Great video, and thank you Paval for carrying Lorcana through the shortage. I wish I would've made it. Next year for sure I'll be there if Atlanta hosts again
They’ve changed a lot with the event since then, but this does give you a general idea on what to expect but they definitely have made it more. Efficient and the prize wall has gotten a lot better.
Thank you Chris for doing a video on the whole Disney Lorcana Challenge event, covering all costs and what to experience. Look forward to the Toronto stop.
This is from one of the very first ones so a lot of the way they do the ticketing and stuff has changed, but it has definitely changed to better the players for sure since then I haven’t been to any of them, but I’ve been hearing a lot of feedback from other players and they say that it’s done a lot more efficiently now
Event was fun. Momo con being there added a lot, haha. I was fine w best of 2, but for me not having an appropriate amount of swiss rounds kinda sucked needed 11 and also only a 3% top cut just felt bad. But overall was great
No standard format means you can play any set up to the current set so if you don’t wanna play any of the newest that your deck can have all Cards from the older sets for now eventually, they might do some kind of rotation or restricted to decks, but as of right now, any card is legal in the standard format
When you say split the tickets, what do you mean by that? You concede to your opponent with the idea that you both split those tickets? A bit new to this haha 😂
Yes, so you guys all agree to walk to the ticket redemption center together one person puts the win on the sheet as the result gets the tickets and then you split the last round of tickets evenly amongst yourselves.. obviously both parties have to agree on splitting in the regular format and all four parties. Have to agree on splitting if you do this in the pod, but yes, definitely best to go up to the counter altogether or if that person already has enough tickets to where they can just give them to you and go up to the redemption counter themselves they can do that also.
I agree it was a lot of fun. It does look like though they have changed up the side events for Chicago. Unfortunately I won’t be there, but I’m going to Texas so I’ll be sure to do an updated video when it comes to tickets and such afterwards.
Are you planning on playing any of the Disney lorcana challenges coming up?🎉
Can't wait until it comes to Seattle! As the last event everything should also be ironed out so I'm excited for a smoother process and just fun time!
@@eliurrutia602 hope I can make that 1
Nice glad you had fun seems really fun might have to jump in next year
I want too but I am doing local tournaments first, (Florida) My first one will be Oct 5th!

Thanks for this Video! We just landed tickets to Seattle and are super curious as to what we're walking in to. Thanks again!

Hopefully I’ll see you there :) and I appreciate you watching.
Thanks for the info!
I can't afford a lot of side events, so I hope that my opponents in the 1 or 2 I can play don't want to just split and run.

@@chrispytcg indeed! I got the Cinderella and Rapunzel EAs! (Non-foil of course.)
My question is for each tournament do u have to play the newest set that comes out or can you play any set?
