Dealing with stress is key to healing autoimmune diseases.. I got a counselor started taking Epsom baths every night with candles listening to guided imagery and within 3 months my markers were negative.. I also saw a functional medicine dr and prescribed supplements but even he said if I didn’t manage my stress and trauma I wouldn’t get better..

Good points. But I think, more often than not, these emotional issues are caused more by what is going on in the gut than the other way round. Also Seeing as neither GI docs nor psychiatrists have any woking knowledge of the microbiome, diet, etc are largely guessing about what’s going on in someone’s brain or small intestine, and they don’t have any tools that actually heal- I’m not sure what the point of coordination is- even if that sounds good on the surface. But what you suggest can’t hurt and might help in some cases.

There are theories about why it happens to some people, but the most convincing one to me is that you are suddenly being bombarded with so much information coming from the titles on the shelves. It makes you realize how much your neurotransmitters really do affect your gut.

I don't feel satiated if I go without a small amount of protein.
If I went on a vegan diet, it would increase gas and bloating.
I've been on the FODMAP DIET for over 2 yrs and it's very balanced, low sugar, gluten free and low gas foods.
Very clean eating including berries, Silverback and brown rice /quinoa.
There's a list you can get off the net.
My bowel problems have reduced heaps.
Occasionally I get fibromyalgia flares but they're because I'm over doing things.
I think listening to our body is important.

I will give the smoothies and the flax a try, even though I have difficulty losing weight. It took me 2 years to lose 65 pounds and I want to lose 20 more. Your treatment protocol is one size fits all it is NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL. It tore up my gut and when I told you that you blamed it on me that I wasn’t doing the protocol right. You need to adjust your protocol for people with gut issues and stop gaslighting them. If you were concerned about stress you wouldn’t be taking advantage of ppl in their lowest point with your $5000 program then blaming them that they didn’t do the protocol right if it doesn’t work!
