  • "Three Eyes Jack", 1992.
Three Eyes Jack formed in 1989. The group released a few demos throughout 1990 and 1991, and in September of 1992, Three Eyes Jack released their first mini-album which was self-titled. The album was a decent success in the early visual underground, and Three Eyes Jack went on to tour throughout the remainder of 1992 quite heavily. In September of 1993, the group appeared on the "Monsters of Shock Age" omnibus and later released their first full length album "T-E-R-R-O-R-I-S-T" that November. The album immediately sold out and was repressed a second time just a few weeks after its initial release. Three Eyes Jack went on to tour throughout the majority of 1994 and didn't release any original material during this period. The group also seemed to have almost entirely removed their visual aesthetic by the fall of 1994, which heavily divided the group's strong cult following. In February of 1995, Three Eyes Jack made their return with the release of their second mini-album "Good Time Wally", which, presumably due to their decision to remove most of their visual image, was a major disappointment in terms of sales in the visual underground. Three Eyes Jack went on to tour quite heavily throughout the remainder of 1995, and later released their first single "Holiday" which had even rougher sales than the "Good Time Wally" album. The group went on to release three more singles between May and July of 1996, which all had terrible sales, and Three Eyes Jack ended up disbanding by the end of 1996. Frontman Go went on to form the popular visual metal band Beast under the alias of G.B.B. When Beast also split in late 2003, G.B.B went on to form Karma Tribal, which also split in 2005 after just over a year of activity. After Karma Tribal's short run, G.B.B then officially retired from the visual scene after nearly two decades of involvement. In 2012, after nearly a decade apart, Beast announced its revival, and the group remains active today as a touring act with G.B.B included. The bassist of Three Eyes Jack, Chachamaru (ちゃちゃ丸), retired from the visual scene after Three Eyes Jack split, and went on to concentrate on his side project Mega 8 Ball under the alias of Rikiji. In 1998, Rikiji went on to join the popular alternative rock group Oblivion Dust, which put Mega 8 Ball on an indefinite hiatus. When Oblivion Dust split in 2001, he then reformed Mega 8 Ball, which remained active up until 2012. Rikiji is currently active in Oblivion Dust, which has been active again as of 2007. The guitarist of Three Eyes Jack, May, went on to join the indies group Pow-der under the alias of Masaru (マサル). When Pow-der also split in early 2001, Masaru then reunited with Rikiji as a member of Oblivion Dust, although it split a few months after he joined. He then joined the obscure indies band S.R.O.D. and the project Led, which he formed with vocalist Yuna Katsuki (香月優奈). Led soon split in 2003, and Masaru eventually left S.R.O.D. by 2004 as well, and he then went on to become a member of Karma Tribal, under the alias of Masall. When Karma Tribal also disbanded in late 2005, Masall then retired from the visual scene.
