  • "Cry-Max Pleasure Super ~Loud, Trance and Violence for Extacy~ Omnibus", 1995 BMG/Victor.
Shizuku... (雫...) formed in 1994. That year, the group released two demos, both of which sold moderately well. Shizuku... then went on to appear on two omnibuses throughout 1995, and toured throughout the majority of the year as well, establishing a fair-sized cult following for their gloomy, yet highly unique, musical style. In January of 1996, Shizuku... released their first single, "Lost Age", which sold extremely well, and further pushed the band towards indies super-stardom. The group then released their second single, "Akai Kaze to Tomo ni... (赤い風と共に...)", a few months later, which was sold only at a few of their lives, and nearly sold out its pressing. In June of 1996, Shizuku... appeared on the "End of the Century Rocker I" omnibus, and later released their first mini-album, "Tsuki ga Yami ni Kageru Toki... (月が闇に翳るとき...)", that August. The album was pressed for 5000 copies, and almost instantly sold out. Just a month later, Shizuku... released its third single, "End of the Lost Age Since 1996", which also had pretty remarkable sales. Needless to say, the impressive sales pushed Shizuku... to being one of the biggest indies bands by the end of 1996, and this attracted the attention of many major labels. In early 1997, Shizuku... managed to work out a deal with a few indies labels, and also tied that in to the major label Mercury Music Entertainment, thus technically solidifying the band as a major band. In July of 1997, Shizuku... made their major debut with the release of their first-ever full length album "Yume wo Wasureta Idenshi (夢を忘れた遺伝子)", which, although was a huge major flop, managed to sell like hotcakes in the visual underground. The group then concentrated pretty closely on their humongous visual underground following, and released their fourth single, "...Ni Tameru wa Hen Remasei Nijuu (…ニ為ルワ変レマ生ニ獣)", in November of 1997, at a few of their lives only. Shizuku... then released their fifth single, "Humanoid", similarly at a few of their lives in February of 1998, and were soon after dropped from the Mercury Music Entertainment roster. They were soon signed to Nippon Crown (日本コロムビア), however, and in July of 1998, released their first compilation album, "Sensou wo Shiranai Otona Tachi (戦争を知らない大人達) ~End of the Lost Age~ Sound Image". Although it had slightly less successful sales in comparison to their flood of success beforehand, it still was pretty popular in the visual underground, although, failed to break the band commercially. Due to the poor commercial performance of the compilation album, Shizuku... were then dropped from Nippon Crown immediately after, and returned to being an indies band. In September of 1998, Shizuku... released their second mini-album "Tokei Shikake no Chikyuu (時計仕掛けの地球) 'Digital' Clock Work Age", which, showed the group falling even more in a downward spiral in terms of decreasing popularity, and then officially disbanded in early 1999. All of the members of the group, besides frontman Mitsuru, went on to form the cult indies band Medical Trance Peach. When Medical Trance Peach split as well in 2001, however, all of the remaining Shizuku... members went their own way. One of the guitarists, Katsu, joined the successful semi-visual band RAMAR, under his full name of Atsushi Ueno (上野淳). When he eventually left RAMAR, however, Atsushi then retired from the visual scene. The other guitarist of Shizuku..., Hizumi, went on to join the obscure indies band Cassis, which soon split as well after he joined. He then formed the equally-obscure indies band Glitz Cafe, which disbanded as well in late 2006. He then formed one more obscure indies visual band, Hanabi, which disbanded officially after just a few months together. After the short run of Hanabi, Hizumi then joined the indies band 閃-Hirameki-, under the new alias of Hiz, which is still around today. The bassist of Shizuku..., Yohma, retired from the visual scene after Medical Trance Peach disbanded, and went on to join the underground alternative band Undercover (which was later known as C-999), under his full name of Yutaka Tsuchiya (土屋豊). When Undercover/C-999 also disbanded in 2009, Yutaka then joined one last underground band, Candy Trip, which ultimately also disbanded in 2013. After Candy Trip's disintegration, Yutaka then retired from the underground music scene in general. The drummer of Shizuku..., Shiro, also retired from the visual scene after Medical Trance Peach split, and went on to join the short lived underground band Brash Roar, under the alias of Jiro. Jiro then formed one last underground alternative band, Engram, under his full name of Jiro Okada (岡田次朗). When Engram also split by early 2013, Jiro then officially retired from the underground music scene as well.
