Loved hearing Kyle at end “I feel bad I even felt that way” lol valid but hey, you see the light now. There’s a multitude of reasons they’re my favorite band!
The clip talks about a state of self-sabotage, where you repeat the same mistakes every day, the car is a representation of his life, which when repeating the same processes every day ends up getting the same result, so at the end of the clip he finds himself in the car again, on the same road, in the same way "I truly don't have a chance Tomorrow I'll keep a beat And repeat yesterday's dance"

I just recently saw them live in Phoenix Arizona for the icy tour, the way they play live is insane. they incorporated the entire crowd for the show. all the way from the top of the stadium to the pit.
This is such a great song and music video. To explain- Tyler wears paint on his neck and hands to represent his doubts and anxieties- his neck because of his singing, and his hands because of the lyrics he writes. This song is from the band’s album Blurryface. Blurryface is a personification of all of Tyler’s anxieties and self doubts. The car represents Tyler’s mind and is literally a car too. Blurryface is driving the falling apart car, meaning that Tyler’s anxieties are controlling him, and his mind and self are falling apart. Josh, part of his personal support system, is there to help Tyler, but he remains trapped in the car. In the song, Tyler is asking someone to save him, which is what is seen in the video. At the snippet at the end, we see Tyler is still in the car being driven somewhere. This is the first video of a four video series, with the next three being Jumpsuit, Nico & The Niners, and Levitate, where we see where exactly Tyler was driven. Really enjoy the reaction.
Loving these reactions! The appreciation you guys have for the music and the creativity on display is great. Tyler (the frontman) has VERY tight creative control over every aspect of the band, including music videos, merch, live shows, album covers, etc. He's very particular, to the point of being a perfectionist, and definitely has a vision to go along with the music. Looking forward to the next one!
@@lauriwest435awww Thank you sweetheart! We're allowed to be biased right? LOL Kyle says he hates it and it will grow back, I say it's just nice to see his face for a little while 😄💜

@@Rykerroad yes!!! The Trilogy is awesome and you needed to see Car Radio and HeavyDirtySoul as prequels….so y’all have done them! The rabbit hole is deep my brothers.✌️😎
Glad to hear this song done for reaction! But I would like to ask/hear in the comments for the sake of Kyle and Eric, what are some ways everyone has seen so these guys don’t run in to copyright holds anymore? My guess is the blurred video was what they had to do to get the blockage taken off and allow them to show their reaction. I’ve seen that some other reactors have made the video disappear while they are paused to talk about the music. Would that help with disruption and keep the copyrights off? Let’s get these guys some more ideas so they can react without the stress of getting slapped with copyright by the TH-cam police!
You nailed it! Get this, we got slammed with a BLOCK due to video, even though the first time around we scaled down, reversed and put our logo over the music video. When we uploaded it again? The gave us a Copyright Claim due to audio. Mind you, audio wasn't even recognized as an issue the first time. It's like the powers that be look for anything they can, even though FEDERAL LAW supports fair use. Either way, if they want to play games, we'll trick the system any way we can! Thanks for watching!
@@Rykerroad AFAIK Content ID stops looking for matches once it's found a match. Audio also wasn't an issue the first time because the issue the first time was audiovisual.
I just found your channel today and I am loving the reactions! I got to see them in concert and they put Josh on a piece of plywood and those in the crowd held him up while he was drumming and it was amazing.
There is so much I could say, but I’ll just say this for now: that car comes back in other videos because these guys tell a STORY with their music/albums/music videos. It is a big ol’ piece of symbolism. Loved how into it y’all got! Keep the TOP coming!
Welcome to the early stages of becoming hooked on TØP and learning all the depth of meaning. The journey is worth the time. Love how you guys are doing this. Keep it up! The clik will lead you
My favorite TOP song is usually the last one I heard. Even if you go back to the stuff Tyler did in his basement as a teen recording “No Phun Intended” he has always been to brilliant.
YES! Love all the 21 pilots content from you guys. They are AMAZING in concert, saw them this year. Highly recommend going to one of their shows if you can.
The good thing about this band is they also have a TON of behind the scenes for music videos and or tours, etc. I think you guys would love watching them.
