Thanks for your analysis on the status of the game. Very informative. Video and editing quality is great too. Hopefully subscribers start flooding in for you. 👍🏼
Appreciate the analysis and breakdown. You've got the best collector content I've seen yet. Might be worthwhile to see what you think on price analysis. Maybe less of a price report like other creators but drivers behind it, changes over time, etc.
My wife pulled an elsa on her first pack, and went on a second and got aladin both enchanted, we are new into tcg and was our first buy, i want to know how to grade it
That is truly incredible! Congratulations to you both! I'm sure I will make a "how to" video in the future specific to grading Lorcana cards. However, for the near term, here is a link to a video that might help. Pokemon and Lorcana cards are somewhat similar (rounded corners etc). Hope that this helps! th-cam.com/video/LQZouEVp5ZQ/w-d-xo.html
I was doing a bit of thinking myself recently and figured the Elsa is probably quite undervalued right now. Ended up bidding for a psa 10 on eBay for $1350. Crossing my fingers and holding on to it for 5 or 10 years and hoping for the best.
Hey - I have to say im impressed about your videos overall quality. It was fun and enjoyable listening. Also the PIN valuation system is such a cool Idea and the points you mentioned made really sense to me. I think Lorcana and Pixelborn are having a absolut amazing fundation, I really hope they continue to give this game as much love as it gets right now. Also from what I heard, this company got an 10%+ increase of DAX Value since the start of Lorcana and I hope they deal clever with it.
I really enjoy your content and your analytics.. It somehow makes me even more happy (if thats even possible) knowing that the pull rate is 1:1000 ish when I pulled Elsa after my 24th pack 🤯 Should buy a lottery ticket with that kind of luck...
It's great to see the Enchanted pool expanding (presumably) per set! Lorcana appears to be locking in nicely on the collector side and taking the rarity seriously, which is wonderful to see so early on. It will be exciting to see how it continues to expand down the line with potential items like special edition sets etc that could include more chances for promos. Thanks so much for your support!
Bro aint non way you post content with as high production value as you do without having a least >10k invested in sealed product. I aint hating, keep pumping my bags
Interesting thoughts but it’s super hard to compare the two IPs. Pokémon focused very much towards children when released with few adults been targeted, however lorcana seems to be heavily purchased by adults as opposed to kids. The other big change is that grading cards is easily accessible in today’s market for lorcana cards, however for Pokémon high profile cards took decades before grading was considered, thus making the POP 10 population of 1st edition cards a lot rarer then what you could image. Long term I think Lorcana will do okay, however they missed the mark when they didn’t release a first edition print on the cards. There are wave releases of the first chapter however considering there is nothing on the physical card reflecting this it’s not going to matter going forward as no one will know once opened. The other huge mistake they made was not bringing boxes out with sealed shrink wrap, long term this will have an effect on the durability of the market as boxes cannot be guaranteed of been untampered. It is crazy that they didn’t think of this given that every other TCG ensures that the products are tamper proof sealed.
Really appreciate you reaching out with such insightful thoughts, my friend! I'm right there with you on the 1st edition stamps and being intrigued to see how the FC ages down the road.
Great video! I’m more of a TCG player than a collector, however with your “napkin math” I must be extremely lucky as a collector. Only opened 73 packs, and have 3 Lorcana enchanted’s. 1/96 packs for an enchanted means I broke the stat line by A LOT! 😅
Another thing to account for is that Pokemon seems to be not as trendy with Gen Alpha, whereas Frozen 3 is expected to come out 2026. There is better or more active platforms of future hype in Disney as opposed to Pokemon (at least in the west).
Ain’t no way this a real post. Kids like Pokémon way more than frozen lmfao. Also you all forgetting Disney divisive af with how political it’s getting.
it must also be said that in the past, when pokemon came out, nobody used sleeves and cardsavers. Thats the reason why the cards are so high priced. Kids played with charizard and there are not so much 10s. Lorcana is modern. Collectors save their cards today. But i´m hoping youre right. My Elsa is at PSA at the moment. Greets from germany
Man, the Lorcana hit rate is pretty brutal. I'm new to the game, but I'm guessing this is the equivalent of One Piece having 12 Manga Alt Arts instead of just one per set. Making it pretty much impossible to pack your way into completing sets. Tough.
That's EXACTLY it....you nailed it. It feels as though these new hobbies have sort of adopted the 'long shot' pull rate/chase card. Combining that with those hobbies being so new (and one day the 'vintage' sets of the future) it will be very interesting to see how they progress with ratios. Thank you so much for reaching out and supporting!
Great points! One aspect of Lorcana that might be a disadvantage is that Disney has a track record of getting into hype and then canceling many projects when the hype is over like Disney Infinity (toys come to life in your video game hype) and Disney's other big Trading cards set like Disney Treasures from 2003-2004.

There is no market for Lorcana, I work with kids and tons of them play card games. Kids these days arent into disney, the cards are almost completely purchased by collectors and will die the same way metazoo did. There are ELEVEN card shops in my city, half of which dont carry the game, and none of which have ever hosted a "lorcana" game night. Keep in mind, even less common games like Battle Spirits Saga / DBZ or Weiss have multiple meetups in the week. This game is soulless. Hope the collectors have fun, but this is obviously not ending well. Feel free to message me 5 years from now with how "wrong" I was.
They're not the majority, but I've been hitting up 3 Lorcana Leagues weekly for about a month now and there are kids showing up super psyched for Lorcana. They're really good at them too and running some super good cards
100% incorrect. Whether you agree with what Disney is doing these days or not they still OWN the market for children. Kids are hugely into Disney these days. Now I’m still not sure whether Lorcana will be a great investment, but it has a high likelihood of dominating the TCG market. My big concern is with the card market in general. Will the market die in this digital age or will physical media survive? That is the question. I love physical media so I hope it survives.
