I'm 48, I remember as a kid in the 70's being able to take an Ike into the store, get a candy bar, pack of baseball cards and a comic book, and still have change left over! The good old days 👍

I wish they still made big coins like the IKE dollar. I know they're not practical but they feel really good holding a few in your hand!
I used to have an Eisenhower coin lost in when I moved along with my 1880 Morgan silver dollar which was my very first coin collected at the age of 10

I have some Ike dollars, wish you could find them at banks or receive them as change. Mine were purchased mainly from Ebay in coin lots.

Love your videos BTW thank you for sharing all of your information and insights. Very cool. I had to go look through my collection knowing that I have one of these coins. Low and behold, I have a Type 2 struck with a D and it weighs aprox 24 plus grams and in beautiful condition. Perhaps it's time I got a few of these valued by a professional? I have some pretty cool coins for sure and would love to know what they are worth. 😊😎

I have 3 type II no ment mark just like the last one. I would love to know their value. My grandfather got them at the bank and put them up for me since I was born in 1976.
I’m a bicentennial baby also and have 3 without the mint mark.

Found one of these with no mint mark. It would be the copper/nickel as the weight is 22.68. It is a type 2. The only other coin i can find without the mint mark is 80% silver
I have a 1776 Eisenhower silver coin but it has a hole where the e would be on the front and the d on the back does it still have value?

I'm still confused! As I have the type 1. With the smaller lettering and no mint mark and is not silver like the one your showing in this video that went for 7000.00, I thought that this meant that signify it was made in the Philadelphia mint and wasn't worth much???... mine is copper looking like this one and weighed 22.8 grams.

Okay i have a type 1 1976 d mint mark Eisenhower dollar but the the "u" in the word unum is missing on the back of the coin. I've been trying to find anything about this mint error and have not found anything about it. I'm wondering if anyone can maybe help me out with any information about this error or any ideas where i can get a feed back in sw washington area.
So I have both the type 1 no mint mark as well as the type 1 d mint uncirculated how can I sell for the 11k and the 7k??
The last 1776 1976 that u showed without the mark on it ,I have in my hand, that u said it sold for over 400,000 dollars and that's was 4 years ago so my ? Is where do I go to sale this silver dollar at?
