Tyler has INCREDIBLE stage presence. Even people I know that aren't the biggest fans of their music have walked away from their concerts going "They put on one hell of a show!"
I am 51! Just went for my fifth show in the pit about 15 feet from the stagewith my 25-yo daughter. This is absolutely the best live band I have ever seen!!!
Dad is 52, was 49 when he took my best friend and I to Emotional Roadshow. This was the first concert he’d taken us to where he was unfamiliar with the band. First thing he said when we got in the car to leave, “man. Those two boys can really put on a show”. Just this last year he had told me that he listened to Scaled and Icy and was disappointed too find they weren’t coming to a city near us
@@StarfallStream I LOVE THAT! We have been to Bandito St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati, Takeover night 3 in Columbus (a seven hour drive...)and Icy Tour in St. Louis last month. Missed out on Emotional Roadshow.
This is one of my favorite twenty one pilot songs. When you get a chance you should check out the original video. Tyler has always impressed me for a million reasons but one of those is …that he sounds just as good live as he does on the album. He doesn’t have to alter songs because he can’t hit notes live. The man just blows my mind with all his talents. 🤯
I saw them in Berkely right after blurry face dropped and they werent super big at the greek theater and got to hold him up too! One of my favorite memories from the show
he did this at another show i was one of the ppl lucky enough to hold him up.... held his hand for balance if i wasn't already in love with him that solidified it amazing experience
5:12 “check out my drummer cuz he knows he’s fuckin fire”. No truer words will be spoken on your reactions. It is a true partnership. Tyler produces and writes but Josh integrates the drums to make the songs dramatically better.
Yes! Your facial expressions said it all. Now just imagine your reaction to this small snippet of their live show and multiply it times a thousand. There is a reason they built up such a strong loyal core fan base - it’s largely their live performance. The energy and connection with the audience is unreal. Like you said: “The live show is enough to draw you in.” 💯 Tyler is very meticulous when thinking through the set list, not only building seamless transitions, but also factoring in where he tends to run around a lot, or audience engagement aspects. And his vocals aren’t easy, but he nails them each and every time. Plus they work really closely with the lighting designer. Each tour has a different look and feel. And Josh … his energy is electric. They knew that if it was just going to be two of them filling a stage that they would need to do things that keep the audience engaged. He is so much fun to watch behind that drum kit. He also controls cueing in the tracks. Since they still live in Columbus, they love performing in Ohio. So the next tour they announce, you gotta see them! Other live videos to check out: - Trees Live from the Fox Theater. This is how they end each concert. - Goner also Live from the Fox Theater, but pair it with the earlier short video of just Tyler and his ukulele. Watch that one first. It will make you appreciate the Fox Theater one even more. - Fall Away live featuring Dr Blum (trumpet). Dr Blum is from MisterWives and they did a live version of Fall Away when they were touring together. Dr Blum was also part of the SAI Band for the Scaled and Icy tours. - Heathens collaboration with Stranger Things, live from Romania (this one is recent) - Neon Gravestones Live from BBC Radio 1 - just Tyler on piano. So powerful. - TOPxMM: MuteMath Sessions. This one is incredible! There was so much talent in that room collaborating as if they had been playing together for years! The best part is the “drumversation” between Josh Dun and Darren King at the end of Lane Boy - Another fun session video is “The Hype - Berlin Session” but watch the original video first. Do them together. Tyler totally reconstructs the song and it’s done in a vlog style so you can see his creative process. - And if you want to see something fun and quirky, watch Tyler do a cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” - the Elvis song unlike any other version you’ve heard
Excellent comment. You covered all the things I was going to say. I appreciate that you added how each tour is different. I’ve only seen them twice….Bandito tour and Icy tour. That was one of the main things I noticed. Both were equally incredible, while being completely different. Thanx fren. ✌🏻😊
@@thebluecollarbibleguy5114 yes, “Addict With a Pen” from UG Studios is pure raw emotion. It’s from 2011, not long after Josh joined twenty one pilots and they became a duo.
I went to a twenty one pilots concert a couple months ago. Hands down the best concert I've ever been to. You guys need to go if you can, you will not regret it
Tyler is I think the only musician on Earth who can accurately claim to have a 10 foot vertical leap. The man goes crazy always AND still manages to sound flawless.
I went to a concert of theirs back in 2016/2017 I was 36- 37 years old I must say this was the most amazing concert I've ever been to. My daughter got me into them, since I'm Hispanic all i listen to is Hispanic music for the most part. Man, they put on a show I had learned some of their songs since my daughter always blasted their music in the house lol Even my husband that doesn't speak a word of English enjoyed the concert! I haven't really liked their last album much, a lot changed with them of course this pandemic didn't help but still loveee them & cherish those dope memories when I went to go see them with the kids at prudential center in Newark N.J
Twenty One Pilots Live are literally one of the best acts I have ever seen, and I've seen literally 43 different bands. From The Killers to Elton John. They are incredible.
