    3 treasures:
    1. Consciousness, Kindness/compassion. Love ourselves first so that we can love others
    2. Merciful. Judging and being judged is a horrible cycle
    3. Forgiveness. Forgive ourselves first. Live and let live. You are the master of your own life

You seem like a very pure being and you are blessing to all because you are helping others live naturally, harmoniously. You are a sane man in an insane world and that is inspiring. Much love, and thank you!

As a Jewish born person, I learned... through Tao to forgive Hitler. Please let us all forgive the world around us that teaches so much of the opposite of what is inside all of us to naturally do. Become one with Tao.

Nice, ethical teachings right here. Have you ever learned Mussar (Mesillat Yesharim, etc) or read Pirkei Avot with commentary? If you're not opposed to Jewish teachings I think you'd really enjoy them as well

Love. Always. Love the Principles of Taoism. I wish people understood the Power of Love. It's so much stronger than the Power of Fear and Hate... but, peoples ruling Power conjured Hate and Fear in their lives and sometimes they are too blind and afraid to trust the Power of Love and live their life through Love. Changing one person at a time is better than no change. I love every soul on this planet, I believe in the Power of Self and sharing that encouraging Energy. Love each other!

I have been working on this for a little while. Today I put it into practice and was able to put a big demon to rest( I hope, I am still buzzing from the experience). When the situation presented itself I simply followed the Tao. This explanation gave my mind the strength to follow the Tao and not hold back.
I would like to thank Yun Xiang Tseng for this video. It has helped my life in ways I cannot put into words. ''The Way of the Tao is of itself so'' said Lao Tzu. He was right.

I hope I can give you a satisfying answer to that! The point is that every single person has their own path in life to follow, their own mistakes to make, and their own time they need to learn from it. And since everyone is responsible for their own actions, mistakes and learning processes... it is not our responsibility to interfere. But in stead to forgive them and show mercy and love, as we would like to be treated the same ;)

Master, as I see it you blended the next three into one at 10:20
*to love, to have compassion, to forgive*
    Yet, the Dao-De-Jing narrates differently:
    1] 慈 kindness/pity
    2] 儉 thriftiness/simplicity
3] 不敢為天下先 not daring to put myself ahead of everybody
Simply you talked just for the first (out of three), literally: "compassion, tenderness, love, mercy, kindness, gentleness, benevolence"

The few times that I felt like I was in the Universal Oneness God's presence maybe only 3. I do not talk about it to people because most would just laugh at me. It was like being in pure energy in outerspace with small lines of lightning sparks, here and their I did not see bodily forms or a form. I cannot explain it but their was thought transference going on, pure love, extremely humbling.

And sure some people are making terrible mistakes in life, mostly because of ignorance of lack of wisdom and experience!! But the only way we can truly help them, is by showing them wisdom and hoping they are ready to accept that wisdom in to their life. As soon as we have desire to judge, and stop someone from following their path in life, we are sacrificing our own love, mercy and forgiveness, witch will cause stress and frustration to ourselves! I hope my answer can help you! Peace...

God bless. I was raised Christian myself, and I searched for the Truth and Chinese Philosophy. I was lead to meditation and it changed my life and I have seen many miracles. Remember the true teachings of Jesus The Christ was the universal brotherhood of love. He taught it to be a everyday Christ consciousness of love, not a religion. All true religious teachings come from the Universal God of All who is Love. Some just get mistranslated and corrupted over the course of 1000's of years.

Ya, I do not astral travel, I have before, but its just a consciousness for me, sometimes I open my eyes and its like I am in space and do not see my physical body. With the 3rd eye open you can see ultra violet colors. So when I close my eyes I can see angels sometimes and when I first started little demons, would hit me with energy balls and give me nightmares, Some call them succubi they suck energy from you. Mainly from my conscious mind at the time that had to be emptied.

Helped my uncle roof and insulate all weekend sorry for the delay. For me astral is like projecting outside oneself, you relax the mind and concentrate on a place like a childhood home, someplace in your familiar with is easiest and put your mind in a delta blank state and picture your self in that spot. I seek the Universal Mind or One in the Christ and its more like clouds or different spirits of light and its like your in the mind of God and not outside like physical.