You guys should react to a live version of this song (for example pinkpop 2022). He does the last part with screaming and it just hits on new levels that you didnt even know existed :)
I really enjoy your reactions and can't wait for more. This song is basically the start of the DEMA storyline where a lot of the Twenty One Pilots lore starts to get padded out. Following this track is Jumpsuit then Nico and the Niners followed by Levitate so that might be a good idea for the next reactions. After that, there are tracks like Shy Away, Choker, The Outside, Never Take It, No Chances, Redecorate, Chlorine, Neon Gravestones, Cut My Lip, Fairly Local, Doubt, Message Man, Goner, Holding On To You, Migraine, Fake You Out, Trees, Forest, Kitchen Sink, Fall Away, Trapdoor, Taxi Cab, Isle Of Flightless Birds.... the list goes on. That list started from newer tracks going back to the older stuff but it might make sense to flip it and start from the beginning to see how they've changed over the years These guys are one of those bands that will go down in history because they've got both vision and talent in spades. They don't settle for anything other than perfection of the art and they nail it every time. Can't wait to see more from you guys. Welcome to the Clique
You mentioned wishing you could see more of their behind the scenes stuff and how they produce their music. This video actually has a behind the scenes “making of the vid” type thing where you can watch some of their process. They put one out with each of their official videos. You’d enjoy watching them on your own time I’m sure. Also…once you get to Trench…there’s a song called The Hype. It has a regular video but then Tyler reconstructed it in a studio and you can see his process. It’s very cool! It would be neat to do a reaction back to back to the original then watch the Berlin studio one! Top fans would eat that up. The guy is mesmerizing to watch. His IQ must be pretty high. I’d love to interview him. 😅
Yes! I love the Berlin Session version of The Hype! But they should watch the original video first. It makes a good reaction video when they are done back-to-back since they are so different. It really showcases Tyler’s talent and creativity.
The Fox show Gotham named episodes after songs for a time, and season 3 ep 22 was titled heavydirtysoul. Also Stressed Out was used on Supergirl, which was great cos I watched that ep while waiting to see a doctor to get referred for emergency surgery, which happened.
Their concept story for the music is incredible and so complex it takes ages to write it down like this. I would recommend watching some videos on tøp lore. This one is from Blurryface era. That album is the first one in history to have every track be certified by the RIAA
There is always meaning in everything they do - messages in the songs and videos. Blurryface was driving the car and then you will see in the video that there was no driver towards the end. The car often represents life - the journey you take. You’ll see it was going round in a loop - they often talk about cycles, and getting out/breaking the cycle. So much imagery in their videos and songs representing metaphors with life and struggles.
been loving your guys’ tøp reactions! as well as the slaughter to prevail and lorna shore reactions. yall always make my day better 🤘🏻 idk if you guys take suggestions from comments but yall NEED to react to them performing their song “Trees” live at the Fox Theater. crazy concert i actually just saw them live in san francisco 2 weeks ago and they are still just as badass as they were years ago
it all comes from just them. mainly tyler (singer, songwriter, overall fucking genius). can't wait for you both to listen to Jumpsuit. idk if you are ready to dive in into the entire universe they've built. it's a lot of lore to take in. nice to see eric has been taking some notes.
We for sure are gonna have to explain the lore and videos. I am not that person but there are those that can explain it! It gets so cool! I have heard we have one more album left to finish this lore story! But tons of songs to go thru until then! Whoohoo can’t wait for more!
Kyle, you look like a completely different person! You are like my husband, clean shavin, y'all look so young!! Also, I love that I can click like on all your videos before even watching, because they never dissapoint. 💜
To continue the saga you will need to watch Jumpsuit next. Follow that up with Nico and the nines, then Levitate. The story co times from there with the next album. Tyler is a genius. He with the help from Josh create every aspect. Songs, music, videos, live shows and all of the small things that go with the "lore". Blurryface is driving. He's the Bishop who is most concerned with Tyler. There is a whole storyline to these. It's all tied together in not just music and videos but also with websites, livee performances, social media and the even had a livestream event that was the best thing I've seen. I love when new people find Twenty one pilots and understand them.
just found you guys and I'm hooked! love love love your reactions. you can see your love of the music on upur faces. totally authentic music fans! love it
These guys put so much effort into their music, and almost as much into their LORE. If you want a journey and a fricken-half, research their lore, it is INSANE. Great vid too guys, keep it up 👊
I would deffo recommend watching the Trench Trilogy from them: Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners and then Levitate. It expands the character of blurryface massively into a Universe called Dema that tries to control those who live within its walls and so the series (and the album Trench itself) is about Tyler trying to escape Dema
my kid likes to blast this one in the car... there is something awesomely hilarious about hearing an 8 year old belting out "can you save my heavy dirty soul!". love your reactions!