This song has my absolute favourite lyrics of all time with "fight it, take the pain, ignite it. Tie a noose around your mind, loose enough to breathe fine and tie it, to a tree, tell it 'you belong to me, this ain't a noose this is a leash and I have news for you, you must obey ME'" And I'm sad they didn't pick up on it 😅
Trees “Live at the Fox” with speech is going to blow you away. Goner live at the Fox Theater is awesome as well. Pretty much anything you can find live is amazing. Their live performances are on another level.👍
Omfg I haven't heard this song live in a long time and I'm just as blown away as you wow... my heart was racing, my adrenaline is up and I can just feel the passion
I've seen them twice. Once as a newer duo as a stage in a festival with like 50 people and one in a stadium. They put on a monster show. I didn't click with their music at first, but their show did it.
pilots shows are truly a one of a kind experience. the connection they have with us is unmatched, we need them as much as they need much and as we like to say in the fan base “their concerts are a celebration of life” if you can ever go see them, do it
Its like being on a roller coaster, the adrenaline doesnt stop until the song is finished. And then when it is over you get that final rush pass over you. It's amazing.
I have been to quite a few shows. From stripped down with just a guitar, to full production with huge crews….these guys smoke everyone I have ever seen live. Seen then 3 times and I got chills every time. The first time I saw them was them opening and THAT is how I started following them was seeing them live before I knew them.
I love watching this song live. Also always love Tyler's jumps, even now he's talking about getting old and less physical then he proceeds to do the splits in the air. 😂
They were just in Cleveland on Aug 30th. I was a great show and also different from previous tours. Once you get through some of their music you will appreciate their MTV "unplugged". It was amazing and I would love to be at one of those types of shows the do periodically.
Your faces !!!😂😂😂 That alone bought a smile to my face. Seeing you react to them live with such joy made me miss seeing them live so much. Truly the best concerts I’ve ever attended. Always thinking outside of the box Tyler is OCD about making it the best experience for everybody no matter what & Joshs energy on the drums is contagious. Every clikkie knows which moments live I can’t wait to see but I will not mention them & spoil the reaction but one of my biggest memories of the emotional roadshow tour was them ‘crowd surfing’ by running over the crowd in a giant inflatable hamster ball!! Trees live at fox, fall away with dr Blum, goner at fox, Tyler on bbc radio one neon gravestones & cover of 9 crimes. ……. And just every other song by them 😅
I love how y'all see them like I do. Their live shows are the most amazing I have ever seen...I've been twice and they are just so interactive with their audience and such genuine great guys. I love your reactions so far (new subscriber) and will have to keep watching. :)
Recommendation list in order to understand the growth of the band and meaning behind their lyrics (last albums are conceptual): 1st lane : Vessel album - Ode to sleep (music video) - Car radio (music video) - holding on to you (music video or live from Fox theater) - guns for hands (music video) - migraine (The live room version) - trees (live from fox theater ! - song with one of the biggest meaning for Tyler , he wrote it a looong time ago in high school ) 2nd line : blurryface album - stressed out (music video, huge song that made them so popular right now) - lane boy (music video) - ride (live from Fox theater) - hometown (lyrics video) - tear in my heart (music video) - the judge (lyrics video) - fairy local (music video) - message man (lyrics video) - goner (live from fox theatre , ending of the album) - Heavydirtysoul ( music video - this one is the connection to the next album, start of storyline) 3rd line : Trench album - jumpsuit ( music video , connected to hvdrtsl) - nico and the niners (music video, next one in saga) - levitate (music video, next one in saga) - chlorine (music video) - the hype (BOTH, album and Berlin session versions ) - my blood (music video) - pet cheetah (lyrics video) - morph (lyrics video, a bit of connection to storyline) - Heathens ( music video, spin off, not from any album but have a lot of small connections to story) - neon gravestones (lyrics video, influence to the story) - legend (lyrics video) - bandito (lyrics video, huge connection in storyline) - leave the city ( lyrics video, ending of era ) 4th line : Scaled and Icy album - Shy away (music video) - Choker (music video) - Saturday (music video) - Outside (music video) - No chances - Redecorate 5th line (extra) - TOP x Mutemath session - stripped down storyteller session by Tyler - MTV unplugged session - kitchen sink (live version) - fall away (feat dr. 21 Pilots r one of the greatest live artists ever!!!!! It’s truly a euphoric experience seeing them live!!! The energy, the emotion, the music…….. AMAZING!!!
