I just scored $210 in halves at a bank. Only got 1 40%er, a 66 but did get about 15 dollers in 76 halves. Need to look at em soon.

I got some rolls of half dollars at the bank and found a bicentennial that has a bump in front of kennedys face and same bump on the back. Any information on this coin would be nice.

Hey, I just found a 1776-1976 Half Dollar Coin, the interesting thing is the backside of it is upside down, I don't know if that's an error
Currency coinage flips top to bottom. Bullion coinage flips side to side.

Just got 140 half dollars . Found mistakes on some as I went through them. I was wondering about it looks like they were scratch in thin line a circular motion around the 1/2 dollar done perfectly like it was rubbing against the metal printing machine. ?

I have some half dollars from 1964....got a box from the bank that they had to order from somewhere else. Where do they order from? I want to try to find some Liberty Walker coins - do you have ay suggestions about how to do that? My search for my first half dollar box led to 11 half dollars from 1964 and 1 from 1968. There were A TON of 1776-1976 half dollars in there. I am looking for errors from that year now. I have one that looks like 2 of the year numbers are overlapping the rim on the obverse side and there are indents where they should not be on the reverse. I also have a question about what the value of a 1776-1976 Eisenhower Bicentennial Silver Dollar would be worth - any ideas there?

I was looking through my mom's coin collection and I think I found a misprint? I have the 1776-1976 coin and above the date there is a visible dot. I don't think it's a D (if it is its VERY distorted) and its not any other letter. The reverse is the independence hall image. I hope it's an error coin 😂✊ I'm not entirely sure if it's in mint condition or not, but it is pretty shiny and clear. I don't think it's a proof coin
EDIT: I just compared two half dollars I have and noticed that the "In God We Trust" on the dot copy looked much thicker than the other one that had much clearer script. I'm new to coin collecting so I think the term is double die?

50 cents Philadelphia mint did not use mint marks back then and all US coins are oriented 180 degrees