As others may have said, this leads into the trilogy of jumpsuit, nico and the niners, and levitate. ( in that order) Just know that through their albums they have created a whole other world and storyline to follow that continues from album to album. It's easy to get lost, but just take each song for what it is. Jam to their beats, dive into the lyrics, or better yet....do both. Please show the deep tracks love, they are all bangers. Just pick an album and press play. Keep it up, you guys rock!
Idk how you guys haven’t done stressed out yet you’ll love the video. Especially because if the nostalgia. And this song actually comes from a street poetry video Tyler put out way before this song even came out. You even get to hear the character blurry face at the end of that video. It just goes to show how much thought they put behind everything. And I know you guys already heard migraine, car radio, and holding onto you, but please listen to those three songs live captured in the live room. It will blow you away with how intimate the performance is because it’s just them two in a small studio going crazy trust me please watch it it’s amazing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Funny you mention NF. NF mentions Tøp in one of his songs. Blurryface is driving. And this video is a loop because Tyler is in a loop. There's so much in their videos!
plese react to isle of flightless birds, holding onto you, addict with a pen, the judge, Kitchen Sink, neon gravestone, screen these are the ones I like where they rap
Oh you guys gotta go through the rest of the video series they have! There's an order starting with this song ❤️ Order after this song: Jumpsuit > Nico and the niners > Levitate > chlorine > Saturday> The Outside Chlorine and Saturday will seem out of place. But theyre part of it in a way. Lol they make sense for the last video.
Now you have to do the Trench album trilogy. But you need to learn some Dema lore to understand the concept behind the Blurryface, Trench, and SAI albums
I just stumbled upon you guys a couple days ago and discovered your reactions to NF, which is my favorite rap singer of all time. Twenty one Pilots is on the same level as NF, but as a “group” where the singer can also rap. They also sound different song by song and album by album. They’re phenomenal. To be absolutely blown away look up their collab with Mutemath.
basically the man driving is blurry face aka insecurities given form. the black neck symbolizes anxiety and not being able to say what you want/ tightness in ur thought, but he sings anyway. the guy drumming is josh dun and him drumming while almost getting hit symbolizes how he doesnt care if he gets hit he just want to save his friend. the car falling apart symbolizes him being able to escape being "driven" by his anxiety and using music to escape it.
ooooh they diving into the trilogy!!!!! lets go!!! im so ready! in this orderr boys: heavydirtysoul, jumpsuit, nico and the niners, levitate! this set literally saved my life and helped explain my depression to my friends!
this is the prequel for jumpsuit, nico and the niners and levitate, thats a short story from trench. One more long it's the whole album in order but is more complex. Good reaction, keep it up (also, the album blurryface describes and presents an alter ego of tyler called after blurryface too) (the one driving is a bishop. There's nine of them but thats another story. One of them is called Nico (Nicholas Bourbaki and is very related to blurryface))
Great reaction! Love seeing you get into TOP's awesomeness!! As for sleeping on them, haha, these words come to mind... "We've been here the whole time. You were asleep. Time to wake up," - Tyler Joseph says as he jumps off the burnt up heavydirtysoul car at the beginning of the Jumpsuit video. HDS is a pre-qual to the Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners, and Levitate music video trilogy. Glad you two have arrived, welcome to the Clique! 💙🤍💙
This is the unofficial official prequel of the trilogy story thru music videos they done for the Trench album area. I don't know if you'll be sticking with older song then slowly moving forward in discography or just random picks but I can't wait to for you to get to Trench songs

Great reaction as always, I just have a question. What happened to ronnie radke "I wash cars"? I remember it was on your list but I don't see it anymore... 😕
By the way, in their second to most recent tour, the Bandito Tour, they used this burning car as a recurring symbol. At the beginning of the show, they both would stand on top of the burning car (which was in the back of the stage) and the car would stay there in the background the entire show
“What kind of music do you make?” Tyler: “Yes”
Tyler said in an interview that it is schizophrenic pop
“Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit “. So clever. They have a whole storyline of an alternate world of DEMA you can dive into
That line has always gone so unnecessarily hard. It’s one of my favorite lines in their whole discography
I love this comment more now.