Trees live at Fox Theater, The Judge live at Fox Theater, Ode to Sleep Live, Car Radio live at Rock Werchter (its a current performance) I really like Migraine in the live room, Their MTV unplugged is phenomenal and ‘Addict with a pen’ live ug studios is my favourite sad one
Their concerts are so energetic, I can never fall asleep after getting home from one of their live performances, their performances wake up every cell in my body
OH, their recent concert at Southside festival is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Seen it 3 times now! 🤗🤗🤗🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶✌️😁 NEW FAVORITE! 🥳🥳🥳🥳😎🦸♀️ WAIT till you see Josh play drums IN the crowd! yes I said IN(Crowd holds the set up)🤯🤯🤷♀️🤪😁✌️
Great seeing twenty one pilots.. the perfect way to start my day. .. thanks! Twenty one pilots live is just a new level ..very few bands are as good as much better live than the original..but Tyler does it every time, every song 🥰
I could not wait to see your reaction to Josh doing his signature back flip. You two did not disappoint! Now to see you react to the ending of Trees. Or to see Josh's drum island. This last tour Tyler crowd surfed on an air matress. Please watch TREES LIVE FROM FOX THEATER. All of their live performances are solid btw. I've seen them 3 times live. They are insane live.
If you ever get a chance to see TOP live.. do it. You will not be disappointed. They are incredible live. It's so much fun. They know how to put on a show! Also TOP recommendation: there's a series of videos. Like INK in a way! You started it with Heavydirtysoul. Next would be "JUMPSUIT" then " Nico and the Niners" then "Levitate" then "Chlorine" then "Saturday" then finally "The Outside".
My God i really enjoy this reaction guys, make me happy to see you enjoy my favorite band, keep going, your reactions are like fuel to me 🔥🔥🔥, take care! sending good vibes from Argentina!
I went to a concert in 2015 and they put Josh and his drum kit on top of a board then on top of the crowd and we helped hold it in the air. It was the coolest concert I’ve ever been too!
I love your reactions! Their shows are soooo good and they really put everything they've got. The crowd always goes crazy and sing every word with them.
I am so thankful for Josh and Tyler’s existence and for them sharing their amazing talents and art with all of us. I have never loved a band as much as I Love them. Literally love every single song. I wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for them and I know I’m not the only one.
I took my daughters to a show in Dallas about 4 or 5 years ago only knowing a couple of their songs and the show was so incredible it made me a huge fan. My daughters are in college now and we still make it a family affair to go see them when they come to Dallas, as a matter of fact we saw them last month and introduced my 6year old son to his first concert and he still talks about it. Great band and show!!
these guys have inspired me so much through my adult life and through my battles with mental health. Ive been following them since 2013ish and i finally got to see them live in dallas back in september! they are the most real musicians ive ever seen
Yes, yes, yes! It would be wonderful if you kept on the live performances for a bit. Trench is a masterpiece, but you need a bit more older stuff before you get to the Trench Trilogy music videos. Fox theater performances are from Blurryface era so it's a good building block for falling in love with the band. It was professionally filmed, so you have good audio and video. It's worth watching every song from the Fox Theater performance. They are all on TH-cam. There is one video that has the complete show.
I got into Tøp when my depression was at a high, and they pulled me through. My amazing mum wanted to know what it was that helped, so she listened and fell in love with them too. In 2019 we both got to see them here in the UK, me in remission and finally feeling like myself again, and got to touch Josh's hand as he ran past. Tøp are like NF. They get us in a way others don't, and they use that to save us. It's unsurprising NF is a fan of theirs really. And if anyone reading this feels how I did when I found Tøp, just remember. It gets better, and until it does Tøp, the rest of the clique, and those that love you will always be holding onto you.
PLEASE go to a concert, the show is incredible and artsy and awesome and we already know the music is insane. Also in the years since that live performance their show has somehow gotten so much better than an already perfect performance
Loved this reaction so much that I watched it twice in a row!! Loved how captivated you guys were!! Watching the Fox Theater performance convinced me that I NEEDED to see them live. Happily I have been able to do so three times in the span of a year! You guys need to experience more of their live performances. Tyler and Josh are amazing!!
A live version of this song was how I discovered them. I know that for Tyler, the song is about depression, but for me it felt like my OCD was being accurately described for the first time. Especially with the official music video for it.
I would absolutely LOVE to watch a reaction vid of you two AT a live show, reacting to the show in it's entirety, (or at least snippets throughout...)! It's not a concert when you see these two live: it's an intimate coming together! It's an unparalleled experience!!!
I took my 12 y/o daughter to see them about 2 months ago. They have been her favorite for about 3 years. They are AMAZING LIVE. For only 2 people they put on a great show.
They built their band on live shows, playing at frat parties and empty bars where they did whatever they could to get the bartender to look to see what the heck was going on! But the message is the key! They are massively talented and committed. I see requests for Fall Away with Dr. Blum. Make sure you do the video from the twenty one pilots channel. You’ll see them perform before they really blew up, and it’s great!
