10:05: Super Smash Bros. Brawl is, infamously, the only entry in the series where you have a slight chance to trip every time you turn around. Due to its infamy, it's a running gag for some people to reference Brawl whenever anyone trips in any context because of how notorious this mechanic is. 16:54 This references Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff, a webcomic that is terrible on purpose. It is supposedly authored by the character Dave Strider from Homestuck. If you want to know what THAT is, it is available to read online for free so you can read it for yourself. Warning: When you read it, there's no going back. 21:26 This is a reference to what Syndrome, the villain from the movie The Incredibles, uses. It's basically the force from star wars but more precise. 31:26 This is a reference to... some space game whose title I don't remember. There was a feature where a text-to-speech voice reads out whatever you put in the chat, but it bugs out if you put in some gibberish, aeiou being the most popular example. 35:30 This references not one, but TWO fighting games. The movement and the KNEE is from the Super Smash Bros games, and the "YOU WIN, PERFECT" is from Streetfighter II (don't ask me which of the 50 versions it's from). Saving my progress here while I go about my day, I'll probably come back some other time.
Alright so, for missed references: "I warned you about stairs" is a recurring joke from Homestuck Chance Time is an event in Mario Party The calipers fail is a reference to Rollercoaster Tycoon Boomerang is a reference to one of the 3d "Legend of Zelda" games. Most likely Ocarina of time, but that mechanic appears in multiple games Y-type move is a play on Z-type moves from Pokémon Those are all the references you explicitly mentioned having missed, but you probably missed a lot more than that. If you're interested in learning about every single reference in the game, the channel 2 Left Thumbs has a 6 hour video that explains almost all of them.
2:28 fun fact: this game was made by the same people who made among us, there are some cameos in both games In among us, the airship from “infiltrating the airship” was made as a map in among us In Henry stickmin, many sound effects are used that are also used in among us, and there are many references to among us just hidden throughout (especially considering that Henry stickmin is jam-packed full of references from tons of different games).
Ah Henry. I love it so much! And yes, 100% you need to play Phoenix Wright, but it would take you quite a while, but it's one of my favorite game series
I did this a while ago. I got every achievement and bio, completely 100%ing the game. Idk why I did this. I actually almost completed it a long time ago but I couldn’t find one bio. For years I had everything done except for that single bio. I finally came back and finished it. Pretty epic game. :)
the whole thing after henry said Wololo is a reference to age of empires, theres a troop that says Wololo and converts enemy troops to your side, by changing their color lol, so when he changed the hat thats what it represented. If you put the evoker near a blue sheep, he says Wololo and turns it red!
the "BUNP" achievement is a reference to homestuck. the character dave draws an intentionally shitty serious of comics called "sweet bro and hella jeff", which is also a real comic available on homestucks website. the very first sbahj comic has a guy falling down the stairs, with the iconic line "i WARNED you about stairs bro, i told you dog." I believe that the name "bunp" is named after another different sbahj comic, but i don't remember which one.
1:19:06 Wololo is an Age of Empire Reference. In AoE is a Unit named Priest. He can convince enemies to switch teams and he yells "Wololo" when convincing enemies
Wololo is an age of empires 1 reference. The priests can convert enemies and make this "wololooo" and one other noise I cant put into words. Narwi in turn is a typical unit response. Wololo is from age of empires, you could us a priest to convert enemy units. The boomerang is from zelda. There's more but I can't remember which ones you missed otherwise
Okay why are there so many Stardew Valley youtuber's 100%ing games, keep in mind that I love having so much content to watch. But I can name three of the top of my head: Waligug (this channel), Seanie Dew and Floydson. Which just seems crazy to me, like does every Stardew youtuber evolve into a 100% youtuber at some point. Okay that's the end of my rant, hope you enjoyed, I'll continue to watch the video now.
its probably some kind of mix of burnout and trend following. no hate at all to any of the creators, but 100% videos have been increasingly popular with stardew valley on the decline, and the 100% definitely takes less creative effort (you can just follow an online tutorial). imo its kind of saturating the market, but if everyones happy and the creators can have a more stable job then whats there to complain about
@@hammyblammy Yea it's most likely that and it would be no surprise to me if the people watching also get bored if every video is about the same game, so switching the games up and adding a twist of 100%ing them to spice things up makes sense. But I don't think using an online tutorial is a common occurrence for the 100%ers that I watch, since it really does look like they are playing the game for the 1st time and I think using a guide when you are really stuck somewhere is fine if you do it rarely.
As much as I love the Ace Attorney series, I wouldn’t recommend you 100% them as a video because of the game’s linear nature and how frustrating it would be to watch.
1:16:50 Definitely a reference to the opening for Metal Gear Solid 3. The whole 'first HALO jump' bit. I mean, Henry Stickman is basically nothing BUT references (flash is from League of Legends, for instance) but you get my point. :P
Yo Guggie boy, you should definitely 100% Slime Rancher, it's a very fun and cute game that would make a pretty good video and it's not a hard or long 100% too, at least from what I've seen.
This video took so long to make oh my god please subscribe

