One of the better Tik Toks I've seen, is someone recreating Wii Sports Bowling in real life. They do the awkward aiming and throw, and show a strike, then towards the end, they show throwing the ball backwards and everyone jumping up and spinning. I got a kick of nostalgia out of that.
I feel like Wood doesn't give himself enough credit. i LOVE his videos, and I really value his opinion and what he has to say. Specifically when he does game reviews, I really like to know what he thinks and if he recommends the game. It's comforting to know that other people also see Wood this way as well. But honestly, these reaction videos are really funny and I'm loving them!
To me Wood is the BEST Switch content creator. Funny, chill, informative good vibes and wholesome. He also keeps it real with us for the most part and being himself so he deserves the love
A lot of the joy that comes from tik tok isn't exactly very different from what's on twitter or other platforms. Watching someone come up with a decently funny meme/ joke and then seeing that meme be done over and over until it's used for the most niche of interest and devolves into madness is really funny. You have to engage with the platform for a quite a bit before you start seeing that stuff.

The candle thing works because all the sensor bar cable does is supply power to the bar, no data is processed by the bar, so you could even use one plugged into a different Wii if you wanted to

I once used the reflection of the sun off of a moving vehicle while on a train to get myself into homebrew on my wii. 30 Hour train ride across Ontario I had to get crafty. The candle thing totally works.

i had rope lights in my old room for a couple of years and after our kitty at the time had eaten through the cable for the sensor. we couldn't play wii games for a bit but still wanted to use the gamecube portion. found out after trying to fix the cable that pointing the wii mote at the rope lights worked enough to get to the disc channel and start the gamecube game or just a virtual console game with gamepad support.

I loved the Hawkeye one. Wood just said, "Go Hawkeye, get it!" The very next thing he shot was an innocent man. Or a terrorist leader. We don't know what that Mii was doing. Maybe the entire island was full of terrorists that were going to do something. I don't know what they were planning. maybe, they were trying to release the horror of the Nintendo VR Console that Shall not be Named upon this world once again.
Some of those were actually pretty funny! The Pikachu was rather disturbing though! The breaking bad ones were the best. I’m sure there’s enough funny TikTok videos out there to do at least one more video!