My first time listening to TOP was actually on a concert, they opened for paramore, at the time i didnt know anthing about them but wow they made me fall in love with their music, im not that of a regular listener but i keep going back to them for time to time
"Trees" live at Fox theater, "Fall away" live with DR. Blum, and "Goner" live at Fox theater are absolute musts
Yes!!
Absolutely yes ❤

my fav song still that made me fall in love with them and go down the twenty one pilots rabbit hole
21 Pilots r one of the greatest live artists ever!!!!! It’s truly a euphoric experience seeing them live!!! The energy, the emotion, the music…….. AMAZING!!!
Yay. I just watched your HDS reaction- keep going with the boys!!!!!
Why did I cry watching this? 😂 They are just so incredible live. No one does it like them.
I just rewatched all your TOP reactions and I wish you would do more of their lives, i mean, they’re insanely good live, you have to check out more!
Goner at the fox theater is a must. Never stop reacting to them it’s worth it every time 🙌🏼
Ive seen them live 7 times and will see them every time they come!!
Trees- Live at Fox Theater WITH the speech in your reaction 😍 welcome to the Clique
But yes- do ALL live videos released by them!! They are all solid
Yes!!!🎉🎉🎉
Anytime I want to be hyped up, I rewatch this reaction.
Neon gravestones in a BBC session makes the emotion even more clear then the recording
I love the BBC Radio One’s Tyler Joseph performances, I’ve learned all of them on the piano
this song is insane!!
WAIT till you see Josh play drums IN the crowd! yes I said IN(Crowd holds the set up)🤯🤯🤷♀️🤪😁✌️
Their shows are legendary, crowd inclusion is great. High energy every minute.
You haven’t lived your life until Josh Dunn has drummed on top of you in the pit 🤷🏼♀️
Josh does that backflip at every show.
You should watch the video now because the lyrics are incredible 😊✌️
2:14 wait til they see trees live 😅
9:31 I fell in love with this band after having the opportunity to hear them live
TREES IS AMAZING LIVE OMG
TØP concerts are the greatest time ever.
One of my favorite songs of theirs. Love it!
Heathens/Stranger Things. Live from Romania. Excellent live performance!
🇷🇴
I am Romanian 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴
"Trees" and "Goner" are two at the Fox Theater that are 100% required to watch they're so good
One of the best reactions I've ever seen in my life. you are amazing
Trees live is a freaking spiritual experience. If you only ever watch one more song live, make it that one.
First reaction appreciating Tyler’s jump
The Judge live at the fox theatre is the best performance there is. It’s a must watch
My God i really enjoy this reaction guys, make me happy to see you enjoy my favorite band, keep going, your reactions are like fuel to me 🔥🔥🔥, take care! sending good vibes from Argentina!
It took me several times to realize he was holding the microphone like that to shade his eyes so he could see the crowd 😂😂😂
I have seen them 3 times and the showmanship is incredible. It's like a big family reunion
I cry with this reaction, I’ll see TOP in concert next month 😍
I went to a concert in 2015 and they put Josh and his drum kit on top of a board then on top of the crowd and we helped hold it in the air. It was the coolest concert I’ve ever been too!
BEEN TO SEE THEM LIVE UGHGGHHGGGGGG ITS SOOO GOOOODDD
My daughter and I saw them on their 2015 tour.
OMG, amazing!!!
Ok. A million comments from me -- Kyle's face for the first 45 seconds!!!
A live version of this song was how I discovered them. I know that for Tyler, the song is about depression, but for me it felt like my OCD was being accurately described for the first time. Especially with the official music video for it.
Top 3 life-changing concerts I've had the privilege to see. A little venue in Bloomfield, MI... trees is my favorite!! Screens is also great
I would absolutely LOVE to watch a reaction vid of you two AT a live show, reacting to the show in it's entirety, (or at least snippets throughout...)! It's not a concert when you see these two live: it's an intimate coming together! It's an unparalleled experience!!!
I just saw these guys perform in KC and they were beyond fantastic. It was a performance of a lifetime. Absolutely surreal.
I took my 12 y/o daughter to see them about 2 months ago. They have been her favorite for about 3 years. They are AMAZING LIVE. For only 2 people they put on a great show.
THEY ARE AMAZING LIVE NO MATTER WHAT
I just remembered there's a session with just Tyler where he sings Cut My Lip acoustic and that is an emotional rollercoaster
Seeing them live is a MUST! During their emotional roadshow tour, they went in those huge hamster balls and juat surfed on the crowd in them.
Keep them coming, you are one of the best reaction channels to Twenty One Pilots' music. 🔥
My first time listening to TOP was actually on a concert, they opened for paramore, at the time i didnt know anthing about them but wow they made me fall in love with their music, im not that of a regular listener but i keep going back to them for time to time