@@rykerroadMOM3123 Yes, he does! From one boy mom to another, you got some good looking boys there Mama!!
@@lauriwest435awww Thank you sweetheart! We're allowed to be biased right? LOL Kyle says he hates it and it will grow back, I say it's just nice to see his face for a little while 😄💜
@@rykerroadMOM3123 Biased? Nahhh, not MAMAS!! LOL, maybe a little.
My youngest has had his face covered for so long that I may not recognize him if he shaved it off. 🥸
people seemed surprised by what they can do. They are very popular in Ohio and got their breakthrough here. Glad you're listening to them and giving them a chance. Love watching you guys react 🤪
Love this song. Love you guys. So glad you dropped this one today!!! Just had to say that before I even watch.
Let’s go!!!!!!!! Music Junkies!!!!!!!!
Glad you were able to get this up Psychos…..good job!
Let’s go!! |-/ does this mean The Trilogy is next?? Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners and Levitate??
let's cross our fingers!
Oh yes!!
A trilogy you say?
@@Rykerroad yes!!! The Trilogy is awesome and you needed to see Car Radio and HeavyDirtySoul as prequels….so y’all have done them! The rabbit hole is deep my brothers.✌️😎
Yasss
There are a lot of behind the scenes videos for their videos AND the concerts. They are fun to watch as well. So glad you are enjoying them still.
I really love the video for this song but live takes it to a new level because Tyler adds a scream near the end.. ❤
Yea i love it. Only bad thing about it is it makes me disappointed in the studio version lol
@@Odd1006 every time I hear it my mind plays the scream, same disappointment..l wish he had added it to the original
@@SherryBandito lol same cant help but hear it
@@Odd1006 it often leads me to listening to the live version after to “ fix it “ in my mind lol
Right, the studio version is good until you hear it live. Shy Away is like this. I need the bigger live version, I NEED the scream.
LET'S GO BOYS!!!
I just found your channel today and I am loving the reactions! I got to see them in concert and they put Josh on a piece of plywood and those in the crowd held him up while he was drumming and it was amazing.
Thanks for the love!
@@Rykerroad You deserve it!!
If you want some more twenty one pilots, I would recommend Goner, Ruby and Lovely
That list started from newer tracks going back to the older stuff but it might make sense to flip it and start from the beginning to see how they've changed over the years
These guys are one of those bands that will go down in history because they've got both vision and talent in spades.
It really showcases Tyler’s talent and creativity.
here for more pilots
The Fox show Gotham named episodes after songs for a time, and season 3 ep 22 was titled heavydirtysoul.
Also Stressed Out was used on Supergirl, which was great cos I watched that ep while waiting to see a doctor to get referred for emergency surgery, which happened.
Their concept story for the music is incredible and so complex it takes ages to write it down like this. I would recommend watching some videos on tøp lore. This one is from Blurryface era. That album is the first one in history to have every track be certified by the RIAA
There's a video called street poetry with Twenty One Pilots that they released a couple of years before this song. The lyrics are a lot slower in it
I love that video.
YEEES, MORE TWENTY ONE PILOTS!!! 🔥❤️🔥❤️
i've been waiting for this!
This is for sure one of my favorites for upbeat songs of theirs. Fairly Local and Chlorine are other great ones to check out.
been loving your guys’ tøp reactions! as well as the slaughter to prevail and lorna shore reactions. yall always make my day better 🤘🏻
idk if you guys take suggestions from comments but yall NEED to react to them performing their song “Trees” live at the Fox Theater. crazy concert
i actually just saw them live in san francisco 2 weeks ago and they are still just as badass as they were years ago
Recommend Twenty One Pilots - Fairly Local
it all comes from just them. mainly tyler (singer, songwriter, overall fucking genius). can't wait for you both to listen to Jumpsuit. idk if you are ready to dive in into the entire universe they've built. it's a lot of lore to take in. nice to see eric has been taking some notes.
I'm begging them to hear the live version of HDS 🙏
Almost to 40,000 subs Let's GOOOOOOO!!!!
I love when new people find Twenty one pilots and understand them.
just found you guys and I'm hooked! love love love your reactions. you can see your love of the music on upur faces. totally authentic music fans! love it
one of the things that I love about heavydirtysoul is the fact that it sounds like "wombat" at the end and i cannot unhear it.
