technically G-HUB SHOULD have been updated by the time the G915 TKL went on sale. We honestly don't know what happened.

Absolute shame logitech made some very poor decisions with this lineup. The overall width of the G915 TKL is actually wider than your average TKL due to the side bezels sticking out so far. Strangely the bottom bezel is uneven with the side and top bezels as well. The thickness of the board itself doesn't play a role on the footprint. So even tho it's thin, it's not necessarily a selling point for being "compact". Then they topped it off by increasing the physical size of the USB receiver (why??), not implementing USB-C for charging, and also no USB-C wireless receiver either. The keycaps are cheap ABS. Stabilizers are rattly. How the hell is the price $230? This is a $150 or lower keyboard at best. I don't care how good the wireless is.

I am happy with my G915, until the day my W keycap leg break n stuck inside the switch and become a keyboard size paper weight, you will hate it too when it happen to you., until than enjoy the keyboard.

I really don't like the extra G-keys placement on the left side of the full size G915. That's the worst spot for extra keys. They get in the way for those who are used to the classic overlay. Making a full size keyboard even wider is a bad idea. Better make it taller and put all the extra stuff above the F-keys. And for the quick access there's a bottom edge of the keyboard for some special keys (non-sticking out type), below the space-bar. Also the Logitech Craft knob dial is so much better than this G915 wheel barrel. But the worst part of the story is the chopped off number pad (with its 16 keys, not 10) and it's the real deal-breaker. The second worst, of course, is the price. I mean, this keyboard costs as much as GTX1660 Super. Well, the $700 Mac Pro Wheels or the $1000 monitor stand are the next level of crazy, but Logitech is getting close :). $250-$230 for a far from perfect keyboard is too much.

In Sweden this costs 365CAD or 272USD... For that price I can build a custom mech...

This is great balance for gamer by night and programmer by day! I loved my Apex 7 tkl with gateron reds but I was making plenty of errors in typing. This solves that problem with the tactile version, plus with bluetooth and wireless connectivity provides that clean minimalist look. It's expensive, but then it's not for the budget conscious.

This is by far the worst keyboard to get for that price point and you highlighted those issues pretty well, appreciate it

I love how on twitter you responded to a guy asking for a review of this keyboard and you said: "No, It's the same as the full sized one, just tkl"

Been waiting for this keyboard for so long. I've researched the crap out of this and as far as I can tell, there is literally no other keyboard that does the four things this one does: Long battery life, tenkeyless, mechanical, RF wireless. There are plenty of other boards that check 3 of those 4 boxes, but none as far as I know that get all four of them. Low-profile is just a bonus for me.

I honestly don't mind the "cheap" feel of the volume roller. I can reach up and flick it down or up really quick while gaming and I don't have to worry about making a bunch of unnecessary clicking/tactile noises. And like you said, the latency is now gone from this AND the previous version, must have been a driver issue or something because now it reacts instantaneously

i bought the standard 915 today and i'm super happy with it. yes it's pricy, but the typing experience is amazing (got the tactile switches), the wireless makes for a super clean looking desk and the keyboard itself just looks superb in my opinion. the volume wheel on mine does have quite some drag, so that seems to be a difference to the TKL version. but they removed the imput lag of the wheel for the normal 915 as well.

I absolutely love the G815, it's amazing. Expensive but given nothing else like is exists it's absolutely worth it.