As someone who's been to court it's not guilty n innocent are not the same n they say not guilty when u win your trial cuz your already innocent
I’m still surprised people remember this game
And I’m happy
The wrist grappling hook is a reference to the game just cause where the dude has a grappling hook and a wing suit and is just a badass that blows stuff up.

HEY BOBBY PLAY THAT ONE WITH ME FALLING DOWN THE STAIRS
Hey peter i need you in the kitchen

AAAH
OUUGH
EEAAH
OOOAAH
OOOOW
theres more but BUNP is a classic as its bassically all stair jokes
Well the image is specifically a reference to Homestuck
i didnt say it so others would find out themselves

@@GOLD-o3l fair enough
23:00 the robo pants is the thing from Wallace and Gromit
That stair reference from the gem heist game is from the webcomic Homestuck. They have a shitty joke comic in the webcomic called "Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff" and one of the jokes was a guy falling down the stairs non-stop and the other going "I warned you bout those stairs man!"
gugglet is playing another childhood game of mine sips hot cocoa ayep. time to binge watch this
Wololo is from age of empires, you could us a priest to convert enemy units. The boomerang is from zelda. There's more but I can't remember which ones you missed otherwise
I've watched people 100% this game but it never gets old
Okay why are there so many Stardew Valley youtuber's 100%ing games, keep in mind that I love having so much content to watch.
But I don't think using an online tutorial is a common occurrence for the 100%ers that I watch, since it really does look like they are playing the game for the 1st time and I think using a guide when you are really stuck somewhere is fine if you do it rarely.
as the 4th sdv youtuber turned 100 percenter: BECAUSE IT SCRATCHES THE ITCH IN MY BRAIN
@@LIZZYRAE lol, guess a lot of stardew youtubers have that itch that needs to be scratched.
I managed to do it in 13.5 hours. Great game, I highly recommend playing it.
PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU DO ACE ATTORNEY
The among us plushes are an among us reference, just so you know
The binary code from Stealing The *Emerald's* Translation is "fear missingno".
PLAY ACE ATTORNEY MATE, IT'S STRAIGHT FIRE !!
love this series! i did a 100% myself, the bios were the worst part but it was worth it
As much as I love the Ace Attorney series, I wouldn’t recommend you 100% them as a video because of the game’s linear nature and how frustrating it would be to watch.
If you want a series I would recommend, since you enjoy flash games, consider the Don’t Escape series.
the subscribe animation was actually insane
1:40:20 This boomerang is specifically from the legend of zelda windwaker. You throw it at enimies to stun, and you can also retrieve items with it
1:16:50
Definitely a reference to the opening for Metal Gear Solid 3. The whole 'first HALO jump' bit.
I mean, Henry Stickman is basically nothing BUT references (flash is from League of Legends, for instance) but you get my point. :P
Glad to see that this game isn’t dead.
Nice to see this masterpiece is not forgotten
The amount of dedication this takes is mad u deserve to have overr1 million subscribers ngl keep up the good work ❤❤❤
I did not know it was the creators of Henry Stickman made the game.
YES PLEASE PLAY THE ACE ATTORNEY GAMES I BEG 😢😢
uhg, schaloooobbbb... **gun shots**
i love this game, i glad its not dead. they need more.
You missed an ending in escaping the prison... for presenting the wrong evidence
Ace Attorney would be awesome!
Yo Guggie boy, you should definitely 100% Slime Rancher, it's a very fun and cute game that would make a pretty good video and it's not a hard or long 100% too, at least from what I've seen.
