My son and I were able to get the last Cinderella mat of the event during Atlanta. I believe 12 total were redeemed. You had a couple facts incorrect about the side events. Day 1 it was 2 tickets per match win, a bonus ticket if you went 3-0. Day 2 prizes were double because people were waiting in line for 3 hours to sign up for side events so it was an attempt to ease the pain of that(and it worked) My son and I spent $570 entering 15 side events combined(7 sealed, 3 drafts, 2 constructed, 2 multiplayer, 1 starter deck) and earned exactly 100 tickets. Keep the content coming!
You, Zach, and Mike, were extremely awesome people. I know I am not part of your local scene much because I live a bit further, but the support you guys showed for the Cali folks in general was awesome. Zach gave me a big hug when he found out I got a Mickey, Mike was super stoked giving me hug too. I appreciate you guys. Congrats on being qualified and I am trying to get into Texas... so hopefully see you there! Keep up the content brother.

I guess the free market decides the price of these cards, right? I do think they're not worth the exorbitant amounts people are paying for them, but it's their money.
I could not attend the Atlanta Challenge but daaaang, just realized this morning after seeing one of your TH-cam pic captions that you were the one who wrecked my husband in the first round of top 64 😅! It was sad hearing he lost but I guess it’s not as bad if it was you. If only he was paired with someone else, haha! Anyway, love watching your content and congrats on making it to top 16! Maybe we’ll see you in Ft Worth but hopefully not during the games; gotta defend our home turf 😂

Congratulations again on your wins! I was at atlanta, the event itself was a little underwhelming as far as vendors and merch for sale rather than tickets. Looking back at the pictures, it was really just a big concrete room with people in it. But, the people made it an incredible experience, and participating in the tournament kept me busy enough to not care too much that the rest of the event was lacking.

I 3-0ed THREE events on Saturday (entering every event back to back I could) and only ended the day with 27 tix
the 100 tix is a not achievable for anyone going alone to grind side events. Definitely need a team/family

I actually heard them doubling the tickets was to rectify the chaos that happened in the morning with people trying to sign up for events in person when melee went down which caused a three hour line
these prices are wild. if they keep doing these events the price will drop but starting this high realy sets a long term expensive floor.

That sale alone creates a floor price, now others “attempting” to sell it for much higher theoretically won’t be able to. Hell, if all the others still wanted 75k, I’d buy it for 25k and resell for 40k to stay under asking but get a nice profit lmao

This is all FOMO and impatient behavior, since a patient person will know that the more challenges there are the cheaper cards will become and thus after the Seattle Challenge you will see the actual settled price for promos. That’s at least what I think and what I am doing
Hey Kevin, I ran into you at the event, you said you liked my Max/Powerline shirt. Grants on top 16! I was one match away from making day 2. Kinda disappointed but had a lot of fun, but got both non foil Cindy and Punz playing side events!

The reason they doubled side event tickets on Day 2 is because of the 2-3 hour lines for in-person registration after the Melee registration kerfunkle.

Do u recommend opening packs to get cards for ur decks or just buying decks? I’m having trouble on deciding what to do cause I’ve only had the starter decks
I recommend buying the single cards via your LGS or online that you need or want to try for your decks rather than buying booster packs - in my opinion it saves money :)!
Buying precon decks are usually not as strong as the decks people play at local league
