True martyrs are those who gave their life for us fighting against the British. It makes me emotional thinking about the country love our heroes had and the vision of free Bharat that we are living in today. They remind us that we need to pass this country in a better way to every generation and not only think about ourselves. Did you watch the movie Gandhi that came in 1982? The movie won eight Academy Awards, including that for best picture, and five Golden Globe Awards, including that for best foreign film. Though it has been criticized for truncation of events, depictions of towering real-world figures and omissions of both historical and human scale, it gives you a wee bit of an idea.
BR Ambedkar is the main person who contributed in making India Constitution. Very visionary person. Like James Madison for u. But much greater life much hard struggles for he belong to Dalit caste still was one of most learned person in then India.

And to think both my nan and grandma were 8 years old when partition happened and they had to make that perilous journey across the border with their families. The main problem behind making a movie about the Indian partition is that there is clearly a side who is wrong, and nobody wants to talk about it. At least not in this PC culture scenario. The partition of India is one of the biggest pointless Migration that occurred in human history. It was caused by Muslims living in India. Almost all of them voted for the Muslim League in the elections for the INTERIM GOVERNMENT. Muslim league was raising the idea of a separate nation, on the basis of religion. Mostly Shia community of that time stated that Muslims can not live under the Rule of Kafir Hindus. (written in the manifesto of the Direct Action Day Plan) but they come to the conclusion that they can not get a separate nation because Britishers were against it, (at least Mountbatten was because he wanted a powerful united commonwealth nation as an ally.) Hence the launched Direct Action Day. They stated that it was the next Gajwah Ae Hind, either they will control the whole nation or they will get a separate nation. Riots started in the whole country on demand of the Muslim league. and finally, congress kneeled in front of the Muslims of India. And the irony is, mostly the Muslims who voted for the separation(Muslims from the united province Bihar, up and Bengal, and from the south region), they all stayed well in their homelands, mostly the Punjabis migrated.

So many countries in this world have got independence without partition, only in india the consent of people was not asked . A large country like indian subcontinent divided has been proved to be the most disturbed region in this planet for 70 plus years , all because of partition. Gandhi always said i wont let partition happen, but what action did he take to stop that. Jinnah killed thousands of hindus on DAD , and gandhi surrendered and let the partition happen. If there would have been any dynamic leader with a long term vision he would have done a civil war against jinnah defeated him and reclaimed the territory of our ancestors but gandhi avoided violence at that time only to create a 7 decades long rivalry with lakhs of people being killed in the subcontinent. Example : Abraham lincoln is the greatest president of america , he is also a father figure of the modern day USA , when several states declared their independence from US he first tried to solve things with peace but when these rebel states did not agree he declared a civil war against those states and won the war. Which resulted in the modern day geographical , economical and military giant that US is today. Imagine if US had been partioned like india, the lives of people in US could have been completley different they might have also fought several wars against each other.😑

So many countries in this world have got independence without partition, only in india the consent of people was not asked . A large country like indian subcontinent divided has been proved to be the most disturbed region in this planet for 70 plus years , all because of partition. Gandhi always said i wont let partition happen, but what action did he take to stop that. Jinnah killed thousands of hindus on DAD , and gandhi surrendered and let the partition happen. If there would have been any dynamic leader with a long term vision he would have done a civil war against jinnah defeated him and reclaimed the territory of our ancestors but gandhi avoided violence at that time only to create a 7 decades long rivalry with lakhs of people being killed in the subcontinent. Example : Abraham lincoln is the greatest president of america , he is also a father figure of the modern day USA , when several states declared their independence from US he first tried to solve things with peace but when these rebel states did not agree he declared a civil war against those states and won the war. Which resulted in the modern day geographical , economical and military giant that US is today. Imagine if US had been partioned like india, the lives of people in US could have been completley different they might have also fought several wars against each other.😑