He's creating a distraction to escape again
Love yalls reaction and energy!!! These guys are my fav band all time and been to 3 shows so far amazing live … please stay on this train my guys
love watching reactors, and i just found you guys lol not gonna lie 8:07 took me by surprise with the giant fish bowl lmao
Yes the black thing on his nick and hands it’s represent his insecurities (his voice and his music writing )
Heavydirtysoul live in unmantched
Awesomeness! This is my fave TOP song (glad you're on to NF too :)
my kid likes to blast this one in the car... there is something awesomely hilarious about hearing an 8 year old belting out "can you save my heavy dirty soul!". love your reactions!
What I like about the video is that it doesn't really contain that much. No big cgi or lots of actors or anything. And yet you are immediately in.
I’m so excited to see your reaction but first I wanna say that you should react to jumpsuit music video as soon as possible love you guys ❤
There is also a lot of lore in this band and it’s something to look into. In this video specifically, hes being driven to a place called Dema.
Yooo let's go!
Some recs. Addict with a pen. Holding on to you. Guns for Hands. Ride. Levitate. Chlorine. Hometown
When does nf mention tøp
@@Nxbulah_ the song Know
5:13 that is one gigantic cup wtf lol
plese react to isle of flightless birds, holding onto you, addict with a pen, the judge, Kitchen Sink, neon gravestone, screen these are the ones I like where they rap
Kyle would love the live version of this song. Huge scream at the end!!
Oh you guys gotta go through the rest of the video series they have! There's an order starting with this song ❤️
Order after this song: Jumpsuit > Nico and the niners > Levitate > chlorine > Saturday> The Outside
Chlorine and Saturday will seem out of place. But theyre part of it in a way. Lol they make sense for the last video.
Love this! You should check out Fairly Local. I think you guys would love it!
1:37
I love how Kyle, being a metal head is vibing more than Eric being a hip hop head with a hip hop song
bro this isnt hip hop
Now you have to do the Trench album trilogy. But you need to learn some Dema lore to understand the concept behind the Blurryface, Trench, and SAI albums
I just stumbled upon you guys a couple days ago and discovered your reactions to NF, which is my favorite rap singer of all time. Twenty one Pilots is on the same level as NF, but as a “group” where the singer can also rap. They also sound different song by song and album by album. They’re phenomenal. To be absolutely blown away look up their collab with Mutemath.
Waiting for them to do " ride" and realize that it's them
😹😹😹
Yes 😼
basically the man driving is blurry face aka insecurities given form. the black neck symbolizes anxiety and not being able to say what you want/ tightness in ur thought, but he sings anyway. the guy drumming is josh dun and him drumming while almost getting hit symbolizes how he doesnt care if he gets hit he just want to save his friend. the car falling apart symbolizes him being able to escape being "driven" by his anxiety and using music to escape it.
ooooh they diving into the trilogy!!!!! lets go!!! im so ready! in this orderr boys: heavydirtysoul, jumpsuit, nico and the niners, levitate! this set literally saved my life and helped explain my depression to my friends!
Isle of flightless birds please. Love the reactions. Keep up the good work!
thisss, this is the beginning of all, enojoy it and listen jumpsuit
This video is from 2013: it was “street poetry” but ultimately became the verses in heavydirtysoul:

Can’t wait to see this reaction, as a TØP Stan/nerd I love seeing people react to them! CLIQUE FOREVER
The car = his body/life. Same as it was in Car Radio
this is the prequel for jumpsuit, nico and the niners and levitate, thats a short story from trench. One more long it's the whole album in order but is more complex. Good reaction, keep it up
(also, the album blurryface describes and presents an alter ego of tyler called after blurryface too)
(the one driving is a bishop.
Found you thru TOP and really enjoy your videos. You should do “the hype” then “the hype Berlin” on the same video. That will sow you their diversity
Definitely check them out live!! The best concert ever!!
You need to watch the live performance of this
You guys should react to their live sessions with Mutemath. They make it even great!
This is my favorite song as of yet by them
This is the unofficial official prequel of the trilogy story thru music videos they done for the Trench album area.

Really enjoying those reactions man ! Holding on to you next ✌
By the way, in their second to most recent tour, the Bandito Tour, they used this burning car as a recurring symbol. At the beginning of the show, they both would stand on top of the burning car (which was in the back of the stage) and the car would stay there in the background the entire show