His translation is similar to the book I have that Carl Jung helped with. With the white orb, you must concentrate it in the heart area with the circulating of the light which is a visual technique, I have done the affinity sign or figure 8 going from root chakra to crown. Sometimes I have seen sparks of light until thrown or transferred into what I would call the 8th realm. Done right its like a worm hole in science terms.

In the tao te ching it says that while caught in desire one sees only the manifestations surrounding that desirable thing. Only by freeing ourselves from the desire can we realise the mystery. It goes on to say that although mysteries and manifestations are different they come from the same soarce. This soarce is called darkness. Darkness in darkness is the key to all understanding. Does this mean that in all things we should seek to see the mystery as the manifestation and vice versa?

    2. "The Bible mentions two specific types of fear. The first type is beneficial and is to be encouraged. The second type is a detriment and is to be overcome. The first type of fear is fear of the Lord. This type of fear does not necessarily mean to be afraid of something. Rather, it is a reverential awe of God; a reverence for His power and glory.
Fear of the Lord brings with it many blessings and benefits. It is the beginning of wisdom and leads to good understanding (Psalm 111:10).

Are you talking about the initiation ceremony? Because that is a sect that appropriates Daoism and other religions but is not really Daoism. I say this because my wife and I attended such a holy house today where their version of the three treasures was the main gate on the bridge of your nose, the mantra of wu tai fo mi le, and the heavenly seal of placing your right thumb against your ring finger and left hand on pinky.
Basically it was a lot of ritual and you are not supposed to tell people or speak of the three treasures outside of the ceremony, but the truth is that it's bs without substance. The true three treasures are compassion, moderation, and humility. Emphasis on ritual is mere superstition, especially in the i kuan tradition.

    1. Lamentations 3:33-36. "Evil is not the opposite of peace. The Hebrew word translated "peace" is shâlôm, which has many meanings, mostly related to the well being of individuals. Râ‛âh, the Hebrew word translated "evil" in the KJV often refers to adversity/calamity - two forms of the word. Strong's H7451a most often refers to moral evil, whereas Strong's H7451b (the form used here) most often refers to calamity or distress. Obviously, "calamity" is a better antonym of "peace" than 'evil.'"

if you are referring to making sacrifices to gods, modern Taoism doesn't really worship the old Chinese pantheon, the old gods such as the jade emperor or guan yu, slowly faded and took a back seat to the more universal yin-yang principles, Taoism has always been more about understanding the natural and scientific laws at play in the balance of the universe than it has been a religion as we think of it in the western sense

So when you meditate, your Self is elevated into higher, heavenly planes of existence?

So if it's not astral projection, then what do you call it?

Taoism is easier to understand then the Bible. I learned to meditate with the Secret of the Golden Flower. Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ is the untainted version from the Akashic Records. And yes surrendering to Gods will, to love God w/ all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself, is what it is all about, living in the Christ Consciousness of Divine Love

I thought the three treasures in Taoism were compassion (mercy), frugality, and not daring to be ahead of all under heaven (humilty).

Daoism dose not discriminate yet I have been told that I can't learn from a teacher because I have no money and because I have a learning disability. When I started trying to learn daoism I started with books, video's and the internet but that did not work. Then I tried finding a local teacher there were none after that I tried finding a to go to a teach and could not because no buddy would help me raise money to do that. I have determined that daoism is not poor and learning disability friendly in the united state's. The lake of resocese that go beyond books, video's and the internet is horrible.

thanks for the web link but I am looking for a teacher student relation ship where I'm actually working with the teacher in person and waiting for a respons or getting half the content because something didn't load right. plus things like books, videos and websits kinda work for me but come across as two dimentnal and laking substance to the point of not understanding what I'm trying to learn.

i understand that I have to learn the true Tao myself but I still want a teacher to help me get there. My dream goal is to learn as much as I can about Taoism so I can eventually become a priest.

How could goat herders thousands of years ago be aware that the Universe was expanding, as cited in Isaiah 40:22 and at least ten other places? How would they get the proper order of creation exactly right, especially when comparison and language interpretation is used? How would the author of the book of Job, verse 26:7, know that Earth is "suspended over nothing? How would the ancient people know of underwater mountains (Jonah 2:5-6)?

I didn't say all Christians were like that, I said most were, which is why its a fallacy. Reading the the Bible twice doesn't help you understand it. The Bible is a book that ties together surprisingly well for being 60 different books written by mostly different people. Reading it twice doesn't even mean you remember all of it either, its impossible unless you have a photographic memory.
